All right.
So have you been following the channel for a while, then?
You know, I've got a bizarre, strange enthusiasm around chargers, just chargers in general.
I find it unfortunate that not every product in 2020 charges over USB Type C because that's another thing that's important to me as if I'm traveling or if I have one laptop bag, I tryto trimmed down as many things as I need to carry.
So if I could have one charger for everything, that will be great.
But then it got me into the investigation.
It got me down the path of trying to find what that ultimate single charger would be, what it would look like for the record just straight out the gate.
This is not something that you're gonna need.
This is into the realm of upgrading something you probably already have.
So what we have here is a laptop charger.
I think the company's called serious, and they're claiming it's the smallest apple adapter on a planet.
Now what makes it an apple adapter?
Nothing really.
Other than the fact that it's capable of charging popular Apple laptops because it has a power output of 65 watts, but ultimately it's a USB see charger.
Oh, also, they included a type sito lightning cable.
So that's very apple ish of them as well, at 65 watts, smaller than any type C charger at 65 watts previously.
Smaller maybe not in every single dimension, but just the overall volume of it.
Because I did a video, of course, not that long ago attempting to find, well, this and I found the other product from energy, which is also super tiny, and there's probably not a huge reason to upgrade from that to this if you already had that, but now that this exists, you might gravitate towards this instead of that energy model.
The other thing I like about this versus the energy one is that it sits flush to the wall so it's not popping out or poking out with a lot of these chargers.
They sit so far out from the wall they can cause problems.
Obstacles.
And so that's another kind of thoughtful thing that exists in this particular design.
The type C to see CableACE six feet and the type seats.
A lightning cable is three feet, and they also say it's designed in Italy, so that immediately means it's amazing.
Now I hear you.
You're probably watching this saying, Lou, I'm not prepared to spend.
I believe this thing retails for around 80 bucks.
I'm not prepared to spend 80 bucks for a charger.
I already have.
I gotta charge with my laptop.
I'm not looking to replace it for a little bit of extra portability.
I hear you.
If this isn't your area of enthusiasm, if you're not trying to get the slimmest, if you're not trying to get the best version of something, that's a completely fair point.
But all of us have our strange interests.
And for me, one of them is kind of finding the ultimate version off each component that I might carry with me.
And this might very well be the ultimate charger.
And if so, then that will be a great find, as far as I'm concerned, even at 80 bucks.
All right.
So the first thing you see in a package are your cables.
Okay.
There you go.
There's some tape on the outside of it.
So this is the brick.
I obviously I would prefer it if they didn't have the branding all over it.
I love the fact that the prongs fold down.
Look at this.
That's a tiny little practice.
A laptop charger's a 65 watt capable charger in this tiny little package, and I don't know if I have Where do I have a power outlet on the wall?
We can do it over here.
If that's easy enough for Jack, imagine that this PowerBar is just a regular outlet in your house somewhere and you have this popped in there.
It is flush flush with the wall because I hate that moment when the thing gets knocked and the prongs get bent.
We've all had that experience.
The cables of included here are braided, so that's kind of a premium component as well.
This is the three foot toe lightning cable, so Type C into this end, and then this side can go into well, any lightning device that you have it could be airpods could be an iPhone.
This might attract people who wanna upgrade their iPhone charger if you have an iPhone, which is capable of fast charging, but it only shipped with a five watt charger that exists.
That's an actual reality for a number of people.
Now you're looking at Apple's dedicated charger, which is already kind of expensive.
And so then this might be attractive for you as well to look in this direction.
And then this is the longer cable.
This is likely the laptop cable even carry two laptops if you chose to PC and Mac.
And it's the same capable charger popping into the type seaport on either units as faras, all in one Chargers air concerned.
The best charger, the greatest charger on planet Earth.
This one is definitely in.
It's in the conversation now.
Maybe will can give us a price comparison real quick on the screen.
So this is the egg Tronic.
This is 79 99 65.
Wives of total power output Universal and versatile use.
Bc power delivery industry leading energy efficiency It looks like it comes in a different color as well.
It's 3.35 ounces.
What do you do if you need another plug up?
European and Australian plug versions are coming soon.
That might be an advantage for the energy product.
My previous all in one go to charger.
That's the charger right there.
It's wow!
look at that.
Very competitive.
$79 0 this one's only 60 watts, not 65.
So advantage here, it's 88 grams.
How heavy was this 1 94 So actually, the energy is slightly lighter.
What?
You're giving up five watts of power?
If I had to pick the perfect one had to go head to head with that design versus this design.
I'm probably gonna pick this one up just because of this factor right there.
Like the way this pops out the way it hangs on the wall, the way it sits flush.
You could push a piece of furniture up against it, a cabinet if you had to have it in a more permanent installation.
Or if it's in a public space in an airport or it's in your kitchen, it's not going to get bumped.
Me.
It's gonna be very difficult.
With the cable coming out the bottom down the wall, it's gonna be very difficult for somebody to knock this off or bend these prom anyway.
There you have it.
It's from a company called Egg Tronic.
It's a new brand.
I have no experience with them, so I'm gonna have to use it for an extended period of time.
Uh, the serious universal charger designed in Italy that is a pretty wild 65 watt laptop slash everything charger.
