  • however, one.

  • Welcome to another video Now.

  • For the last few months, it seems, I've had nothing but Minecraft videos recommended to me.

  • Don't get me wrong It's always been popular, but it's like we're back in 2012 here, except from the fact that every other video popping up on my recommendations is some variation or MIM off bad guy.

  • It's all Minecraft or bad guy at the moment.

  • I swear I haven't sat down and played Minecraft properly for ages.

  • I featured in a couple of videos, but I haven't had a good long Minecraft gaming session in years.

  • It was then I got thinking about what sort of PC the developers recommend for this graphically unassuming game.

  • Well, it turns out the minimum Requirements State and I three or a M D, a.

  • P U.

  • With integrated graphics.

  • The recommended requirements are quite a bit heavier.

  • You might think Minecraft can run on a potato, and as far as the graphics card is concerned, that may be true.

  • But the game is pretty process at dependence with a quad core I 5 46 90 or a M d.

  • A.

  • 10 being ideal.

  • So I built this.

  • This gaming PC is based on Minecraft recommended specs.

  • While it makes little sense to build a system for one game, I was curious to see how this machine handled the ever popular title on because this is actually a relatively well priced combo.

  • In 2019 I wanted to see whether these specs were any good in other modern games as well.

  • So let's talk about what we've got.

  • First up, it's the I 5 46 90 It has four course for threads and a 3.5 gigahertz clock speed.

  • It fits in the 11 50 suck it and works perfectly with this H 81 M p 33 motherboard.

  • My favorite.

  • It costs me £50 which is about 55 euros or 60 U.

  • S.

  • Dollars.

  • The graphics card suggested by Mo Jang Mo Yang is actually pretty broad.

  • It just says our X 200.

  • Siri's That's not our exes in our exit basically means any are 200.

  • Siri's card.

  • The game is way more fussed.

  • About what process, sir, you're running with that being said, I went with this M s I.

  • R.

  • 9 to 70.

  • It's basically a 78 70.

  • But the beauty of it is that it cost me just £35 around 38 euros or $43.

  • It averages around those prices on eBay as well.

  • And at that price, it seems like a fairly good deal.

  • So can this combo right?

  • Minecraft?

  • Well, of course it can.

  • Turning things way up in the graphical menu yields a very nice result with the Vanilla Game.

  • I say that because we'll be moving on to something else in a little bit.

  • 10 80 p resolution Max Render distance and full fancy graphics here meant a fluent gaming experience with this title.

  • We have the game installed on a Kingston SSD as well, such as thegame recommends, and things are running very well.

  • There were a couple of stutters and drops here and there when we first fight up the game.

  • But as the assets load and what not things start to get smoother to eliminate any drops altogether, lowering the render trunk setting will certainly help and will boost the frame rates by quite some margin to It's not necessary, though, and you'll have a great time on a set up like this But the thing is, it's Minecraft that many maps, mods and tweaks available, and this is where the otherwise overkill specs come in handy.

  • Take, for example, sonic ethers.

  • Renewed visual overhaul.

  • Installing this excellent visual tweak improves the graphics and lighting, but also aims to not completely destroyed performance.

  • And thanks to the I five and our nine graphics card here, we're still seeing respectable frame rates with the highest settings.

  • This is actually where the choice of GPU is important.

  • See if we went for a lower end card, we would have still Sig nice performance in the Vanilla Game.

  • But going for something a little more powerful means we can make use of visual overhauls like this.

  • And, as you can see by the M S, I afterburner stats in the top left corner.

  • It's the graphics card that's taking the brunt of the workload to summarize here.

  • If you want to play Minecraft with visual overhaul muds, then you should consider your graphics card choice more carefully.

  • But if it's the vanilla game you prefer than a powerful CPU, is where you should invest more of your budget.

  • I find these two components to be a nice balance between those two things.

  • As I said, building a PC for one game doesn't make too much sense, though, So let's see what else this combination conduce.

  • I have a feeling it's the GPU that's going to be the weak link in the following scenarios.

  • But let's jump into some Triple eight titles and see before that, though, let me quickly touch on the sinner bench ar 15 result.

  • You'll see here that the 46 95 outperforms the 46 70 k by a little bit, but it does feel slightly short off the rising 3 32 100 g, which is honestly no surprise when it comes to multi court performance.

  • If we take a look at the single court result down at the bottom here, you'll see that while the 46 90 again outperforms the 46 70 k, it comes slightly short off the rise and 5 34 100 G, but outperforms the aforementioned 3200 G by a few points, as well as a couple of older risings there, too.

  • Not bad.

  • I also tested out the old school heaven benchmark for the R 9 to 70 while it couldn't quite managed to retain a solid 60 f p s or even 30 f.

  • P.

  • S at the Max Settings bar.

  • A couple of scenarios here.

  • I think it did quite well, considering its age.

  • And considering the fact that this WAAS a £150 card when it released this benchmark, wasn't really to prove anything, it was just to check that the card was working as it should before I jumped into any Triple eight titles.

  • So what I will say for this combination before we really get started is that it's better suited for 10 80 p 30 f p s.

  • If you want to turn the settings up.

  • Now, what I've done here is just seen how high I could turn things up while retaining at least 30 very much per second.

  • I think for 60 in a lot of newer games, you're going to want the low settings and a lower resolution.

  • But as I say, I stuck with 1920 by 10 80 p throughout Andi.

  • First off, it's assessing screed Odyssey, probably one of my favorite in the Siri's and one of the most demanding you can see here that with the low settings.

  • At 10 80 p, we averaged around 30 to 35 f.

  • P s in battlefield five.

  • There were a few moments in this tank level where the game did hit 60 f.

  • P s.

  • But overall, the average Waas lower than that and you can see that the CPU was quite strained here.

  • This is because it has four cause and forth threats.

  • Now I think forecourt and forth Red Sea peers are still fantastic in 2019 in a lot of situations.

  • But you may find that in more CPU intensive tasks or games that four threads will start to struggle a little bit.

  • Hence the heavy recommendation off Rise and CP use, or even the eye 5 84 100 or 9400 Effort the moment in Battlefield five.

  • Throughout this tank level, the game performed quite well on the graphics card, held its own as well.

  • This is basically a 78 70 and we'll perform very closely to it now.

  • Don't really 2.0 is generally quite well optimized, but we were seeing dips towards the lower thirties to the games credit and the hardware's credit.

  • I was trying to run things at high for a nice combination of performance on visual quality.

  • Here this, sir, hi preset seemed to do the trick.

  • I know not all of you enjoy 30 frames per second, so I always try and discuss what settings?

  • Your need for both scenarios low or perhaps a few things set to medium would net you that 60 f p s target when it came to fault night.

  • This is easily doable.

  • Turn things down to medium here just to guarantee at least 60 f.

  • P s.

  • In this case, I think when it comes to multi player games, though, a higher frame rate is certainly better hints why are aimed for 60 in this situation.

  • I think the game runs at 60 FBS across the consul's as well.

  • So I decided to target that in this instance and is easily doable with the low or medium settings on.

  • A few things.

  • Set too high, too, if you wish I quickly through rage to in here.

  • I didn't think it was going to start at first because it has some trouble on certain CP use, mainly to court and forth red ones.

  • But here on the I five.

  • It did eventually fire up, though you can probably tell by the judge eeriness of it'll that rage to isn't playable even at 10.

  • 80 p.

  • Load.

  • Now, what sort of benchmark test would it be without throwing in the classic crisis?

  • Here we averaged just over 60 f p s, which wasn't about result, considering we were using the very high preset.

  • But we did have any forms of anti air using turned off.

  • There were a few instances where the game froze very, very briefly, but I've noticed this happened quite a lot in crisis.

  • It's just a a knock demised mess when you get down to it.

  • And, of course, was the most demanding game of all time for a very, very long while.

  • Knowing Grand Theft Auto five, we remained with the very high settings that we did have to turn things down to normal under some of the categories, shadows in particular as well as grass to retain that 60 F.

  • P s average.

  • All of the advanced settings were on as well for without force at close to 30 f B.

  • S as well.

  • I run over this bridge, but before doing So I threw one of these Molotov things at it, and it ignited every mine that we had on here, which wasn't exactly brilliant for the games frame rate.

  • But I thought I'd do that because it shows you how intensive situations can drop the F.

  • P s on screen and make the game a little more Laghi.

  • Most of the time, though, it ran very well.

  • All in all, then, this build is okay when it comes to modern Triple eight titles.

  • These, of course, are the recommended Minecraft specs and the only of a good at running that game, especially with the vanilla settings.

  • But you can also enhance the game with visual mods and overhauls to on dhe.

  • Should you want to jump into any other titles, just know that you can, providing you manage your expectations.

  • 10.

  • 80 p 30 f.

  • P.

  • S is certainly a target with this sort of hardware to keep in mind.

  • And I think it does a pretty good job of retaining that there aren't many games that would see you drop below this.

  • Unless, of course, we are talking about Metro Exit.

  • It's things like that.

  • But for the most part it did.

  • Okay.

  • And on that note well, I hope you've enjoyed this video.

  • Let me know what game you'd like to see.

  • A recommended requirements build for next.

  • In the comments below, leave a lock on it.

  • If you enjoyed it.
