and welcome to a little summer.
Look, look, I'm not sure like many people make look books anymore.
I feel like I'm kind of going out of style, but But this is an eight outfit look book.
So there's something for every every summer occasion.
Let's be honest, We're all just gonna end up wearing T shirts and shorts all summer anyway.
But this look book will help both of us delude ourselves into thinking that we're gonna wear something cute for this first outfit.
I don't if you guys remember the color blocking trend from like 2013 I was in early high school and oh, boy, I researched the heck out of color blocking on blawg spot on all of my favorite fashion vlogs on like the O Z.
YouTube.
Everybody was wearing like cobalt blue and bright pink, and I was living for it.
So this outfit is my toned down version of that For 2019 I have this lovely, poofy lavender slaver slaver Slav sweater.
But it was the perfect thing to pair with my little mini skirt because the sweaters of it more oversized and bulky.
And then obviously the skirt has this scandalous little leg slit in it for some contrast in color.
I threw on this Marc Jacobs purse that they gifted to me that that screams.
I am about bustier influencer than you.
Yeah, that's like the most expensive thing that I own.
But I think it's really cute.
And I finished the outfit off with some hooker, and I mean funky platform shoes I love have seventies inspired.
These are although they are actual walking death trap.
I cannot for the life of me walking these.
Oh, also, the owner of this van walked by while I was taking photos, and at first I was so terrified, I thought he was gonna, like, kick me out or like, sue me for, like, putting my foot on his hands.
But he was actually so nice.
And he was just really happy that somebody was taking photos in front of his and so shadow to my boy Georgie for your amazing vintage car.
Thank you for letting me issue in front of it.
I don't think he's watching my YouTube videos.
He's like a 70 year old man, but second outfit David and I were tragically ambushed by four food for day quickly took David prisoner and demanded pets as tribute.
He's still covered in dog hair.
My goodness, here is my second outfit, which I hold my like picnic Barbie.
Look, this is the tallest I've ever looked in an outfit.
Let's just say that I was so excited when I found these pants because a they're gonna be They're gonna see they're fucking gigolo pants.
That is the drink.
Since these pants are quite a statement, I kept the rest of the outfit super white whiter than the don't girls trip.
Gosh, I'm wearing this crop top with a little bit of volume around the shoulders to balance out the voluminous bottom of the pants I'm wearing Those same seventies inspire heels from earlier, which I am still not any better walking.
Are you okay?
Oh, Oh, and finish off the look.
I went for some pearl accessories.
I have this pearl bag from Princess Polly that I'm obsessed with and some Pearl statement hearings that I'm wearing in literally every outfit in this look book.
I can't believe it's come to this, but I am officially that Instagram ho who goes to cafes just for the aesthetic.
My real problem is that I'm just self conscious enough to realize how annoying on being, but never quite self conscious enough to stop filming in public in the first place.
I think this dress is so aggressively cotton candy.
I wanted to tone it down a little bit with some edgy your accessories.
So I went for some black boots with little bit of lace up detail on them.
I feel like they're kind of witchy boots, almost which I really like in combination with the dress.
And I went for this bag with some silver hardware.
Overall, I like this outfit is light enough for the summer but still fancy enough to scream.
I paid $7 for a lot with Kincaid's crying face on it.
Since it's summer, of course, I have to do an outfit with some high waisted distress shorts, but I wanted to make an outfit that you haven't seen on Tumblr 50 million times since 2012.
So I decided to go for this monochrome look, which makes it nearly look like I have a romper or a two piece set on to singe in the waist and add a pop of pattern I went for this leopard print belt because even though it's summer, I am not over the leopard print trend.
Yet for my bag, I did cave and by that basic ass beach bag but like every single person on Instagram loans.
But sue me, I think it's cute.
And now also very, this outfit screams.
I have been dating David for way too long, and now I like the look of Birkenstocks.
Technically, these aren't like Burke and soft Birkenstock.
They are Dr Martin Birkenstocks, which I think like in some people's eyes, makes them even more hideous.
But I thought this was a nice diversion from the usual passed a ll girlie twirly outfit.
I am also honored to own the same shoes as Joanna CDO.
They're so ugly, and I love them now to take a break from all these skirts and dresses.
This is a more casual option that's been my go to for running errands or like just sitting around my apartment.
Recently, I've been forcing myself to get out of my pajamas and like into real people close even while I work from home.
It honestly been great for my productivity and feeling less like a mashed potato all day long.
Anyway, I've been looking for a black band T for so long, and I finally found this one from an Instagram vintage shop called Shop Jed.
No, I don't know a single one of their songs, but I know they make a damn cute bandy, and that's enough for me for the rest of the outfit.
I went for a black bass and a red bag to match the accent on the tea for like, three years.
I could not for the life of me figure out how to make a midi skirt look cute.
No matter what.
I always ended up looking like an 18th century grandma and not in a cute way.
I feel like this happens with fashion trends all the time, though I see them on the runway I don't like Oh, that's super ugly.
Who would ever wear that?
And then three years later it's me wearing it.
So for my miniskirt, I went for this kind of like vintage floral pattern.
I like having a pattern midi skirt because it is kind of like a large block of fabric to have on you so a little bit of pattern helps kind of break it up if that makes any sense to tone it down even further, I added some white sneakers.
I love the juxtaposition between something more girly and something that's a little bit more casual to keep everything simple and summary.
I wore that same tube top from earlier, and I also threw on this bag for a little bit extra pop of color for all.
Get in the park like a regular.
What do you want?
Your?
And for our last outfit, it wouldn't be a best dressed look book without a vintage dress.
This is my latest fine from Goodwill, and it's a little big on me.
So I tied a pink ribbon around my waist to sentinel in.
I added these platform espadrilles that I bought last year, and I still love for a little bit of like a youthful modern edge to my kind of grandma vibes dress and my favorite little would bag to finish off thier way.
And those are all the looks in my summer lookbook.
Normally, I think of like a fun joke, Thio and all these videos, but I'm literally just running on five hours of sleep.
So this is what you get.
I hope you enjoyed.
