- Hey, everybody, and in today's video,
I'm gonna be giving you five websites
that people are using to make money online worldwide
for free, without needing a credit card.
Yep, 100% free, no hidden fees,
and no hidden subscription costs.
And the way that you make money
with each of these five websites is very similar.
What you do is you use them to create and sell
simple text-based T-shirts, like this one here,
that made over $1,000 this past month.
But I can imagine that a lot of my new viewers
are thinking, "Wait a minute.
"Sarah, you're saying that people are making money
"for free on the internet selling T-shirts?
"That doesn't sound free.
"That sounds expensive.
"After all, don't I need a T-shirt factory?
"Don't I need to hire any staff?
"Don't I need to be a graphic designer?"
And the answer to all of those is no.
You don't need any of that.
And I'm gonna prove it to you right now.
But also, a quick disclaimer.
As you will discover, a lot of these websites,
they are very similar.
However, I still recommend that you stick around
and you watch the video to find out about all five of them,
because as you'll see, you can combine them all together
to make even more money.
So let me show you show people are making money online
for free without a credit card,
and without a T-shirt factory,
and without graphic design skills.
So I'm here on my first website, Zazzle.
This is a website that lets you create
and sell your own merchandise.
It lets you create and sell all sorts of products,
such as mugs, pillows, and of course,
it lets you create and sell T-shirts,
without actually making them yourself.
Here's how it works.
All you do is sign up for a free Zazzle account,
no subscription fees required.
It literally takes seconds to sign up,
because you can just use your Google or Facebook account
to quickly register.
Once you sign up for free,
you can then select one of the many products
they manufacture and sell.
Once you do, all you need to do is upload a piece of artwork
to the website and digitally place it onto the product.
You can resize it and place it wherever you like
on the T-shirt.
After filling out your product page details,
like giving your product page a title
and setting a price for it,
you can then post your product for sale on their website.
Zazzle will handle all sales and payment processing for you.
Then when a customer comes to your T-shirt and buys it,
Zazzle's factory will then print your piece of artwork
onto one of their T-shirts
and ship it out to the customer for you,
automatically, without you having to do anything.
Zazzle will then take out their fees
and pay out the profit to you as a commission.
In the eCommerce industry, we have a name for this.
It is called print on demand,
and it allows you to sell phantom products
like phantom T-shirts that don't even exist yet,
because they are only made
after the customer has already purchased it from you.
All right, so we have answered objection number one,
how can I make and sell T-shirts?
So let's move on to objection number two.
Don't I need to be a graphic designer?
The sneaky thing that Zazzle won't tell you
is that actually, no, no, you don't.
They like to advertise their platform
as a way for artists to make money online, but really,
many of their top-selling products
feature little to no artwork at all.
The designs are so simple, anyone can make them.
Case in point: you see this top-selling T-shirt here?
This T-shirt is literally just text.
That's all this is.
It's a funny quote.
And you know what?
Replicating and making your own funny quote T-shirts
like this is ridiculously simple.
So I'm over here in one of my favorite graphic apps, Canva.
Now I know a lot of people struggle
to understand my accent when I pronounce Canva,
so I will spell it out for everyone.
C-A-N-V-A, Canva.
So inside of here, look what I did.
I simply added in a text box,
and I selected a quirky, casual font
from Canva's huge list of free open-source fonts,
and that's it.
That's all this is.
It's just a text box, and that's that.
That is how simple it was for me to make this T-shirt.
The artist didn't need to be a graphic artist.
They just needed to know how to slap a text box
onto a shirt.
And while copying this exact shirt would be a bad idea,
what is a good idea is copying the idea
of creating funny text-based T-shirts,
and then browsing places like Instagram
for funny quotes and phrases,
especially trending quotes and phrases,
to place onto your T-shirts.
And the wonderful thing about funny quotes, phrases,
and words is oftentimes the simplicity of text-based designs
adds too the humor, rather than taking away from it.
It makes the T-shirt more deadpan,
and that makes it funnier.
That is why the most common way
that people have success with text-based designs,
it's by focusing on funny quotes and phrases.
And by the way, if you are enjoying this video
and you would like even more free training
on print on demand, then be sure to download my free ebook,
"The 6 Steps that 6-Figure Online Stores Follow
"to Make Over $10,000 a Month,"
and you'll find a link to download that
in the video description below.
But you know, whenever I make videos like these,
I almost always get comments from people saying things like,
"Sure, Sarah, but does this actually work?
"Because I'm not sure if this actually,
"quote, unquote, works."
I'll be honest.
This has to be one of the most hated comments
that I get on my videos of all time.
Let me ask you a question.
If this didn't actually work,
how is it that Zazzle makes hundreds of millions of dollars?
There are no fees to sell on Zazzle, so the only way
that Zazzle is making hundreds of millions of dollars
is if they're actually selling the products
that their third-party sellers create
and actually make them money.
Zazzle made $270 million
because they sold hundreds of millions of dollars
from third-party sellers on their platform.
So yes, people do buy these T-shirts,
and yes, they do make people money.
And pro-tip, if you want to be one of the people
who are successfully making money on sites like these,
the people that are successful,
they're not the people that put up one T-shirt
or two T-shirts or three T-shirts.
They experiment, and they put up lots of T-shirts
until they find a design that clicks with Zazzle's customers
and makes them go, "You know what?
"That's hilarious. I want that."
But while I do admittedly find this question
a little frustrating,
there is a good question that I get asked a lot,
and it's this, "But Sarah, I'm confused.
"How I can I get paid out if I don't have a credit card?"
And that's a good question.
When someone comes and buys your T-shirt,
Zazzle collects their fees
and pays out the rest of the profit to you
in the form of a commission.
And they don't put that commission onto a credit card.
They put it either into your PayPal account,
or they can send it out in the form of a check.
And yes, checks can indeed be sent worldwide.
And here is another good question that I get asked.
They go, "Okay, Sarah.
"If I make a T-shirt design on one website,
"can I sell it on another website?"
And the answer is that you can sell your T-shirt designs
wherever you like.
So here's an idea.
Why not post it on a similar website to Zazzle, Threadless?
This is another website
that lets you create and sell products
like mugs, towels, hoodies, and T-shirts.
And you know what?
There's nothing stopping you
from listing your Zazzle products here too,
and if you're wondering, but sure, Sarah,
do people actually buy simple text-based designs on here?
The answer is absolutely.
Look at this.
This was one of the top products in the search results
when I typed in engineer.
And I know that this is selling well,
because Threadless and Zazzle
are similar to Etsy's search engine.
If I type in engineer into Etsy's search engine,
it'll get me a bunch of products.
The algorithm orders products
based on if they're selling or not.
All of these engineer T-shirts featured here
are the current top-selling engineer-related T-shirts
on Etsy.
So because this T-shirt here popped up,
it's one of the top products for this keyword, engineer,
I know that it's currently a top-selling T-shirt
on Threadless as a gift for engineers.
And as you can see, there's no fancy artwork, nothing,
just text.
It's a huge myth that the only T-shirts that sell
feature fancy designs and artwork.
Inside my premium print-on-demand training course,
The Ecomm Clubhouse, I have a tutorial video
which shows how to combine memes you find on Instagram
with Canva to create free designs.
If you're interested in joining my course,
I'll have a link to it in the video description below.
And yes, you can even repost designs to my third website,
Merch by Amazon.
Now, my regular subscribers might want to skip ahead
to the next website, as they may recognize this
since I've talked about it before,
but I'll also be revealing a money-making text-based T-shirt
that's currently making its creator passive income
each year, so you may still find this interesting.
But yes, what a lot of people don't know
is that Amazon offers lots of ways
to sell products on their site, and one of those is this,
Merch by Amazon, their print-on-demand service.
All you need to do is register
and then sign into your account, and yes,
since the entire point of this video is how to make money
without a credit card, that is not required.
Just like with the other two websites, all you need to do
is choose which products you want to sell.
Once you've selected it,
you then just upload what artwork you want to sell onto it,
and just like with the other websites,
Amazon will collect the purchase price, remove their fees,
and pay you the difference as a commission.
So if I price my T-shirt at $19.99,
I will get $5.23 as a commission.
And are people actually successfully selling
and making money from the text-based T-shirts
they create using the Merch by Amazon program?
They sure are.
Check it out.
Here is a simple, funny text-based design
that someone is selling.
And using the Amazon sales estimator tool JungleScout,
we can see how many sales that it estimates
that this T-shirt has made in the past month.
And if we load up the results,
we'll see that it estimates that it's made
over $1,000 in sales in the past month,
which is hundreds of dollars
in passive commissions for its creator.
And it's been up for sale since 2018.
So it's just been sitting here,
making its creator passive income for over two years.
The one big downside though, unfortunately,
with Merch by Amazon,
compared to the other websites on this list,
is that to register,
you do need to actually submit an application.
You can't just register and get instantly accepted.
Obviously, I filled it out and I got accepted.
I've had several other viewers who've been accepted as well.
On the other hand, I've had other viewers
who haven't been so lucky.
So, if you're interested,
I recommend that you Google it and you look up some advice
on how to submit a great application,
and you know what, give it a go.
If you get accepted, awesome.
If you don't, sell on the next website instead.
And that is my fourth website SunFrog.
It's another website like Zazzle and Threadless,
a print-on-demand marketplace
that specializes primarily in T-shirts,
and so another opportunity to sell your funny tees.
And before you ask, yes, it does actually work.
It's estimated that SunFrog has generated hundreds
of millions of dollars in sales for its third-party sellers,
so lots of opportunities here to make extra free money.
And actually, SunFrog has a feature
that I don't think any of the other T-shirt marketplaces
have on my list.
So I'm here on the dashboard for my account.
Now I timed it.
It literally took me less than 60 seconds to create this.
And so here is what SunFrog have.
They have premade templates and designs
that you can modify and use,
so that you don't even have to create your own designs.
You can just use these to create your own T-shirts.
So here's what you do.
Let's say you wanted to take this design and modify it
to say "This girl loves her horse."
This is template 39.
Well, what you then do is you take this URL here
and then copy it into your internet browser,
replace the template's number
with the template number that you want to use,
which in this case is 39, and replace the SOME NAME text
with the punch line that you want to use,
which in this case here is Horse.
SunFrog will generate the T-shirt for you.
It will generate a T-shirt using the template you chose
and add the text you chose,
and now you can post this design and sell it for free.
And actually, there is another way to double-dip again
to make even more money
when you're selling on these T-shirt marketplaces,
and let me show you how, using my fifth website,
and that is CafePress.
You know the drill.
It's another third-party marketplace
that you can create and list products on,
and when they sell, CafePress will pay you by a commission,
no credit card required, but they also have something else,
an affiliate program.
Using their affiliate program, you can make even more money,
and here is how.
So while some of you watching
will know what an affiliate program is, some of you won't,
so I'm gonna quickly explain it.
So this here is one of my favorite print-on-demand tools,
Placeit.
Placeit is awesome.
There's lots of different pictures of models
that are wearing blank, plain T-shirts.
So using this, you can come in, choose one of their models,
and then upload one of your designs.
Placeit will then digitally
put your design onto the picture.
I use Placeit extensively
when I'm selling print-on-demand products.
I love it.
I am unashamedly a Placeit fangirl.
In fact, I loved it so much that in this video,
which gives 10 print-on-demand tips,
I included a link to it in the video description.
Well, when you click on that link,
you'll actually be redirected to a different URL,
and if you take a look at that URL,
you'll see it has a tracking code attached.
This URL here is what you'd call an affiliate link,
and this tracking code tracks each person that clicks on it,
and if they do click on it and buy it,
I get a commission on that sale.
And as you can see, I've made thousands of dollars
from people clicking my affiliate link
and then buying Placeit.
And so that's what CafePress have;
they have an affiliate program.
Other print-on-demand marketplaces like SunFrog and Zazzle
have their own affiliate programs as well,
and when you register for them,
you'll also be given an affiliate tracking link.
So let's say that you are selling
this top-selling text-based design on Zazzle.
Well, what you can do is sign up for their affiliate program
to get your tracking link inside your affiliate account.
You could then advertise your T-shirt for free
on social media sites like Pinterest
and use your affiliate link as the URL
that links to your T-shirt.
That way, when people find your T-shirt on Pinterest
and buy it, not only will you earn
your seller commission on Zazzle,
you'll also earn a 15% affiliate commission,
doubling the amount of money that you earn,
which I think is pretty cool.
So if you learned something today about making money online
and you'd like to learn even more,

and click on the notification bell
so that you don't miss out on any of my videos.
And I've actually got two more videos

The first video gives you 10 more websites
that you can use to make money online for free,
and the other video gives you 10 tips
for how you can make even more money with print-on-demand.
So pick which one you want to watch,
and I will see you on the next video.
