Let's look at the note here. Of course, we can say physical objects are damaged. Like you know his car was damaged in the accident. You could say that. No problem, and we could also say a body part was damaged. Yeah. Maybe you say that ballplayer, that outfielder ran into the wall and damaged his shoulder. So you could say a body part is damaged. That's why sometimes this is confusing. You could say a body part is damaged, but don't say the person is damaged. However, we don't say someone was damaged in an accident, natural disaster, etc. Okay. We should use words like hurt or injured. That's the way. They're the more common words. Okay. So let's take a look at the the note again. Let's continue. Again with the X this would be wrong. This is where a student might make a mistake. He was damaged from a blow to the head. No. You can't say that. He was injured from a blow to the head or he was hurt from a blow to the head. You know, a blow is like a strike. Somebody ... somehow he got hit in the head. Or you could say this. You could say his brain was damaged from a blow to the head. So remember you can't say a body part is damaged. So you could have ... these these ones are correct. With the X this is wrong. Okay. Let's, let's continue with the note here. However, you can say somebody's name, somebody's name, somebody's reputation somebody's image, etc. was damaged. So that could be damaged. So this is why it's confusing. You might hear it in in this sense. You could say you know, his reputation was damaged. He was damaged, maybe if it's referring to his reputation, you might be able to get away with it. So let's ... but let's give an example. And this is clear here. You could say his reputation was damaged from that scandal or due to that scandal. Yeah. Basically so that's the way we use it. Anyway, I hope you got it. I hope it's clear. Thank you for your time. Bye-bye.
