  • Hey guys, how's it going today?

  • My name is Brandon.

  • And in this video, we're going to help you improve your English speaking ability.

  • When you first meet somebody, you might want to ask them a million questions.

  • But, actually, you want to keep a balance of giving and asking questions.

  • And in this video, we're going to show you how.

  • So keep watching.

  • Whenever, I'm traveling abroad, I'm always wanting to meet new people, have good conversations,

  • and just have a good time.

  • But, generally, all the conversations are almost the same.

  • They always ask the same questions.

  • Where are you from?

  • What do you do?

  • Why are you here?

  • Where do you live?

  • How old are you?

  • And so on and so on.

  • Those aren't bad questions.

  • But it just feels like I'm being interviewed.

  • And I don't want to be interviewed.

  • I want to talk to you.

  • I want to learn a little bit about you.

  • So if you ask me what's my favorite sports team,

  • After tell me yours, and tell me why.

  • The key is keeping a balance.

  • Between asking and giving information.

  • Balance is key.

  • So the next time you see me walking down the street, or any other foreigner, go up and

  • say, “hi”.

  • Start a conversation.

  • Ask them some questions.

  • But don't ask them one million questions.

  • You want to start a conversation.

  • And a conversation is sharing information between two or more people.

  • So make sure you give them some information about yourself, too.

  • If you like this video, make sure you like and subscribe.
