might know couple movies he's written and directed like a center a pet detective and not be professor so also directed liar liar patch adams bruce almighty and evan almighty instincts of americans but a senior books uh... yes i believe they have to have a but and i thank you and i owe them very much uh... art you also did the documentary i am with ropes are recently which is amazing and i were talking about eighty below that yellow you have a little turned out that there are no question about that with her about why you turn to so now that obviously is that true isn't enormous head how did that come about uh... this script which have been around for about ten years comes along with space concert at the tech and probably wasn't what you see today it wasn't the story that you see where the easy she and all that stuff and i met on it they've got this crazy idea uh... with a friend of mine eugene liebowitz and we we rewrote it then hired this guy was an unknown at the time he was the way kind living color even jim carrey and a lot of people thought we are crazy cuz he done four five film before any hadn't quite busted out and it became what it was in june skyrocketing when eight center broke out it was a totally organic or was there some like marketing saying cetera that wanda or just people saw their liked and that's funny and that's it it's just may make you laugh in fact what we were doing at the studio type it was the like going to be a huge bombing that we're gonna go straight to video uh... nobody knew what we had jim and i just knew we were laughing a lot we picked a tone that was obviously over the top of the cartoon come alive and it was just basically really funny was kinda like an ode to joy and and people respond solicit about the turned to tell you about what happened with uh... accident and what they're like but i got a bike accent for those who don't know i nearly died had a concussion turned impose concussion syndrome a brutal condition some people commit suicide on at least rubble is it's really very very it challenging and i don't think i was gonna make it and so i simply said this in the last act if this is it the last chapter what i wanted to say i'm a filmmaker do i want to say anything then i decided to make a movie about what i had discovered and to talk to people uh... to see if the principles i had discovered meant anything at all so i talked to some of the leaders uh... you know in different disciplines and said you know let's have a conversation about what's really going on in the world uh... what i've participated in some of the ills and how do we get out of this mess that worked through what happens that that people give city because it dark place in the thing like suicides only way out were what do you spirit we go through well you know it's it's different for different people but it's basically like a computer that no longer functions your brain essentially being a computer takes in stimuli knows what to do with it in northern israel to do with it so these later be very painful any sound would would be like a kind of torture like above the high-pitched sound that for you is just a click in plate for me it was the was deaf so it is a very isolating disease you find people have to check into hotel rooms have to leave their families their socialize behind they have to basically shut the computer down and nothing helps but time and it's the brain is very slow in healing in most cases he can't appeal but it takes a lot of time so you just feel alone and you don't have human interaction i didn't i didn't use a cell phone for three years which actually trial plus but it's a very isolating debilitating disease because it's painful some people have severe headaches i just felt like emergency broadcast system was in my head twenty four hours a day but put that in your head for a minute they would be painful if i said now it's never going to go away you would be you can't become despondent the main question i i want to ask you this what did you discover you asshole is incredibly smart people yeah about life what's essence of life what did you find well you know we have these the reason i believe in these theories in my heart in that intuitive place there were all brothers and sisters that everything's connected all those things but what i didn't know was there was the time of excuse me scientific evidence to back that up from the field of quantum physics to uh... cellular biology uh... to what they're discovering a positive psychology their is a time of scientific evidence to prove that what our state since ages in mystics have intuitive all along is actually the meat in a row of reality to me it's simply is simply semantics i'll use the word god i'm not afraid use word out that i don't believe in the guy with the bearded i've got to me is another word for missed resource like how did it all starts what's making me speak what is that thing right i called is called mystery so you go through the zipper please see in the movie you talk to these incredibly smart people from all these different fields african having gone through this and you get rid of your big houses in your excess and all that stuff in are you happy or not uh... yes absolutely no question that happiness is just a measure of a system working well and i think were designed to work in concert with other people in community uh... in-service to feel part of something greater than ourselves and so i'm doing those things and so consequently yet i'm mike much happier that you it's all good gota hollywood parties are you done with that uh... given a guilty pleasures uh... until i go to hollywood parties by dan recently to a couple hundred party they found out something very very interesting which is these are not interest me because i don't think highways as authentic or interesting so i really don't care about grosses in what movies are making my cousin interest me out like this conversation so now that i've become more of this conversation when i go to hollywood parties this conversation comes to me i think if i stood there in said i write the square footage that i've chosen is right my lifestyle as a right was selling your wrong i don't think my present really responded that's interesting i worked on that trip is a lot of all right your honor reactor exploded project k joshy that great congress anyone really appreciated thanks for having vacation
