I'm a third year biomedical photographic

communications major

and right now we're in the Imaging Systems Lab

which is -- I'm taking a minor

in applied imaging systems

Right now the sequence I'm in is the color management portion of the minor

Behind me you can see

we're copying a painting with a

four by five mounted scanning back called a Betterlight

It's 6,000 by 8,000 pixels, which is 48 megapixels

so we

can get a very accurate reproductions

of the art pieces and be able to enlarge them

and also we have continuous light sources that are

able to

make sure that it captures the whole spectrum

of light

to accurately reproduce the painting
