Not long ago, I saw a news report
of a boy who was thirteen in Tianjin and obsessed with an online game.
One morning, while imitating a scene in the game,
he jumped off a balcony, twenty four stories high, (Oh my! Awful! It's terrible!)
thus ending a living breathing life in the blink of an eye.
What? That's horrible.
What's pitiful is he thought he'd be reincarnated.
What a fool thing!
Satan uses games to harm people.
It's such a cruel trick!

If we're blind to the essence of gaming, entranced by it,
we will be in great danger.
There are many consequences including that death might come knocking.

He cut his own right arm several times.

He not only lost his dream job, he crippled his arm, too.
And just like that, his life was ruined.
It's awful that online gaming has harmed just so many!
I also saw a news report just like that.
There was this fifteen-year-old kid addicted to gaming.
His parents wouldn't give him money for an Internet cafe.
So he waited till they were asleep, took a knife chopped,
and he hacked off their heads.
Oh my. It's so cruel. Incredible.
He acted like nothing happened,
went to the cafe, and played for days.
His parents' corpses were only found when they began to stink.
When I saw this report, it gave me a chill.
Playing online games is utterly horrible!

That is what happens when one is possessed.

It seems online gaming really is dangerous.

My classmate died from gaming.

Eventually,
I developed fasciitis in my right arm and couldn't extend it.
It hurt so badly that I couldn't eat.
The doctor said it was caused by gaming over a long period of time,
and even if cured, it'd easily come back.
Most patients become disabled.
Hearing the doctor's words frightened me.
I thought how I was still so young.
If my arm really became deformed,
how would I get by with just the other? (Indeed.)
I felt terrified.
I thought my life was through.
I had no hope.
I fell into a deep depression.
What happened? (Yeah, what then?)
And then,
my family accepted Almighty God's gospel.
After reading His word,
I realized that gaming is a device for Satan to harm people.

I prayed to God to help me,
but I was too heavily addicted.
When my arm got better,
I couldn't keep myself from gaming again.
As soon as I played, my thoughts emptied,
I neither prayed nor read God's words.
I felt so great while gaming,
but after, my heart felt empty, and I was ashamed.
It was so painful.
I hated myself for lacking any self-control.
And yet still, I would crawl back to play games.
I know what you mean.
In those days,
I constantly struggled with online gaming,
and was subjected to great pain by Satan.

I would pray to God and beg for advice on how to break away from Satan.
Then I read some of Almighty God's words that struck a chord in me.

and wasted my entire life away.
I shudder to think of what could have been.
I think of all those whose obsession with gaming cost them their minds.

Not only are they harmed by evil spirits,
but they also bring great danger to the people around them.

Looking back,
although the fasciitis was caused by Satan,
it led me to believe in Almighty God to being protected and saved by Him.
So there was good with the bad.
