  • Divide the ground meat in half.

  • Hold the half in your palms and shape it into an oval.

  • Then, wrap the cheese with it.

  • Shape it into an oval again

  • and place the patty onto a tray.

  • Repeat the process and now you have 2 hamburg steaks.

  • Now, let's cook the hamburg.

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan.

  • Place the patties into the pan

  • and gently press with your hand.

  • When the other side firms up,

  • change the position of the patties to brown evenly.

  • Cover,

  • reduce the heat to low

  • and brown the other side thoroughly.

  • Now, flip the patties over.

  • Shift the position of the patties again.

  • Make sure to brown the sides of the meat.

  • When both sides are completely browned,

  • pour the water into the pan.

  • Cover and fry the patties for about 8 minutes

  • until the water almost evaporates.

  • Pierce the hamburg with a bamboo stick.

  • If the juices are clear, they are ready to serve.

  • Place the hamburg next to the mixed vegetables onto a plate.

  • Remove the excess oil with a paper towel.

  • Add the packaged demiglace sauce,

  • bouillon broth,

  • soy sauce

  • and apple jam, or ketchup.

  • Turn on the burner

  • and mix the sauce evenly.

  • Bring it to a boil and reduce the sauce

  • until it reaches the desired consistency as shown.

  • Sprinkle on the salt

  • and the pepper to taste.

  • Pour the sauce over the hamburg.

  • Now, it is ready to serve.

  • Using a conventional oven will make the recipe more delicious.

  • and avoid undercooking.
