Rick and Morty. Yes, I've seen a couple episodes. - (screechy gasp) No [bleep] way!! - I have watched every episode, but that doesn't mean I'm the kind of fan you find (chuckling) in the teens. - Oh, okay, I love me some Rick and Morty. This is gonna be good. - (FBE) Here's a selection of scenes from the show. - Let's do it. - Show me what you got. (chuckling) - This is a Meeseeks box. - Ah! (squeakily) "I'm Mr. Meeseeks, look at me!" - (Mr. Meeseeks) I'm Mr. Meeseeks! - (snickering) Mr. Meeseeks. - (Mr. Meeseeks) I'm Mr. Meeseeks! Look at me! - I have that as a ringtone, actually. - (Rick) Mr. Meeseeks, open Jerry's stupid-- - I remember that garage. - (Mr. Meeseeks) Yessiree! - (Rick) So Meeseeks fulfills the request. - We did this in VR. - (Mr. Meeseeks) All done! - (Jerry) Wow! - (Rick) And then it stops existing. (poof) - (Summer) Oh my god, he exploded. - (Rick) Trust me, they're fine with it. Knock yourself out. - That's their whole purpose. (poof) - (Mr. Meeseeks) Hey there, I'm Mr. Meeseeks! - (Jerry) I would like to take two strokes off my golf game. - (Mr. Meeseeks) Ooh, yeah!! Try again and keep-- - Oh, this is a great [bleep] episode. - (Jerry) Mr. Meeseeks, I don't think this is working. I give up. - (Mr. Meeseeks) Let me try something. (poof) - (Mr. Meeseeks #2) Aah! - That's where he [bleep] up. - (Mr. Meeseeks) Hi, Mr. Meeseeks! I'm Mr. Meeseeks. Look at me! - Oh my god. - (Mr. Meeseeks) Can you help me get two strokes up on Jerry's golf-- - The voice is 10 out of 10. - It's crazy that he does half of the voices on this show, Justin Roiland. - (Mr. Meeseeks) We are created to serve a singular purpose for which we will go to any length to fulflil! Existence is pain to a Meeseeks, Jerry! - (cracking up) - (Jerry) Innocent people are going to die because of me. - Because you can't golf. (objects clattering) - (Beth) Jerry, turn around! Straighten your back. Bend your knees. - I love it. (door booming) ♪ (dramatic music) ♪ - (chuckling) (swipe) - (laughing) - Is he gonna do it? He did it! - Oh, it's good. (imitating explosion) - (Mr. Meeseeks) Except that's a lower handicapped stroke! - (cracking up) - It's so dark. It's so good. (poof) - (chuckling) I hope they finally solve the problem. - Mr. Meeseeks is, by far, one of my favorite characters out of the entire series. - I love this show so much. It's hilarious. - (reporter) A giant head has entered Earth's gravity, triggering... - Yeah, this is the Get Schwifty episode. - This is one of the best episodes ever. - (anchorman) Do we know what this giant head wants? - (Giant Head clearing throat) Show me what you got! (explosion) - (chuckling) - (flatly) "Show me what you got." - (Giant Head) I want to see what you got. - (chuckling) - (Rick) Why don't you, uh, find a button on one of those keyboards and lay down some kind of beat. - Oh, this is my friend's favorite episode, though. Is this Get Schwifty? - This is one of my favorite moments of the whole show. ♪ (techno beat playing) ♪ - (Rick) ♪ Oh yeah ♪ ♪ You gotta get schwifty ♪ - (singing along) ♪ You gotta get schwifty ♪ - (General) "Get schwifty"? What the hell is that?! - (man) It's our world's best effort, that's what. - (Rick) ♪ Take off your pants and your panties ♪ - (singing along) ♪ Shit on the floor ♪ - (Rick) ♪ Shit on the floor ♪ - What the [bleep], dude? - (Rick) ♪ It's time to get schwifty ♪ - The first time I heard this song, I was in tears. I've never laughed that hard. - (Rick) ♪ Take your pants off ♪ ♪ It's schwifty time today ♪ ♪ (song concluding) ♪ - It's like if Doctor Who did a lot of drugs. - (Great Head) I like what you got! Good job! (whooshing away) - (chuckling) (cheering) - Okay, sure. - I can't believe that worked. That was the best our planet could do? - It's so ridiculous. I didn't even know what "getting schwifty" is. - I love the weirdness of it. It just reminds me of Doctor Who and Back to the Future, all in one. - (Rick) Here, check this out. - (boy screaming) (panting in fear) - (mother) Roy, what's wrong? - (Roy) I had a-- - Oh, I remember this. - (Roy) ...was with an old man. He put a helmet on me. - (mother) It's just a fever. - (teacher) I want you kids to look around today and think about your future. - Oh, he goes through his whole life having kids and everything. - (announcer) Spiralling perfectly! It's gonna be caught by Roy Parsons! Roy Parsons is at the 20. Now he's at the 10! Nothing can stop Roy the Rocket! - "Roy the Rocket!" - (wife) I just think it's time to get realistic. - (chuckling sympathetically) (phone ringing) - (doctor) Had we caught it sooner... Well, hindsight is 20/20, Roy. What's important is that we move quickly. - Oh jeez. - (Roy, feebly) I'm not ready to die. - This is really sad. - (manager) Hey, Roy, you pulled those Persian off-white shags for the clearance sale? (scuffling feet) (ladder wobbling) - (Roy) Whoa! Sh-- - Such a mediocre life! (cracking up) - (Morty screaming) What the hell?! What-- what-- where am I?! - (Rick) 55 years. Not bad, Morty. - My god! - (Rick) You kind of wasted your 30's though, with that whole bird watching phase. - (laughing) He can just live a whole life? - (Rick) You were just playing a game. It's called "Roy." - (whimpering) That's really disturbing. - It's so dark, and I love it, dude. - Are we in a game right now? (chuckling) Probably are. (robot whirring) - (robot) What is my purpose? - (Rick) Pass the butter. - Oh yes! (laughing) Yes, this is my favorite scene of all time. - I love this [bleep] camera. - (Rick) Thank you. - A butter bot? - (robot) What is my purpose? - (Rick) You pass butter. (robot whirring) - (robot) Oh my god. - (Rick) Yeah, welcome to the club, pal. - (laughing) - (robot) Oh my god. - (Rick) Yeah, welcome to the club, pal. - Same. (chuckling) Same. - (mimicking) "Oh my god." (chuckling) It's one of the best, one of the best scenes. - Everyone wants to just get to their purpose, and then when you find out your purpose is shit, you're like, "Oh [bleep]!" - It's so unique in its own way. It's full of randomness, but every episode kind of has something that you can draw back on. This is an animated cartoon and I'm having an existential crisis after watching this. - (Rick) Huh, looks like something's wrong with the microverse battery. We're gonna have to go inside. Be right back, Summer! Stay put. - Oh, this one, I've seen. - (Rick) Ship, keep Summer safe! - I think this might have been the very first episode of Rick and Morty I ever watched. - (guy) Hey, excuse me? Hello? - No. - (Summer) Um... (playing on phone) (pounding window) What, you think you're better than me?! Nobody's better than me! Hey! - Clearly. (Ship scanning) - Oh snap. (robotic arm whirring) (flesh crumbling) - (Summer shrieking) - Oh! - (cracking up) - (Summer shrieking) - (Ship) Summer safe. - (dude) Hey, man, what the hell?! That was my daughter's pediatrician! - (Summer) No, stop! Don't kill him! (robotic beeping) - (Ship) Confirmed. - The car is psychotic. - (dude) Oh god. I can't feel my legs. - Oh my god. - (dude) I can't feel my legs. - Oh-- tssh. Just paralyzed him. - (Ship) Summer is safe. - (Summer, tearfully) I don't feel safe. - (chuckling) That is my shit. I love it. It's dark humor, dark comedy at it's best. - I can't believe they went there. Of course. - There's a part where she says, "And don't do any physical harm," and then she gives him his dead son. Oh man! - Your imagination can go literally anywhere, and I think that's what Rick and Morty does. It's like they-- I feel like they're all just in a room and they're just like, "All right, what's the most weird plotline that we can come up with today?" - (Morty) You really pulled a rabbit out of your hat this time. I really thought that the whole place was gonna be messed up for good, but here, you did it. - These are all just such good episodes. - (Rick) All right, Morty, thank you very much. I've got one screw turn, and two screw turns, and... (explosion) - (Rick) And... (explosion) - (cracking up) - (Rick) And... (explosion) - (chuckling) Oh my god. - (chuckling) His eyes are just hanging out. - (Rick) Morty, here we are. - (Morty) Oh my god, Rick! Is that us?! W-w-we're dead! - Ooh! - Arguably, this is the episode in which the series really starts. - (Rick) It's fine. Everything is fine. There's an infinite number of realities, Morty. - Oh yeah, I forgot about this. - (Rick) And in a few dozen of those, I got lucky and turned everything back to normal. - A little string theory? This is a good show. - (Rick) Now help me with these bodies. - (Morty) This is insane! - I feel so bad for Morty. - I was so shocked the first time I saw this. ♪ (somber music) ♪ - Oh my god. - (cracking up) It's just sick. - Imagine having to bury your own body. - Another great thing about this show is continuity because they do this, and then they reference it way later. - That made me have an image of me, burying my own dead body. I don't like that. - There's not enough compliments I can give this show. It's just so good. - (FBE) So now we have a clip from the season three surprise premier from April 1st. - Oh! Surprise for me? Okay. - The first episode on April Fools Day. I thought I was being fooled. "I gotta have my Szechuan sauce, Morty!" - (cashier) Welcome to McDonald's-- - YES!! - (cashier) Welcome to McDonald's, can I take your order? - Szechuan sauce. - (Rick) ...McNugget and, uh, a bunch of the Szechuan sauce. - The Szechuan sauce. This started a whole thing. - (Rick) In 1998, they had this promotion for the Disney film Mulan, where they-- where they-- they created a new sauce for the McNuggets called Szechuan sauce. And it's delicious! And then they got rid of it. - This is hilarious. This was so hilarious. - And now it's gone. It's the only place we're gonna be able to try it, is in my memory. - (Cornvelious) Wow, this sauce is [bleep] amazing. This sauce is [bleep] amazing. - (cracking up) - (Rick) I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty! That's my series arc, Morty! - (laughing) This is the best. - (Rick) That's my series arc, Morty! - "My series arc." (chuckling) - (Rick) If it takes nine seasons... - That's it. - (Rick) ...I want my McNugget dipping sauce! - That's his goal. That is what pushes him. It's just, "I need my Szechuan sauce, Morty!" - I want that sauce too. What the heck? - I want to go home and watch it now. It's so good. - It's the best cartoon on television right now. I think they're in their stride right now. - It's dark, but also a lot of it's very intelligent. Because it is a cartoon, they can do weird, disturbing things and it can still be okay to watch. - This show is, like, 10 out of 10. I don't know how else to describe it. - (FBE) So recently, you played the entire Rick and Morty VR game on the React channel. - Yeah. It was amazing. - That was really fun. - Oh, Mr. Meeseeks! - This is weird. I don't like that thing. - He gave me weapon arms. - Get some! - We need laxatives? Laxatives?! - Oh, explosive diarrhea. - (Rick) I'm gonna have to kill you again. Hold still. - Okay. I don't mind dying. - All the little random things that we were doing in the game, it makes you just feel so a part of an amazing universe. - They did a really, really good job. If you're a fan of the show, you should definitely, definitely check out the VR game. - (FBE) So that was Rick and Morty. - Yeah! Oh, [bleep] yeah! I was... (deep sigh) so happy! - (FBE) Tell us your thoughts about this show. - I think it's so cool and so clever and I really want to keep up with the episodes. It makes you ask a lot of questions about existence in a very funny, weird way, and you wouldn't expect to have that happen from an animated show. - I just loved it from the beginning. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, and Back to the Future films, and so putting those two together is just-- is what makes me love it. - Rick and Morty is such a fantastic show. There's so much more to the show then just burps and curse words, you know? It's so good. - At first, I wasn't into it. It was almost like everyone was too in love with it, and then you start watching it and you're like, "This is so good." - The art style, I've always enjoyed it a lot. You look at different worlds and universes and all these places that they go to, and it's like-- it's visually pleasing. - The genius is in the writing, and just in the comedy. They go all over the place with it and it's really good. And, on top of that, they have continuity, so if something happens, it happened. - It never feels like they're jumping the shark. I mean, there's always good, continuous flow. You expect them to have adventures of the same theme and format, but it never seems too weird, although it's different all the time. - Rick and Morty is really smart. The thought process behind some of the concepts in the show, they deal with time travel and multiple universes. It's just so snappy and so hilarious and... Yeah, one of my favorite shows. - (FBE) So Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the show, who voices both Rick and Morty-- - I heard that. I think that's so impressive. - His voice acting skills are so insane because you'll watch an episode and realize that half of the characters in the entire episode, Justin did. - (FBE) So as we wrap up, what do you want to say to Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon and the creative team behind Rick and Morty as it's about to come back for season three? - We need more Szechuan sauce. And Meeseeks! Oh my god, we need Mr. Meeseeks! - Try to cross the line even more. This is your chance to really make a show draw the new line of where humor can really be. - You guys are amazing. I didn't realize I needed that show until you made said show, and for that, I truly thank you guys, and I can't wait to see what season three has. - Thank you for creating this show. A lot of us fans just love it and just-- I mean, the waiting kind of sucks, but the wait is always worth it. - I don't want to push you guys and be like, "Where are the episodes," because I know it takes a long time to produce these things, but you guys-- you know, quality over quantity, so keep it up. Good job. Looking forward to season three. - Guys, keep it up. Every single day that season three isn't released, I feel pain.
