the thing that actually surprise me in Taiwan

台灣讓我很驚訝的第一件事

is the...

是

AIR!

空氣!

when we landed

我們抵台後

because the air has a strong, strong, strong smell of food

我在空氣中聞到了濃濃的食物味

OF FOOOOOD

食物!!!!

that's the first thing that actually surprised me there

這是我以前沒體驗過，也是讓我很驚訝的

and also the food itself

當然還有食物本身

because the food is so different than Polish food

因為吃起來跟波蘭食物太不一樣了

the first place we went to was that night market, right?

第一個去的地方就是夜市對吧

恩，夜市

what did you eat there?

你去夜市吃什麼？

everything on the stick

都是插在叉子上的

BBQ

烤肉

one stick of one piece of meat stick onto it

一串肉

is like one złoty

大概10塊台幣

very cheap

很便宜

so many choices

又很多選擇

and it's super tasty

又超好吃

the thing that surprised me is

他試了棒子上食物，很享受

when you order the food in Taiwanese restaurant

因為他喜歡棒子

they don't give you the menu exactly

另外讓我驚訝的是

you just have the paper

當你去台灣的餐廳點餐時

with the choice

他們不會只給你菜單

yea with the choice

你會拿到一張紙

and you just...

有選項在上面

you just write down how much you want

就是點菜單啦

of this, this, this, and that

你只要

so just imagine your normal menu

寫下你哪樣菜要多少份

but

要這個，這個，跟那個

you have extra box in the front

你就想像一般的菜單

so you can choose

只是

for example

前面有幾個空格

I want onion soup, 2 of them

你可以勾選

I want chicken soup, 3 of them

譬如說

and after you make the choice

我要2份洋蔥湯

you just give it back to the waitress

還要3份雞湯

and then they'll prepare the food

你選完要點什麼之後

the difference of the way we eat and you eat

就拿給服務生結帳

Western people you tend to have a set

他們就會幫你做了

for individual person

我們跟你們吃飯習慣不一樣的地方是

but we focus on the idea of sharing food

西方人通常就愛吃套餐

so we always like to order

一個套餐就是給一個人吃

a plate of vege, a plate of meat, a plate of tofu

但對我們來講，吃飯重點在於分享

a plate of something else

所以我們點餐

that's why people are sharing food in Taiwan

就是一份青菜，一份肉，一份豆腐之類

here for example, in Poland

一盤什麼東西

I guess in Europe

這就是為何我們喜歡一起分享食物

it's just like this

譬如說在波蘭

we just have one plate of food

我猜歐洲都是這樣

every of them for each person

就是

and we're just eating from that plate

我們一人一盤食物

only in the venue like Christmas dinner

每一盤都是給每一個人的

more similar to that

我們就是專吃那盤而已

it's just we do it daily

只有像在聖誕節大餐那種場合

so on the other day, we brought him to the mountain in Nantou

才會分食物吧

people say you can see the view of 7 cities

跟那滿像的只是我們是每天都這樣吃

it's the bridge, do you like it?

總而言之，另外一天我們到了南投山上

yes

人家說我們去的那裏號稱可看到7縣市風景

and now I can do it?

這是吊橋，喜歡嗎

這有時間限制的

we straight away went to the restaurant

蛤 是哦

which is exactly in the same mountain

我就知道

so we can see the night view there

去完吊橋之後

it's pretty popular in Taiwan to have this kind of...

我們就直接前往餐廳

we call it "View Restaurant"

其實就在同座山

because they like to build the restaurant in the weird...mountain

就是打算去看夜景的

weird place

在台灣還滿流行

it's really high, so you can see the whole city

開景觀餐廳

or like another city there

就特別愛開在山上阿或是些特殊地方

very amazing

奇怪的地方

we're in the mountains

開在很高的地方，然後你可以看到整片風景這樣

with my parents

或是可以看到外縣市

and my sister

很美

and right now we're waiting for the seat

我們在山上

but it's a really nice place and we're going down

跟我爸媽

and look at this

還有我妹

it's just beautiful

現在我們在等位子

don't you think so?

不過這裡真的很美，所以我們要往下走

I mean the colors and everything

and it's the jungle everywhere

好美

there are pigs and snakes

你不覺得嗎

and parrots who can say goodbye and hello

我是說這整個顏色跟擺飾

he's the gingerman

然後有種身處叢林的感覺

I think it's like a duck

這邊還有迷你豬跟黃金蟒

omg omg

還有會說哈囉跟拜拜的鸚鵡

這應該是...鴨子吧

還有整個餐廳就坐落於這裡

we were just taking the schooter there

總而言之

this is the point as well

下一站

就是去買電腦啦

and this is AMAZING

我們騎了機車去的哦

omg

這也是重點

that was a heaven for me, really

然後呢？

because Taiwan has so many motorcycles going on

超好玩的！

so many cars around

天啊

and so many people at the same time on the street

跟天堂一樣真的

so...it feels like...

因為台灣有好多機車

it's really scary

又有好多汽車在旁邊開

we even fell down a bit

同時又有好多行人在路上

not fall down

所以

it's that I almost crush a girl

感覺很恐怖

yea because she can't drive that well

我們還差點摔倒

no, I can....

才不是摔倒勒

driving around through all these people

是差點跟一個女生撞到啦

in such a nice semi-tropical country

因為她不太會騎車

that was really a beautiful moment for me

才怪，我會好嗎

that's really nice

騎在機車上穿越人群

it's the place which sell so many different kinds of computer

又在這樣美好的亞熱帶國家

and all kinds of devices

真的是很美的一個記憶

even those accessories

好棒

they have very nice staff

這是賣各種電腦的3C商場

it's good?

什麼都有

yea, I like it

配件也有

in Taiwan

還有很友善的店員

mall is not that wide

喜歡嗎？

it's tall

恩，喜歡

because there is not so much space

在台灣阿

they have something like a tower

百貨公司佔地沒那麼廣

which is even better

但是樓很高

I mean for me it's more awesome

因為台灣地比較小嘛

because you can explore so many floors

所以百貨公司就是在高樓裡

Taiwan has so many things

其實這樣更好

connected to some kind of business around

我是說對我來說更好

so you just go

因為你可以一層層探索

for me as a stranger

I don't even know where to go and find something

台灣有很多很多

because there are so many things

跟生意有關連的地方

and here is obvious

你一出門就有好多地方逛

there is a gallery, I know what I'm going to find

身為一個外國人

but there (Taiwan) has so many of them

我還真不知要去哪買東西

it's like, generally in Asia

因為店好多

it' easy to start a business there

因為在波蘭很明顯的

so everybody can start their own business

那裏就是一個商場， 我只要進去就可以買到東西了

my mom used to have restaurant

不過在台灣店就很散也很多

and my neighbor used to have a drinks shop

因為在亞洲

so every shop is just right next to each other

能夠做個小生意識是滿容易的

people are even making business in their house

所以大家都會自己當生意人

so there is home

我媽之前就開餐廳

which is already the restaurant

我鄰居之前就開了飲料店

another home

所以每間店都是相鄰的

which is the dentist

大家甚至直接把自宅當成店面用

so that's the thing we are talking about

所以有時候當你看到一間房

it's very convenient

有時你就會同時看到餐廳

if you live in Asia

另外一個住宅

because you can just buy everything on the same street

可能就又改成是牙醫診所

you don't need to specifically go to....

這也是我們在說的

the shopping mall to buy your stuff

便利性
