because lots of people are asking

因為很多人都在問說

how do we learn English

我們是怎麼學英文的

and how to improve your own English

還有就是要如何改進自己的英語能力

I wouldn't say my English is good

我不能說我英文很好

oh mine is horrible

我英文更爛

more about Sansan

這集比較在講Sansan啦

she has better accent

她的口音比較好

she speaks better, more fluent

她英文比較好，比較流暢

more fluent...

比較流暢...

but totally far away from native

不過跟英語母語者還是差很遠

but still I would like to share with people

但是！我還是想要跟大家分享

for people who would like to learn English

尤其是對於想要認真學英文的朋友們

and for people who would like to improve their English

還有那些想要增進英語能力的朋友們

I can also say something about that

我也可以分享一下

because at least I can communicate in English...

至少我可以用英文溝通...

it's sad that you can't communicate with people in English

其實不能用英語溝通是滿傷心的一件事

because you lose lots of oppurtunities

你會錯失很多機會

to learn more new things

去學更多事物

for me, I would rather say

對我來說

the best way to learn English

學英文的最好途徑

is to communicate with native speakers

就是跟母語者聊天

or with people who speak English

或是跟任何人用英文對話

exactly

沒錯

just communicate with people

就是聊天就對了

do not care about the grammar itself

不要太過度在乎文法這部分

of course when you learn those basic grammar at school

當然，你在學校學的文法也很重要

it's helping you to compose the sentences

這些會幫助你組成對話的句子

of course yes, you need that

當然，這是一定要的

you need that for sure

but we always make fun of our own textbook

不過我們常常在開學校教科書的玩笑

and people are following this kind of

所以學生們就會遵循著這種的

conversation

that you suppose to say something

告訴你，在這種情況下你要這樣回答

when people ask you something

當別人這樣問你時

and it's actually limiting your imagination

但這其實侷限了你的想像空間

limiting your ability to speak more

也侷限了你的語言能力

Western guys' habit is to ask

西方人最愛的開場白就是：

Hey how are you today?

嘿你今天過得怎麼樣呀？

and I feel kind of awkward when people ask me that

他們這樣問我時，我常覺得很尷尬

because I never know what to say

因為我不知道要怎麼回答

another thing is that people are shy as well

另外，我覺得大家普遍很害羞

people are too shy to say something in English

太害羞了，以致不敢開口講英文

because they think they gonna make some mistake

因為他們覺得自己在講英文時

whil speaking n English

犯太多錯誤

I just find it very ridiculous

我覺得這是很扯的一件事

because

因為

even I as a Polish person

身為一個波蘭人

when someone communicate with me in Polish

當我聽到有人在講波蘭文

but they are...for example

但發現他是

Asian or someone

亞洲人，或是任何外國人

they make lots of mistakes

他們或許在講的時候會有很多文法錯誤

but I am ok with that

但是我覺得這很ok

because that's not their native language

因為我很清楚這不是他們的母語

first of all

這是第一件事

and the second of all

第二

even Polish people have problem with this language

連波蘭人講波蘭文都有問題了

even we make mistakes

所以又怎能對外國人苛求?

so you shouldn't be shy, you should just speak up

所以不要害羞，勇敢發聲就對了

also from my experience

另外還有我之前經驗

for example my previous job

我前份工作

I was just selling something

是賣東西的

I met lots of people from abroad

我遇到很多外國客人

and also American

包括美國人

and British

英國人

they even told me like

他們常跟我說

I will be speaking to you slower

我會講慢一點

so you will understand me

這樣你就聽得懂我在說什麼了

they are really polite

這些英語母語者非常友善

and if you don't know how to say a word

甚至如果你真的不知道怎麼講一個單字

so just explain this word

就換句話說來解釋這個詞

that's what I am doing

這就是我的方法

for example

舉例來說

I don't know the word "cellphone"

我不會講cellphone （電話）

so I'm just saying

我就可以解釋說

this is the thing you use to dial numbers

這就是你拿來撥電話

you make a conversation

來講電話的器具

and then they will understand

然後他們就會知道你在講什麼

then they will say this word out

進而告訴你這單字怎麼講

exactly

沒錯！

that's also the way I learn things

這也是我學習的方法之一

because sometimes Polish are similar to English

因為其實有時候波蘭文跟英文很雷同

like lots of vocabularies

我是指單字方面

sometimes this word is extremely hard

有時候有個單字明明就超級無敵難

and I was like

我就會很困惑

What is this?

這什麼詞...

and he just know that

然後他就是一副：你不知道這詞?!

so he's describing it in a different way to me

然後他就開始跟我換句話說地解釋

and then in this case, I will learn it

過一下我就懂了

because in Polish, if it's an extreme word

因為波蘭文，在很難的單字

like very advance one

像是在講很進階的單字時

they actually sound pretty similar (to English)

跟英文其實聽起來滿像的

for example..

譬如說

mythology

mythology （神話）

it's "mitologia" in Polish

波蘭文是mitologia

the conclusion for this part

這部分的結論呢

is that

就是

you shouldn't be afraid of your own English ability

你不要害怕講英文

your oral...

你的口...說

you shouldn't be afraid of your own speaking ability

你不要害怕秀自己的口說能力

you should just...

你應該

speak up

多練習！

also another method

還有另外一個方法

is that you can practice to think

就是你可以練習

about everything in English

用英文思考

because of course

因為

when you're speaking in your own mother language

當然當你都用母語對話時

if you're speaking in Chinese

譬如你平常都講中文

so you'll...of course...

自然而然的

processing everything in Chinese

你會用中文思考

and think, talk to yourself in Chinese

用中文自言自語

so what I was doing

所以我之前

when I was in Taiwan

還在台灣時

when I'm alone

我獨處時

I'm just talking to myself in English

就會用英文跟自己對話

I like to murmur

我喜歡用英文自言自語

and talk about things

或是談論我看見的事情

or just listen to something in English

或者你可以多聽些英文

listen to the radio in English

像是英文電台

there are a lot of free application online

現在線上都可以下載免費英文電台

and TV in English

或是看英文電視

watch with subtitles

當然加上字幕會很有幫助

and also music

還有就是音樂

you listen to the music that you like

你就去聽你喜歡的音樂

and then you read the lyrics

之後來讀歌詞

and of course there might be some words that you don't know

當然一定會找到些你不懂的單字

this really helps you!

對，這很有用

like living with another English speaking person

再來就是跟講英文的人住一起

like this one, for example

像這一位

I already have dreams in English

像我現在連作夢都會講英文

I think in English

我用英文思考

like, I'm going to the shop

譬如說，我去買東西時

I'm thiking in English, processing in English

我會用英文想事情

like what I want to buy

想說我要買什麼

I even have some problems

我甚至還發生過

that someone asks me something

店員用問我問題

in Polish

講波蘭文

and then I replied him in English

結果我下意識回他英文

even when she is not around

而且San根本不在那裏

because my language is messed up smetimes

有時候我的語言已經混合在一起了

about watching TV Series

還有就是關於看電視影集

anf file

還有電影

it's helping you very, very fast

真的可以很快地看見成效

because you watch with subtitles

因為當你看英語發音，配上字幕時

so you know what they are talking about

你就完全可以知道他們在講什麼

and then you'll pick up this word very fastly

你可以很快吸收單字

because you can't rememberr how this looks like

就算你無法完全抓住其中的一些詞

or sounds like

或是不太確定他如何發音

you can still search online

這些都很容易在網路上查到

so it's very easy for you to pick

這是很快的一個速成法

and you'll know how to use this word in th real conversation

況且這樣你也可以知道要如何在真實對話中用這些單字

so it's cool, I was doing it

很酷，我以前都這樣做

hum this word, and I was like:

我會看說，哦這對我來說是新單字

speaking after the actor & actress

我就會跟著電視裡的演員唸

in TV

重複唸

also what you can do

還有你也可以試試

to understand more words

如果你想要有更多單字量

like for example

譬如說

your English is flent

你英文已經很流暢

but you would like to understand more words

但是你想要學更多單字

so you can daily write down

你可以每天都書寫

for example, 5 words to learn

譬如，一天找5個新單字把它寫下來

just for one day

一天5個

imagine after 1 week

你就想說一個禮拜後

you will learn 7x5

你就學了7乘5

which is 35 words!

35個新單字了耶！

already! after 1 week

很多吧，一周內

it's cool / 35 new words

酷

it was my problem during my whole study

其實這就是我以前讀書時的問題

that I can't memorize the vocabularies that well

我超不會背單字....

so I always fucked up the exam

所以每次考試都考很爛

so the best way is to..

所以啦，學英文最好的方法就是

chat with people

跟別人用英文聊天！

or chat with yourself

或是跟自己用英文聊天

you know, skype is everywhere

你知道，skype是全球性的

there are even some forums

或是你甚至可以上網找一些論壇

you can pick up random people to chat with them

可以認識各國新朋友，跟他們聊天

don't use Chaturette

但不要用Chaturette （一個網路聊天室）
