Uber just purposely lies to its new drivers.

Okay?

Now, I'm just making this video

because I'm just pissed off.

I'm no longer a UberX driver.

It's just something I no longer wanna do.

I don't wanna be on a string anymore.

I feel that Uber just has me on a string.

Like they play with prices.

One day I make $300, next day I make $75,

the next day I make $92.

Like, it's just annoying, you know?

It's very up and down.

And I've been a driver for more than two years

and I'm just over it.

But this is what really pisses me off right here.

Right now, in the Bay Area.

Okay guys, this is what Uber is doing now.

You see this map here?

Well, if you look right here,

this is the San Francisco airport, okay?

Now, there's an agreement with Uber and the airport,

so the airport never surges, okay?

You will never pick up a surge ride from the airport.

But if you look closely at this map,

the area around the airport is surging, okay?

If you're a new driver, if you don't know the ropes,

if you don't know how to play this game properly,

what's gonna happen is you're gonna go down there

and you're gonna think, "Oh, I can get a 5.8."

And you know what?

You won't get a 5.8.

You're gonna get a regular fare from the airport,

because the airport has an agreement

with Uber that they will not surge at the airport, okay?

That's a 5.6 surge.

Now here's another one.

This is a eight x surge, okay?

Now the airport does not surge.

This is the area near the airport.

So what they're doing is they're

getting drivers, new drivers, from all over the Bay,

to come to the airport and pick up

because there's so many drivers now that are offline.

There are so many drivers that are waking up

and they are figuring out that

this is the biggest scam that they've

ever signed up for in their life, okay?

There are a lot of people out

that are just not driving anymore

and I give it up to you guys.

I'm not doing it either myself.

Uber owes me money for my links

in my Youtube videos that I've never gotten paid for

and I am not gonna promote this company anymore.

I do not wanna make anymore Uber videos.

I will probably make a few more videos to help people,

but I do not wanna promote Uber anymore.

It's just downright dirty.

It's cruel, you know.

I still will do UberRUSH, because it's totally different.

I'm gonna do UberRUSH until they end the hourly guarantee.

Soon as they do that, I'm off the platform.

But anyway, guys.

Just, what do you guys think about this?

I mean, I know there's a lot of new

drivers out watching this video.

How would you feel if you saw a surge that was eight x

and it was a trick?

You know, you're thinking,

"Oh, I'm gonna get an eight x surge.

"I'm gonna make decent money."

But no.

You're not even gonna get a two x surge.

You're gonna get a no surge.

Because I'll tell you something about this area.

I'll tell you something about this area of San Francisco.

People that live down here, they're not gonna pay eight x.

No.

People that live way down here in Hillsborough,

they will, because Hillsborough is really expensive,

but people in Hillsborough, they don't have to take UberX,

you know?

They can probably got their own drivers.

It's very, very expensive down here.

But it's this area here where they surge,

just near the airport.

I'll show you here too a little more on this map.

The airport's just right here

and they're surging all the way around there.

So if you're a new driver, that's how they can trick you.

They can get you to drive all the way up from San Jose

or they can get you to drive, you know, from San Francisco,

or they can get you to drive from Oakland,

because you gotta think,

when people go recruit drivers,

drivers live in all sorts of, they live all over the Bay,

so it's just another trick that Uber's

doing to make more money for themselves

and make sure drivers make less money.

Okay?

Alright, not I'm not saying you guys should go quit.

I'm not saying that you guys should,

you know, go start a riot.

I'm just making this video to throw that out there,

that Uber is tricking drivers.
