I feel like people here are a bit more… Hey guys! This is Cathy Cat! “What’s the thing that surprised you the most 嗨! 「你在日本 when you came to Japan?” That’s a question I am gonna ask a couple of 感到最驚訝的事是甚麼呢?」接下來我要問一些 foreigners who are around here so let’s see what they gotta say! What was the thing that surprised you the most. Where you were like 像是說 “Whoa that’s strange! That’s weird? That’s …” The toilets! I can’t use them! What do all the buttons mean?! And there is music playing. That’s really bizarre! Couldn’t cope with that. But someone offered Chloe an umbrella last night when it was raining. Like a guy just gave her it, which was so nice. That shocked me. 我嚇到了 – I think this street. – This street? Yeah, cause I came here on the weekend. It was super busy at that time, I couldn’t even move. There was like a river of people. So that was a big shock for me. How safe it was! I mean, I feel like I could sleep on the street, honestly! I don’t feel… and … And people don’t like STARE at me here, you know. In Korea and Taiwan I get a lot of stares, but in Japan it’s like really welcoming. As I say. It’s my first time here so everything is like “Whoa! No way!” – Maybe the toilets? – Maybe okay. Maybe a little bit. – The electronic one, 廁所嗎? 電子感應式的廁所 that you have so many options to choose from, you know. Very complicated. I think we’re just shell-shocked getting off the airplane but erm… Nothing’s really blown me away. I really like all the kids dressed up all crazy. I have never seen anything like that, specifically in America. I look at it like the counterculture movement like punk rock Something like that, I don’t know. – Yeah, get it! Well, where we live it’s very casual, beach town. So here everyone’s dressed up fancy, and just to walk around the streets so 這裡的人很精心地打扮,在街上來來回回 that’s a big difference. But it’s so clean, so nice, so beautiful. I’m happy to be here. The vending machines, there is just vending machines everywhere! – Food everywhere! – EVERYWHERE! Cat Café! Cat Café was good. Anything else you can think of that surprised you? I like the difference. You come here and it’s so crazy and busy. And then 城鄉的不同吧。來到這一切都是瘋狂與忙碌 we went to Takayama, which was so rural, peaceful and quiet. 之前在高山市,倒是一個很寧靜的鄉下地方 – It’s got a lot of everything, which is good. – So clean! Melbourne is like a hole. It’s so clean, I can’t believe it. Obviously, there is like the Cat Café’s and stuff. They’re all a bit… 像是貓咪咖啡 yeah, the café culure. – I like the hot springs like… Obviously, we didn’t know at first that in the Onsen we would have to be naked. In England like, you would never really think of that. It was really cool though. Everyone is just really chilled out about it and it’s just … and you think that you are 每個人都處之泰然,而我覺得 gonna be feeling really uncomfortable, but it’s actually fine. Everyone just minds their own business and they are really cool. I feel like people here are a bit more relaxed compared to America I wanna say. America, they’re very timely and it’s like “We have to do this, this, this…” – In Japan I feel like they are a little bit more relaxed. – Thank you very much! Looks like one of the things most of the people we’re surprised about are 看起來,其中讓大多數人感到驚訝的是 actually the toilets that you can find here in Japan. They are very, very high-class and technical, 在日本你能看到的廁所,真的是高級、高科技 or not so. Depending on where you go. Also hot springs… that you have to go nudie in there and lots of other things.
