Glamorous!

So, recently we put up a video about Taylor Swift and how popular she is world wide.

But, I don't think a lot of people know about other influential young twenties, actresses in America.

Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, like classic stars. But you know, again, that glamorous title?

But I think celebrities like Julia Roberts, who are more personable and less about the

hype of hollywood have been coming out. Definitely. Definitely with the stars that

are really popular amongst the younger generation now. I mean, first, we have Emma Watson, who,

I mean, everyone knows thanks to Harry Potter.

Emma Watson is very outspoken, very...normal.

I mean, beautiful, but normal in that aspect. She went to university and she has a facebook

and everything you know. Yea, she's very personable. I think that she's

one of the young stars today that could be seen as a good role model, not just a star.

Definitely. Definitely. Outspoken, strong. Very strong. Very smart.

Another star that's on the rise thanks to the Hunger Games is Jennifer Lawrence.

That's right. A strong female character. The Hunger Games was really popular in Japan

but it doesn't seem like Jennifer Lawrence is that popular in Japan?

I wonder why? I don't know.

But she's extremely popular in America. She's down to earth, she's funny. Honest.

Well again, because people follow her twitter, her social media, they see that, they actually

get to connect to her real personality. Which, again, like you said, is down to earth, sarcastic,

Oh, so sarcastic And witty. She's definitely one those people

who are showing herself as she is as opposed to living up to the image of a high class diva.

Like, oh I wear this brand and I always have to look perfect.

The next star that I'd like to mention is

Anna Kendrick. Another girl who is a little bit off beat. Who has her own kind of style

and is not afraid to show it. Not at all. I like Anna Kendrick a lot.

She says things that are really relatable to anyone.

And she's just, she loves Taco Bell.

A billion points for liking Taco Bell! You know, this is kind of the theme, we kind

of like these actresses that are funky and kind of weird.

The last person that I would like to mention is Aubrey Plaza. She's definitely one of the

young stars on the rise and she herself has admitted to be awkward. And if you watch any

of her interviews, she is...she is pretty awesomely strange.

You know how you have some actors that are really really expressive? She's like the opposite,

but at the same time she does send a different message. It's like the 'I'm uncomfortable, but

I'm going to bear with it.' And I think a lot of teenagers and young adults can relate

to that feeling. And! You know what's great?

So, I mean, the reason why we're also bringing this up is, this is another side of hollywood that is growing and not usually focused on.

If you look at the glamour and the teen magazines, it's always about celebrity gossip. And that's ok,

it's entertaining and there's a reason why people look at it. But I can see the shift in main stream media.

It's all just about the appearance and the idea of what a celebrity should be.

Whereas, these young stars are more about what a person should be, or should try to strive to be.

So those are kind of the two groups in hollywood right now.

You have the idea of the high-diva lifestyle. And then the down to earth, personable group.
