First of all, what are you looking forward to the fans seeing in this one?

I haven't seen it yet so I don't know. There was a cast and crew screening last night,

I think I was the only one who wasn't there. I had to do something else, so.

- Slacking! - It's all kinda news to me.

Yeah I know, so I don't know what to expect really. I don't think it ends well for my

character, but that's about all I know.

What for you was the biggest challenge shooting this one?

There was a lot of stuff; I mean we were out there for a year and a half, it was a tough

shoot. It was a lot of fun but it was a long venture, you know, far away from home, away from

family and friends, that was always difficult but, you know, it was so much fun over there, the world Peter

creates in Middle Earth is quite special, so, it feels a privilege to be part of.

What will you most miss about it now you've wrapped it all up?

I'll miss my friends, you know, the guys, they live on the other side of the world a

lot of them, so it's not easy to jump on a plane and see them quickly. So, yeah, everyone

I met over there, I miss the whole team really.

Obviously a strong message in this that gold can make you turn evil. Do you think money

can make you happy?

Yeah, totally, big time.

How?

Dunno. Dunno, different for everybody. But if you have that much gold like Smaug, you're

gonna be happy though aren't ya?

What would you spend it on if you had that much gold?

Presumably I don't, is it? I dunno, I dunno. I dunno.
