That was really dorky. Hey guys it's Cara and today I wanna talk to you guys about

finals so I recently finished up my final exams for freshman year about a

week ago

I'm really glad they're over because they were um

very stressful and chaotic there are a few

few crazy mishap been happening and I wanted to talk to you guys about

so today's video going to be pretty casual just like a sit down chit chat

session for my school we have a week dedicated to finals where there are no

classes at all

it's just all finals and a lot of people are spending time the library

I was supposed to have two finals on the same day

I'll one from 9 to 12 another from 2 to 5

and I was just not feeling that. That sounded dreadful so I was able to talk to a teacher

and move one of my finals to the beginning a weekend instead of the end of the weekI

I did that, everything worked out with that, but then

Friday came around which was the day I was supposed to have those two exams

and I must have gotten in time switched

I was completely convinced that I had this one test

my Italian exam at two. It was going to be

two to five. I'd been telling myself that all week

on the day of that exam that Friday morning took my time got ready I went to

breakfast by myself and was studying a little bit more

then I went to the library. So I was on the computer

getting ready to study and I was procrastinating and per usual so I

decided to check my email

and by this time it is 1030

I in the morning a check my email

I check my email from my teacher whose exam I have that day

saying "where are you?"

where are you the exam has started and I don't see you there, are you alright

and I freak our

you know that feeling when something horrible happened or you feel like

something horrible happened and your stomach just drops

every single feeling in you is wiped clean and you feel like a hollow shell

I was just horrified because in college

you don't get a makeup time if you're not there for you exam, you get and 0

it was freaking out because the exam is from 9 to 12 meaning

that if I were to somehow teleport to that very building at this very moment I

would still only have an hour and a half to complete that exam

so I packed myself up the library and walking out there really quickly

as soon as I got a library I called my mom using quite a bit of profanity and I'm

good

switch the words out and you could probably be here and I was like

mom I screwed up I screwed up I got the times wrong for the test they screwed up

and so... I shouldn't be laughing at this this isn't funny

it was horrible I hopped onto a bus went over to the other campus where the test

was being taken

but then the story's does not end

because I didn't know a building I was going to

the building that the test was being taken in was Old Chem

and so I wasn't entirely familiar with that name

but I knew the chemistry building so I went over there it's very far away

I and so whenever I got on to the other campus

I took my shoes off said it was raining out times that which is added to the

drama

it's slippery so if I try to walk fast I slip. So I took my shoes off

and I ran with the bag on my shoulders and like not really running clothes at all

I ran up all the way over to the building

which is like up multiple Hills ran all the way up there

I was breathing really heavy and I couldn't find

the room so I went to the help desk like you guys have room 116 whereas room 116

They're like "we don't have a room 116"

I'm like "this is the Old Chem building right?"

she's like oh no no no this is Gross Chem, honey

really

really really... why do we need two chemistry buildings?

okay well then where's Old Chem and they're like oh it's on the other side of campus

really really where I just ran from. really?

I'm sweating at this point and I'm breathing heavily I just ran up a hill

probably like a quarter mile running and so I have to run

back to where I just came from off the bus I took off my shoes again and

started running up that hill in the rain

I was finally able to find the building by then I only had a one hour to finish

the task it was already 11

the test ends at 12, but I was

able to finish it I just worked really quickly probably didn't do as well

as I could've

but I was still able to finish it and it didn't impact my grade so

but it was so stressful

but I learned my lesson now so in the future I'm going to check my emails

repeatedly to make sure that the date that I have in my head is the actual

date and I know

where the building is. I rewarded myself with a lot of chocolate after that

but it's over with and so that was finals. my advice to you guys

make sure you know where the building is because it's not going to be always be

where you have your class. also make sure you know what time it is this to be

at

and make sure you study. all those things very helpful to know but yeah that's my

my story of my finals scare

I'm so glad that I checked my email when I did imagined if checked it at

noon and then I'd be so screwed I would've miss my final on
