I like love and friendship and happiness. But it's 那些有關爭議的影片。我喜歡有愛和友誼還有幸福之類的 time for a bit of an educational rant because I just cannot take it anymore 但這次是有關教育性呼籲,因為我不能再忍受了 and it's a range from people who think organic rice krispies treats are better 這些範圍從有些人認為有機的米果比較好 (註:Rice Krispies是家樂氏出品的一種麥片) to thinking that you have to eat 100% organic to be healthy. Healthy is 到有些人說你必須吃得百分之百有機才會健康。健康是 relative term and organic might not fit into everyone's life style and that's ok. 一個相對性的詞,有機可能不見得符合每個人的生活形式,但也沒關係 So let's talk about a few myths. Now I could literally give you an essay on 那我們就來談談一些迷思。我其實每個迷思都可以給你 each of these but I want to make it a digestible video so please if I miss a 一整篇的論文,但我想要讓這支影片對觀眾而言好消化,所以如果我有 note that you think is important 漏掉一些重點而你認為那很重要的 feel free to tactfully share it in the comments below. So first up is organic 歡迎在下面留言部分分享。所以第一個是 food is pesticide free. If food is labeled 100% organic that means if it is meat, 有機食物都沒有灑農藥。假如食物上有標示100%有機食品,代表著如果是肉類、 eggs, or dairy it is free of antibiotics and growth hormones. If it is prouduce 蛋類或乳製品,便沒有使用抗生素及生長激素。如果是農產品 it's grown with fertilizers and free of synthetic components and is non GMO. But 那就是使用肥料,不使用合成物質而且不是基改物 that doesn't mean that zero pesticides or herbicides are used or 但這不代表零農藥或零除草劑 that farms crops aren't exposed to pesticides even if its inadvertently. If 也不代表農作物沒有暴露在殺蟲劑之下,即使不是故意的 food is labeled with the USDA organic label then 95% of the ingredients must 如果食品上有美國農業部有機標籤,那95%的來源必須是 be organic, not 100%, 95. I personally do notice a bit of a difference with a few things. It's ALL CRAP! I hate to break it to you but organic doesn't mean healthy or even 有機小熊軟糖……都是垃圾食物!我不想替你們打破這些幻想,但有機並不代表健康 less processed. An organic chip is just as processed as a non-organic chip. It has 甚至是少加工的。有機洋芋片在製造時和一般的洋芋片一樣 just as many calories and fat as the non-organic chip but it costs three times 有一樣多的卡路里和脂肪,但卻要價三倍之多 more. Nutritionally it is not doing anything for your body. Processed foods are 營養層面來說,也不會對身體有任何助益。加工食品 not fuel. Whether they are organic or not. So what am I trying to say? Don't 不是燃料。不論它們有不有機。所以我想說的是什麼呢? waste your money on organic processed snack foods and if you're thinking duhhhh 不要浪費你的錢在有機加工零食上,而如果你覺得「呃我當然知道啊!」 hear me out because studies show that most people do think that organic 聽我說完,因為研究顯示,多數人還真的認為 cookies and snacks are healthier and less calories and fat. That's not how it works. 有機餅乾跟零食是比較健康,低脂和低卡路里。道理不是這樣的! Organic doesn't mean anything when it comes to processed foods. If you're someone 有機在加工食品上是沒有任何意義的。如果你是個 who buys organic processed foods my advice to you stop worrying so much about organic 買有機加工食品的人,我的建議是別擔心有不有機了 start trying to wean off of the processed snacks. If you wanna buy organic produce if it 試著戒斷加工零食。如果你一定得買有機農產品才覺得安心 makes you feel better go for it but don't convince yourself that the processed 那就買吧,但別想說服自己有機加工食品 organic snacks are any better for you. Remember they are not food as fuel 對你的身體比較好。記得它們是食物,不是燃料 choices. If you really want to make efforts to be healthier consider trying 如果你真的想要吃得比較健康,可以考慮 to get more whole foods into your daily diet.
