You've heard it before: In order to be your healthiest 'you', you must drink 8 cups of water per day. So you may already know that. But it's true, and it can make you feel better, so hear me out. Do you not drink enough water for one of the following reasons: You always forget, you don't just like it, you prefer some other form of beverage, or you're from another planet and don't require water to survive? Well, if it's the last one, you can skip the rest of the video because it doesn't apply. For my human viewers, please, pay attention. If it's too tough to remember to drink your water, fill up a large bottle--preferably a 32 oz. one--at the beginning of the day and keep it at your desk. It's hard to avoid if it's right there. Drink it 2 times and you've reached your daily goal. You can also set reminders for yourself to drink, or get a cool water bottle that you really like and carry it around everywhere you go, sipping constantly. If you already enjoy coffee or tea, that's great, because they're mostly water. To get additional benefits from your caffeine habit, try saving that Starbucks cup after you finish your morning latte and refilling it with plain water several times throughout the day. You soda drinkers out there, you are tougher to crack, but you're probably the ones most in need of these tips. If you don't like to drink water, go for club soda, and try more heavy, water-volume foods such as celery, watermelon or cucumbers. So remember: Drinking water doesn't have to be a chore. It's one of the easiest things you can do to feel just a little bit better.
