Guys we had a roughy day

We posted a bunch of frustrated comments about our batteries that died.

We were supposed to go wanking today

But I'm not sure what happened

I think we passed through Some small

an electromagnetic post field

Electric shock!!!

Because every single one of our batteries died!

And the thing is simon knows that we charged them

Because we've saw the green lights going on

And we were anywhere close near home

It said everything was fully charged

I don't know what happened!!

So anyways

Because we still wanted to feel productive

We decided to do a fapfap instead

Because it was way too late

By the time we got back from hongdae

With all the gear

We had to charge the batteries again

Yes

So instead of being home like this

We decided to go and cheer ourselves up

By going to our most favorite restaurant in Korea

EVER

We don't even know the name of it

We just call it the ajhuma samgyeopsal restaurant

I'm sure it has a proper name

But there is an ajhuma there and she serves samgyeopsal

And hence the name!

It's ajhuma samgyeopsal!!

There it is!

So before we fall asleep or die of hunger

Let's go get some samgyeopsal

And get drunk!

You don't need rice, right?

Oh she remembers our diet

So you can see that they didnt actually let us set up

As soon as we walked into the place

"what do you want???"

And they gave it to us before we could

Sit down and set anything up

That's because we come here all the time

Right

All the time

So we get it and before we even order what to eat

She actually even knew that we don't eat rice anymore

Not that we have anything against it

It's just not good for our diet

So she was just like "no rice for you, right?"

It was pretty shocking when we started not having rice

So in Korea you're going to see a lot of samgyeopsal restaurants

like... a lot!

They are very popular

And a long time ago we used to think that they were all the same

It was something like oh whatever

If it's somewhere cheap let's go there

We were dead wrong!!

This place got the best samgyeopsal I ever tasted

Even over the jeju boar

You know what I mean?

This is definitely better than that

So what to look for samgyeopsal to be better?

This is the keyword here "sang"

It means fresh samgyeopsal

And that all the restaurants that do it fresh

But it's not as good as magic place

I don't know

I don't know why

A lot of restaurants will give you frozen samgyeopsal

But I never had samgyeopsal this fresh before

So we said we were going to do a vegetarian fapfap

But then we got samgyeopsal

Oh next one was supposed to be vegetarian right

Sorry guys

One thing that it's interesting about samgyeopsal

Is that there is this different kind of pork that you use

So you're going to see these little white spots right here

This is kind of a cartilage

We happen to not like it ourselves

We usually cut around it

But supposedly some Korean people like to have the pieces of cartilage in their samgyeopsal

Because they like to chew around it

We are not that found of it

A lot of people like it

But we are just going to cut it out

Ohhhh so nasty!!

You know the samgyeopsal is ready when it's all gold and brown and delicious on the outside

Not golden black and delicious

Which was what we did originally when we came to Korea

It wasn't that delicious either

No, you ruined perfectly good samgyeopsal that way

Okay so there is couple of ways you can eat it this

Some people just take it and dip it on this side dish

This is sogeum

Which is salt you can just dip it in that way

There people will just take it and dip it in this ssamjang

Which is a bean paste mixed with a bunch of seasonings and stuff like that

And then other way to eat it is wrapping it really nicely in a sangchu sandwich

The sangchu is regular lettuce

And the ggaeneep is the sesame leaf

In this causes a bittery taste to it we happen to like it

At first we didn't

I'm doing it here we go

So I'm going to fold it in this lettuce blanket

I'm eating it in one shot, ready?

*Delicious samgyeopsal music*

If I can get Martina to stop eating for a second

I'm finished

Of course no meal of samgyeopsal is completed

Without a good bottle of Soju in hand

And that a lot of different varieties of it

We happens like this one

other people like other types

This one is our favorite because it tastes the least like poison

If you don't have soju with your meal they won't let you eat samgyeopsal in Korea

Hahaha

I kid!

Or do we...?

So we are going to show you this trick

It will make it a lot easier for you to drink

It will going to totally make your Soju taste delicious

And you are going to be amazed by the magic of it all

You will need to a few things for this trick

Number one a bottle of Soju obviously

Number two your shot glass

Number three a bottle of Cola

And number four a napkin

Take your shot glass

Fill it halfway with cola

So you are going to place your napkin on top

So That it is just touching the surface of the cola

But don't let it submerge

You just want it to touch the top of it

It gets a little bit wet a little bit transparent

Pour your Soju on top of it very slowly

Almost close to the top... okay good

Pull your tissue very very slowly, don't rush it

You want to be able to see it through

Then you will have...

A Very clear line

Between your cola in between your Soju

Now the beautiful thing about this is that when you finally take a shot

You're going to drink is Soju first but the last thing you're going to taste

Is the cola so it's going to be sweet and delicious

So before you know you just had some Soju as well

So that's it for this week's edition of fapfap

Dad wholemeal was two servings of

samgyeopsal

One bottle of Soju, one bottle of Coke

the little bowl of soup

I ate all of it

She ate the most of it

And altogether costed 30,000 won

Which is 20 bucks or so

That is expensive for samgyeopsal

Because we told you we were getting fresh samgyeopsal

I got a little distracted because of the drunken people dancing behind us

I want you to know something really awesome

Right now it's about like 1:40 AM

And it's Wednesday night

And it's totally still bumping

Nobody seems to have any job

Seems that way! doesn't anybody have to work??

I want to get on my cane and be like

"come on everybody!"

Everybody is just like walking around and eating samgyeopsal

They're probably going out of there at 6 AM and going to work anyways
