The whole show, that particular episode

that airs this week, was shot on iPhone and iPads?

- The whole thing was shot on iPhones, a few iPads.

But what they did--what-- they had the camera people

holding the iPhones.

See, I'm not good with iPhones myself.

And then they would put our hand on them and move them

like we were holding them,

and the whole show is that.

- The entire show. - The entire show.

- And I kept saying, "Well, what am I looking at?"

And they said, "Well, no, they do this.

You can do this on a face thing they call."

- FaceTime. - FaceTime.

- Yes.

- Which I don't like to do FaceTime

because I don't want to see my face.

- Well, none of us do.

I mean, it's so jarring. - You know what I mean?

- No. - I'd rather just talk.

- It's always jarring when you forget

you've had it turned around on yourself,

and you turn it on, and you're like, "Oh, Lord."

It's not flattering at all. - Yeah.

- But, really, it's such a great show.

It's creative, and I love--

I mean, nobody's ever done this before, so that's--

- No, no, that's true. That's true.

So it's gonna be interesting,

you know, to see how it--

- Yeah, it's a great group of people,

and, I mean, every single one of you are talented

in so many different ways.

Sofia Vergara, who plays your lovely wife on the show--

Are you finally--

I don't-- I still don't understand her.

- More so now. - Uh-huh.

- Yeah, because, you know, I'm around her so much

that I can kind of--

It's sort of like a shorthand, you know?

I kind of know what she means

even if I don't quite understand what she's saying.

- Right, and now she's very happy with Joe.

Have you met Joe? - I have met Joe.

First time I met him, we were on location at night,

and he came with his mother.

You know, he's-- he's from Pittsburgh.

And, you know, I had been a rookie with the Steelers

years ago in Pittsburgh,

so Joe wanted to meet me too.

And so...

[laughter]

When I met him, you know,

first of all, he's about 6'5".

[audience whoops]

And he was just getting ready to go down for "Magic Mike,"

and he was in very good shape,

you know, obviously.

So when he walked away, because we were gonna do a shot,

Sofia came towards me, smiling, you know,

and said, "Well?"

You know, and I said, "I don't know what you see in him."

[laughter]

"He looked like an Avatar."

- Yeah, yup.

The two of them together are quite a handsome couple.

- Well, I shouldn't say what I said,

but I just said, "If I could just watch

just to see"--

[laughter]

I would be out of the way. I would be quiet.

Just once.

[laughter]

- What did they say to that? - No.

- Okay.
