[MUSIC PLAYING] (SINGING) Everything
you do it sends me higher than the moon.
- Hey everyone.
I'm Mindy from Cute Girls Hairstyles.
And today I'm here with Camry, and we're
going to show you how to do a waterfall rope twist.
Now, one of the best parts about this hairstyle
is that I think it looks just as beautiful whether you start
with your hair wet or dry, which is perfect for summertime
when you're climbing in and out of the water, and at the pool,
and at the beach, and everything else.
So, let's go get started.
OK now, for this hairstyle, you're
actually taking two techniques I taught you
before, a waterfall twist and a rope braid
and combining the two of them together
to create one awesome hairstyle.
So, if I'm going too fast in this video, for any reason,
you can always check out the individual videos
for a little bit slower technique.
I'm going to start by parting her hair on the left side,
and then I'm going to go over to heavy side of her hair,
and pick up a section right here in front.
I'm going to divide this section into two pieces.
And I'm going to take the bottom piece
and just cross it over the top piece.
Easy at that.
Now I'm going to take some hair from the top, a little
strand right here.
I'm going to take it and put it right
through the middle of those two pieces.
And then I'm going to twist the hair again.
So, you basically just created a little pocket area
for that strand.
Now I'm going to pick up hair again.
Again, take it right through the middle of the two pieces
and twist it.
And you're just going to repeat this
all the way towards the back of her head.
And I am going to angle it just down slightly as I go along.
And, we're nearly finished with this part.
You're probably going to get, I don't know,
five, six maybe seven strands falling through
before you're going to want to quit.
So, I'm going to stop there.
I'm just going to twist it a couple more times
to secure it all.
And then you can either secure it
like clip it out of the way with a little hair clip,
or you can elastic it.
I'm just going to have her hang onto it, for one second for me,
with this hand please on your left side.
Thank you.
Now, I'm going to swoop all of her hair
over to that same shoulder.
So, I'm just going to go back and make sure
I gather up all this hair.
Swoop it over to the side because I want it hanging over
this shoulder where we have the pretty waterfall effect.
And when I get it, kind of placed where I want,
then I'm going to divide the hair in half.
Now I'm going to have her release the twist
and I'm just going to add them right
into one of those two pieces.
For me, I like the back one.
Now, we're going to take these two pieces
and we are going to rope twist them.
So let's do that, we're going to just twist
this very softly to the right.
Can you hold that for me for a sec?
Now, you're going to take this one
and also twist it to the right.
Now, I'm going to just twist them together
going towards the left.
And this is creating a rope twist
that's going to stay in securely.
So when I leg go of it, it's not going to fall apart.
Like a normal twist might.
When you get down to the end, security it with an elastic.
Go ahead and let it go.
And then you can loosen it if you want a little softer
look right at the top.
And, there you have it.
This great water falling effect, and I
love that it goes right into the twist.
And it's all there on one side.
So let's give her the final spin.
You can see, I love this effect into it.
And then it's just a soft side pony tail from the back
and from the other side.
Perfect.
Great summer do.
Keeps the hair out of your face on those days.
And it looks great wet or dry.
You can't ask for anything more than that.
Now, if you guys are still watching my mom minutes,
be sure to check this one out.
It's on family hardships and surviving it
when your family's having a tough time.
I put the link up here or description box
below so you can check it out.
And we'll see you guys next Sunday.
Bye guys. -Bye. [MUSIC PLAYING] (SINGING) Hard to ignore.
Whenever little thing you do I do adore.
Which means you're not going to get maybe
your favorite pair of jeans or, you know,
be able to do the sports or activities that you're used to.
That's probably just a temporary thing so
try not to be to [MUSIC PLAYING] Hello.
Say hi.
