So, one of the uh most common questions I get is, do I need to learn English grammar?
我最常遇到的一個問題是,我需要學習英語語法嗎?
Do I need to study English grammar?
我需要學習英語語法嗎?
Uh, and there's two things that I want to say about that.
關於這一點,我有兩點要說。
Uh, two things, the Bob the Canadian recommendation when it comes to studying English grammar as you learn English.
在學習英語時,加拿大人鮑勃建議學習英語語法。
Um, because some people say if you just listen enough, uh if you just read enough, you'll learn grammar automatically.
嗯,因為有些人說,如果你聽得足夠多,嗯,如果你讀得足夠多,你就會自動學會文法。
And I I actually think that's a good idea, but I don't think that's everything you should be doing.
事實上,我認為這是個好主意,但我不認為這就是你應該做的一切。
So number one, the first thing you should be doing, and I've said this before, so sorry if this sounds like repetition to some of you.
所以,第一件事,你應該做的第一件事,我之前已經說過了,如果這對你們中的一些人來說聽起來像重複,請原諒。
Uh, but you should get a book.
你應該買本書
written in your own language, in your native language, that explains English grammar.
用你的母語寫的,解釋英語語法的文章。
This is incredibly helpful.
這真是幫了大忙了。
Um, when you can read in your own language, the explanations for the different verb tenses or phrasal verbs or all of the other intricacies of English grammar.
嗯,當你能用自己的語言閱讀不同動詞時態或短語動詞或所有其他複雜的英語語法的解釋時。
When you can have it explained to you in your own language, it's just incredibly valuable.
如果能用你自己的語言向你解釋,那就太有價值了。
So that's recommendation number one.
這就是第一條建議。
Go find yourself a book, I'm going to walk over here and get out of the wind a little bit, go and find yourself a book written in your own language.
去給自己找一本書吧,我要走到這邊來,避一下風,去給自己找一本用你自己的語言寫的書。
that explains English grammar.
解釋英語語法。
Because English grammar is complicated.
因為英語語法很複雜。
And uh, if you're just trying to learn it by absorbing it, by listening and reading, um, there's going to be little things that you would love to have explained to you.
如果你只是想通過吸收、聽和讀來學習,那麼你肯定會希望別人給你講解一些小知識。
So, find a book, buy it.
所以,找到一本書,買下它。
You're going to have to spend a little bit of money.
你得花點錢。
Uh, and use your own language uh to help you understand the crazy English grammar that we use as English speakers.
呃,用你自己的語言呃來幫助你理解我們作為英語使用者所使用的瘋狂英語語法。
Uh, job number two.
第二項工作
The second thing that you should do.
你應該做的第二件事。
Uh, you should simply learn how to talk about the past, the present, and the future easily in English.
你只需學會如何用英語輕鬆地談論過去、現在和未來。
So what I mean by that is you should.
我的意思是,你應該這樣做。
practice talking about the things you did yesterday, the thing you are doing right now and the things you are going to do tomorrow.
練習談論昨天做過的事情、現在正在做的事情和明天要做的事情。
You should just learn those structures for all of the most common verbs.
您只需學習所有常用動詞的這些結構即可。
There are a ton of different verb conjugations.
有大量不同的動詞變位。
But if you can easily talk about something you did yesterday, like yesterday I ate pizza, right now I'm eating pizza, tomorrow I'm going to eat pizza.
但是,如果你能輕鬆地談論你昨天做的事情,比如昨天我吃了披薩,現在我正在吃披薩,明天我要吃披薩。
If you can talk fluently using the past, the present and the future tenses.
如果您能流利地使用過去時、現在時和將來時進行交談。
That's like 80% of what you need to know to have a good English conversation.
這就好比你需要知道的英語會話的 80%。
So maybe do a search for like the 10 most common English verbs and literally memorize how to use them with I.
所以,也許可以搜索一下 10 個最常見的英語動詞,然後從字面上記住如何用 "我 "來使用它們。
Uh, in the past tense.
呃,是過去式。
In the present tense.
用現在時。
Uh, and in the future.
呃,還有將來。
So those are the two things that I recommend.
這就是我推薦的兩樣東西。
I just think having a book that allows you uh to have uh your own language explained to you how the English grammar works is excellent.
我只是覺得,有一本書能讓你呃用自己的語言向你解釋英語語法是如何運作的,這實在是太好了。
And I think practicing and being ready to talk in the past, the present and the future uh is just awesome.
我認為,練習並準備好談論過去、現在和未來,簡直太棒了。
Sorry for the short lesson today.
對不起,今天的課程很短。
I'm going to wrap this up.
我要結束了。
Uh, I think my throat's getting better, but I don't want to push it too far by doing an extravagant lesson this week.
呃,我覺得我的喉嚨好多了,但我不想因為這週上了一堂奢侈的課而把它逼得太緊。
So hopefully.
希望如此。
this advice is helpful to you, hopefully this will help you uh as you continue to learn this fun and crazy and wonderful language we call English.
希望這些建議對您有所幫助,希望這些建議對您繼續學習這門有趣、瘋狂而又美妙的語言(我們稱之為英語)有所幫助。
Bye.
再見。
