I get woken up again by my toddler.

I turn on the light, I put my glasses on, I look at the messages on my phone, I reluctantly get out of bed, I put on my robe and my slippers, I tidy up the bedroom a little bit, I go in the bathroom to freshen up, I turn the water on, I look at myself in the mirror and get ready for the day, I take my glasses off and put my contacts in, I brush the knots out of my hair, I put some makeup on, I turn off the light, I switch on the coffee machine, I whip up some breakfast, I pull out my toddler's chair, I put him in his chair and push his chair in, I tell Dory to eat up because we're going out, eat up, we're going out, I finish up my coffee, I take him out of his chair, I clean up, I wipe up the table and countertops, I put away the food and dishes, I notice that we're running out of cereal so I put it on the grocery list, my son runs around the apartment, he burns off some energy, when he gets upset I calm him down, he makes up stories with his toys, I get dressed, I pick out some clothes for my son, I get him dressed, we get ready to go outside, we put on our sweaters, rain jackets, rain boots and hats, my son gets in his stroller, I make sure I have my phone, wallet and keys, I turn off the lights and walk out the door, I lock up and we wait for the elevator, we get on the elevator, go down the elevator and get off the elevator, we go on a walk outside, it's raining a lot, we stop at the library to dry off and to drop off a book I'd borrowed, I'm bringing it back even though I haven't finished reading it yet because it's due today, Dory looks for a dinosaur book, he really likes dinosaurs, he picks out two of them and puts them in the stroller, we check his books out from the library and continue our walk, I look for pretty flowers because spring is almost here, I point out ducks and other animals when I see them, as we walk we watch out for bikes on the path, Dory hops out of the stroller to play, he runs around on the grass, he chases after birds, it's time to start heading back home for lunch, we pass by ponds and more birds, Dory chills out under his rain cover and reads his new library books, we look out for dangerous coyotes, really there are coyotes here, the short walk has tired me out, we get on the elevator, the elevator doors open up and we get I lift up the rain cover from my son's stroller, I take off our rain boots, I help Dory get out of his stroller, I take off his hood and rain suit, I take off the rest of our warm rain clothes, I hang up our jackets in the closet and put away our shoes, after we eat lunch my son tries to put off nap time, I clean up a bit, we pick out some books to read and then sit down and read them together, he lies down for his nap and I pull the covers up to his chin, I tuck him in, I turn off the light and he falls asleep, I turn the coffee machine back on and make a fresh cup, I sit down and open up my laptop, I turn my laptop on and wait for it to start up, I text my friends back and catch up on news, I call my mom back, I catch up with a friend, I catch up on some reading, I email back my boss, Dory ends up waking up early from his nap, I shut down my laptop and get ready for the afternoon.
