The Bible covers two main matters, Christ and the Church.

However, considered from another angle, the Bible is a book of life and building.

Christ is life and the Church is a building.

When we speak of Christ and the Church, we must realize that Christ is life and that the Church is a building.

If you fail to realize that Christ is life and that the Church is a building, then when you say these words, they will simply be doctrinal terms.

What is Christ?

Christ is our life.

What is the Church?

教會是什麼？

The Church is God's building.

In Genesis, the Bible is very consistent.

在《創世紀》中，《聖經》的內容非常一致。

If you read it with insight and with a heavenly vision, you will discover that it begins with life and building.

如果你帶著洞察力和天國的眼光閱讀它，你會發現它始於生命和建設。

We see life and building in Genesis chapter 2.

我們在《創世紀》第 2 章中看到了生命和建築。

Immediately after the creation of man, life was introduced.

人類誕生後，生命隨即出現。

After the Lord created man, he placed him in a garden in front of the tree of life.

Following this mention of the tree of life, we see the flowing river and three precious materials, gold, delium, a pearl-like material, and onyx, a precious stone.

在提到生命樹之後，我們看到了流淌的河水和三種珍貴的材料：金子、珍珠一樣的材料 "翡翠 "和寶石 "瑪瑙"。

According to the further revelation of the Scriptures, especially Revelation chapter 21, these precious materials are for God's building.

In Genesis chapter 2 verse 22, we find specific mention of the building.

在《創世紀》第 2 章第 22 節中，我們發現了關於這座建築的具體記載。

Jehovah God built a rib which he had taken from the man into a woman and brought her to the man.

耶和華神把從男人身上取下的一根肋骨造成一個女人，並把她帶到男人身邊。

God took a rib out of Adam's side and used it to build him a wife.

Thus the man was created, but the woman was built.

In Genesis chapter 2, we see life, the materials that proceed out of the flow of life, and the building of a wife.

Therefore, in Genesis chapter 2, we have life and building.

是以，在《創世紀》第 2 章中，我們有了生命和建築。

In Revelation, the book of Revelation also speaks of life.

啟示錄》也談到了生命。

Revelation chapter 2 verse 7 says, To him who overcomes, to him I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

啟示錄》第 2 章第 7 節說，得勝的，我就賜他吃生命樹上的果子，那樹在上帝的樂園裡。

This certainly is a reference to the tree of life in Genesis chapter 2.

這當然是指《創世紀》第二章中的生命樹。

Revelation chapter 2 verse 17 says, To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and to him I will give a white stone.

啟示錄》第 2 章第 17 節說："得勝的，我要將所藏的嗎哪賜給他，又要將白石賜給他。

This verse speaks of a stone that, according to the Bible, has no purpose other than that of building.

這節經文提到了一塊石頭，根據《聖經》，這塊石頭除了建造之外沒有其他用途。

In the last two chapters of Revelation, which are the last two chapters of the Bible, we see the building of the New Jerusalem.

在《啟示錄》的最後兩章，也就是《聖經》的最後兩章，我們看到了新耶路撒冷的建造。

In the New Jerusalem, the river of life flows, and the tree of life grows in the waters of the river.

在新耶路撒冷，生命之河流淌，生命之樹生長在河水中。

Thus it is clear that the Bible ends as it begins, with life and building.

由此可見，《聖經》的結尾與開頭一樣，都是生命和建設。

In the Gospel of John Between Genesis and Revelation, the two ends of the Bible, there is a wide gap, a broad span.

約翰福音 在《聖經》的兩端--《創世紀》和《啟示錄》之間，有一個很大的鴻溝和跨度。

What bridges this gap?

是什麼彌補了這一差距？

The bridge is the Gospel of John.

這座橋就是《約翰福音》。

The book of John opens with the words, In the beginning.

約翰福音》以 "太初 "開篇。

However, if you read this Gospel carefully, you will discover that the history recorded in it has no end.

然而，如果你仔細閱讀這本福音書，就會發現其中記載的歷史是沒有盡頭的。

Hence it starts from the beginning in eternity past, and it continues indefinitely into the future.

是以，它從永恆的過去開始，無限地延續到未來。

Thus it bridges the span between Genesis and Revelation.

We have seen that the Bible begins and ends with life and building.

The Gospel of John, the bridge between the two ends of the Bible, also is a book of life and building.

約翰福音》是連接《聖經》兩端的橋樑，也是一本關於生命和建設的書。

A few words from the first chapter of this Gospel will convince us of this fact.

這本福音書第一章的幾句話就能讓我們相信這一事實。

In the beginning was the Word, in Him was life.

太初有道，道中有生命。

The Gospel of John does not say, In the beginning was doctrine, and in it was knowledge.

約翰福音》沒有說 "起初有教義，其中有知識"。

No, it says that in the beginning was the Word, that the Word was God, and that in this one the Word who is God was life.

不，它說，起初有道，道就是神，在這道中，神就是生命。

Therefore we find life in the first chapter of John.

是以，我們在約翰福音第一章中找到了生命。

Furthermore, verse 42 of the same chapter speaks of a stone.

此外，該章第 42 節還提到了一塊石頭。

When Simon was brought to the Lord by his brother Andrew, he gave him a new name, Cephas, which means a stone.

當西門被他的兄弟安得烈帶到主面前時，主給了他一個新名字--磯法，意思是石頭。

In the same chapter we are told that in the Lord was life, and that one of his disciples became a stone.

同一章還告訴我們，在主裡面有生命，他的一個門徒變成了石頭。

What is the meaning of this?

It means that life not only quickens, enlivens, and regenerates, but also transforms.

這意味著，生命不僅使人振作、充滿活力和再生，而且還能改變人。

Life will transform the believer into a piece of stone.

生活會把信徒變成一塊石頭。

The purpose and use of the piece of stone are revealed in verse 51.

第 51 節揭示了這塊石頭的目的和用途。

Speaking to Nathanael, the Lord said, Truly, truly, I say to you, you shall see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.

主對拿但業說：我實實在在地告訴你們，你們要看見天開了，神的使者昇天，降在人子身上。

The ancient Jews knew the meaning of this word.

古猶太人知道這個詞的含義。

It was the fulfillment of Jacob's dream, recorded in Genesis chapter 28, verses 10-22.

創世記》第 28 章第 10-22 節中記載的雅各布的夢想成真了。

In that dream, Jacob saw a ladder set up on the earth, the top of which reached to heaven, and on which the angels of God ascended and descended.

在那個夢裡，雅各布看到地上架起了一架梯子，梯子的頂端直通天堂，上帝的天使在梯子上上升和下降。

Jacob called the name of the place at which he had the dream, Bethel, which means the house of God.

雅各把他做夢的地方叫做伯特利，意思是上帝的殿。

During the night, Jacob slept, using a piece of stone as a pillow.

夜裡，雅各布用一塊石頭當枕頭睡覺。

Early the next morning he awoke, set up the stone as a pillar, and poured oil upon the stone calling the name of that place Bethel.

第二天清晨，他醒了過來，把石頭豎起來作為柱子，把油倒在石頭上，稱那個地方為伯特利。

The Lord Jesus was referring to Jacob's dream as he spoke to Nathanael.

主耶穌在對拿但業說話時提到了雅各的夢。

Therefore, in the light of all these verses from John chapter 1, we can see that the gospel is concerned with life and building.

是以，從約翰福音第一章的所有這些經文中，我們可以看出福音與生命和建造有關。

Life?

The gospel of John reveals that Christ came that man may have life and that he himself is life.

Furthermore, this gospel shows us that Christ is the bread of life, that he has the water of life, that he gives life to man, and that he even lives in man as life.

Building.

建築。

Other verses from the gospel of John also unfold the building.

約翰福音》中的其他經文也展現了這座建築。

In chapter 1, verse 14, we see that Christ in the flesh was a tabernacle for God's habitation among men on earth.

在第 1 章第 14 節中，我們看到肉身的基督是上帝在人間居住的帳幕。

The Word became flesh and tabernacled among us.

道成肉身，住在我們中間。

Also, Christ's body was a temple before his death and after his resurrection.

此外，基督的身體在他死前和復活後都是聖殿。

Before his death his body in the flesh was a temple, and after his resurrection his resurrected body remained the temple of God.

他死前肉身是一座聖殿，他復活後復活的身體仍然是上帝的聖殿。

This is the building.

這就是大樓。

We have seen that Genesis chapter 2, verse 22 speaks of the building of a wife, a bride for Adam.

我們看到，《創世紀》第 2 章第 22 節提到了為亞當建造妻子、新娘的事。

John also mentions the bride.

約翰還提到了新娘。

He who has the bride is the bridegroom.

擁有新娘的人就是新郎。

Who is the bride?

新娘是誰？

According to John chapter 3, all the regenerated ones composed together become the bride.

根據《約翰福音》第 3 章，所有重生的人組成在一起，成為新婦。

Furthermore, this gospel reveals that the believers are to be built as the abode of the triune God.

此外，這本福音書還揭示了信徒將被建造成三位一體上帝的居所。

This is adequately and fully disclosed in John chapter 14.

約翰福音》第 14 章對此作了充分而全面的闡述。

John chapter 14, verse 2 says, In my Father's house are many abodes.

約翰福音》第 14 章第 2 節說，在我父的殿裡有許多住處。

If it were not so, I would have told you, for I go to prepare a place for you.

如果不是這樣，我早就告訴你們了，因為我要去為你們預備地方。

This verse tells us that the Lord was going to prepare a place of many abodes in the house of the Father.

這節經文告訴我們，主將在父的殿中預備許多住處。

And if we love the Lord, He will come with the Father and make an abode with us.

如果我們愛主，祂就會與天父一同降臨，與我們同住。

This denotes the building of God's eternal habitation, a building which has many abodes.

這表示上帝永恆居所的建築，一座有許多居所的建築。

Thus, as the Lord's last prayer found in John chapter 17 indicates, all His believers must be built up into one.

是以，正如主在《約翰福音》第 17 章中最後的禱告所表明的，祂的所有信徒都必須被建造成一體。

The gospel of John is altogether a gospel on life and building.

約翰福音》完全是一部關於生命和建設的福音書。

If you want to know the meaning of the Bible, you cannot stay away from the gospel of John.

The key to the whole Bible is in this book, Life Christ Dispensed.

整本聖經的關鍵就在這本《基督賜予的生命》中。

We have seen that Christ is life and that the church is a building, but what is life?

我們已經看到，基督是生命，教會是建築，但生命是什麼呢？

It is correct to say that life is Christ and that Christ is life.

正確的說法是，生命就是基督，基督就是生命。

However, we must realize that life is Christ as God dispensed into our being.

然而，我們必須認識到，生命就是上帝賜予我們的基督。

Although many Christians talk about Christ being life, not all have the experience of Christ as life.

儘管許多基督徒都在談論基督是生命，但並非所有人都能體驗到基督是生命。

The genuine experience of Christ as life is in the realization that Christ is God Himself dispensed into our being.

對基督作為生命的真正體驗，在於認識到基督就是上帝本身，是上帝賜予我們的生命。

This is life.

If you lack this realization, the word life may remain a mere term as far as you are concerned.

Life is the triune God dispensed and wrought into our being.

生命是三位一體的上帝賜予我們的，也是我們生命的結晶。

Although I do not drink alcoholic beverages, we may use the illustration of drinking a glass of wine.

If I were to drink a tall glass of wine, after a short period of time my complexion would become colorful because of the effect of the wine upon my system.

如果我喝下一大杯葡萄酒，過不了多久，我的膚色就會因為葡萄酒對我身體的影響而變得五顏六色。

I would be bold, happy, and blissful.

我會大膽、快樂、幸福。

That would be the result of wine becoming life to me.

對我來說，這就是酒成為生命的結果。

However, if I only learned the meaning of the word wine, discussing it night and day, and acquiring a great deal of knowledge about it, I would experience nothing.

然而，如果我只知道酒這個詞的含義，日以繼夜地討論它，掌握大量有關它的知識，我將一無所獲。

The wine would be unrelated to me.

酒與我無關。

On the contrary, if you forget about discussing the wine and drink a large glass of it each day, you will know what wine is, for it will be dispensed into you, making you happy and ecstatic.

相反，如果你忘了討論酒，每天喝一大杯，你就會知道什麼是酒，因為酒會注入你的體內，讓你快樂和狂喜。

Although this example may be poor, it is nevertheless very illustrative.

雖然這個例子可能很糟糕，但卻很能說明問題。

Do not talk about life without the realization of life.

沒有對生活的感悟，就不要談論生活。

What is the realization of life?

什麼是生命的實現？

It is the living triune God being wrought into us.

它是活生生的三位一體上帝在我們身上的體現。

The Lord Jesus never told us to talk about life.

主耶穌從未讓我們談論生命。

He said that he is the bread of life, and that we have to eat him.

他說，他是生命的糧，我們必須吃他。

He also told us that he gives the living water, and that we must drink it.

他還告訴我們，他賜下了活水，我們必須飲用。

When you eat the bread, it will be wrought into you, and when you drink the water, it will be dispensed into you.

你們吃餅時，餅會鍛造成你們的；你們喝水時，水會分配成你們的。

No longer will you have only bread and water.

你們將不再只有麵包和水。

You will have life.

你將擁有生命。

You will have Christ as the triune God, dispensed and wrought into your being.

你將擁有作為三位一體上帝的基督，並將其注入你的生命。

Do not put some artificial coloring on your face, but simply drink the heavenly wine, and you will have a colorful complexion.

不要在臉上塗抹人工色素，只要喝下天賜的美酒，你就會擁有五彩斑斕的容顏。

Do not pretend to be joyful when inwardly you are filled with sorrow.

當你內心充滿悲傷時，不要假裝快樂。

If you realize that the triune God has been dispensed into you, you will be happy and your joy will be full.

如果你意識到三位一體的上帝已經分配給了你，你就會快樂，你的喜樂就會充滿。

This is life.

這就是生活。

Building, the Enlargement of God What is building?

建築，上帝的放大 什麼是建築？

Many of you are familiar with the term building.

許多人對 "建築 "一詞並不陌生。

Numerous times young people have told me, Oh, brother, in our single brother's house we have very little building.

無數次，年輕人對我說，哦，兄弟，在我們單身兄弟的家裡，我們的建築很少。

Occasionally, I ask them what they mean by this, and they say we are all so independent.

偶爾，我問他們這是什麼意思，他們說我們都很獨立。

We lack the building among us.

我們中間缺乏建設。

Thus I ask you, what does building mean?

是以，我問你們，建設意味著什麼？

Perhaps no one reading this booklet can give an adequate definition.

According to your understanding, what does the word building mean?

Some may find it easy to give a doctrinal answer, perhaps quoting a phrase from Ephesians or another biblical book.

But it is difficult to answer in a practical way.

Building is actually the enlargement of God.

Building is the enlargement of God to express God in a corporate way.

We have seen that life is God himself wrought into our being.

If the triune God has truly been wrought into us, the issue will be an enlargement and an expansion of God.

As I have mentioned earlier in this booklet, God did not create a couple.

He created only a man.

The wife came out of the husband, becoming the enlargement of her husband.

That was building.

Eve as the wife of Adam was God's building, and that building was the enlargement of Adam.

Adam was a figure and type of God becoming a man, and Eve was a figure and type of God's building.

Since this building was a part of Adam, it was undoubtedly his enlargement and expansion.

We need to read the Bible carefully.

In Genesis chapter 1, God was alone.

At the end of the book of Revelation, God is in the center of the holy city, New Jerusalem, which is his enlargement.

In the beginning, we find God himself without any expansion or enlargement.

This is God's building.

Building is not simply that I depend on you, that you depend on me, and that the brothers and sisters depend on one another.

That is not an adequate understanding of building.

The proper building is the enlargement of God, the expansion of the triune God, enabling God to express himself in a corporate way.

This is exactly the revelation of the Gospel of John.

這正是《約翰福音》的啟示。

The Gospel of John reveals that the triune God is dispensing himself into his believers, and that all his believers, as a result of the transfusion and infusion of the triune God into them, become his enlargement.

約翰福音》啟示我們，三位一體的上帝正在將自己注入他的信徒之中，而他的所有信徒，由於三位一體上帝的輸血和注入，都成為他的擴大。

This enlargement of the triune God is the expansion, the building, and the expression of God.

This is the revelation of the Gospel of John.

Thus, when we speak of the building of God, we mean that the triune God, as life, is being brought into us continually, and that under his transfusion and infusion, we are becoming his one expression.

This expression is his enlargement and expansion.
