We all know that witchcraft has a bad reputation, and there have always been a few traditional crafters that are perhaps not all there, or with anger issues, and regularly use magic for dark purposes.

But such people have always been a small minority.

Frankly, such crafters do no good to themselves.

In fact, black magic is a trap. Crafters sometimes become a hole they cannot get out of.

It is very difficult to help people in this situation, but if anyone can help, it isn't a shaman, or a trad crafter highly skilled in crossing the hedge, or shamanic healing.

Now, the thing is, within the craft, it is well known that casting a harmful spell, or other dark magical practices, is often counterproductive.

It affects everyone, including the sender, as well as the victim, in a negative manner. When energy is used in a negative manner on a habitual basis, it becomes very consuming of a crafter's energy, and they burn out.

I personally know of such a case. The principle is, energy sent is energy returned.

We should be builders, not destroyers. So, if you are a seeker, someone who is new to the craft, do not get caught up in negative things.

You may think it's cool and exciting, but it is a trap, and you will pay the cost.

Instead of thinking of the traditional craft as it is intended, a positive force in a positive and healthy lifestyle, a force towards better understanding of the gods, or God, or the universal consciousness. The craft encourages personal development, and as a means of achieving a higher understanding of ourselves, of the worlds we live in, and achieving a deeper spiritual awareness and connectedness to nature and the spirits.
