Things might not feel right now, but we can use this time to think about how we can reimagine and build a better world.

As a boy from the small city of Ilsan in Korea, as a young man standing at the UNGA, as a global citizen of this world, I imagined the limitless possibilities before all of us, and my heart beated with excitement.

作為一個來自韓國一山小城的男孩，作為一個站在聯合國大會上的年輕人，作為這個世界的全球公民，我想象著我們所有人面前的無限可能，我的心激動不已。

But COVID-19 was beyond my imagination.

但 COVID-19 超出了我的想象。

Our world tour was totally canceled.

我們的世界巡演完全取消了。

All of our plans went away.

我們所有的計劃都泡湯了。

And I became alone.

我變得孤獨。

I looked up but couldn't see the stars at night.

I used to dance and sing with my fans, but today, it felt like my world was reduced to a single room.

我曾經和我的粉絲們一起載歌載舞，但今天，我感覺我的世界只剩下了一個房間。

At that time, my colleagues held my hand.

當時，同事們握著我的手。

We chatted and talked about what we could do together.

我們一邊哈拉，一邊討論我們可以一起做些什麼。

It's been a long time since my debut, and for the first time, my daily life came to me.

距離我的處女作已經過去了很長時間，我的日常生活第一次向我走來。

It wasn't what I wanted, but it was a precious time.

這不是我想要的，但這是一段寶貴的時光。

It's a very familiar experience for me that the vast world narrowed in an instant.

廣闊的世界瞬間變窄，這對我來說是非常熟悉的體驗。

While doing the world tour, I was standing in the crowd with the colorful lights and fans, and when I came back to my room that night, my world turned into a few square meters of small space.

在進行世界巡演時，我站在人群中，與五顏六色的燈光和歌迷一起，當晚回到房間時，我的世界變成了幾平方米的狹小空間。

It wasn't a small room, but our world was wide open.

房間不小，但我們的世界很開闊。

It was because there were musical instruments, smartphones, and fans in the world.

這是因為世界上有樂器、智能手機和粉絲。

But this time, I felt more lonely and narrowed down than before.

但這一次，我感到比以前更加孤獨和狹隘。

Why? I thought for a long time.

為什麼？我想了很久。

Maybe it's because it's hard to imagine.

也許是因為難以想象。

I was very frustrated and depressed about the current situation, but I took notes, made songs, and looked back on myself.

我對目前的狀況感到非常沮喪和鬱悶，但我還是做了筆記、譜了曲，並回顧了自己。

If I give up here, I'm not the main character of my life.

如果我在這裡放棄，我就不是生活的主角了。

A great person would do this, right? That's what I thought.

I don't know who was first.

With a lot of emotions in my heart, the seven of us started making music together.

I was able to be honest with everything because it was the music that started it.

Our lives have no fixed answer as much as we can't predict.

我們的生活沒有固定的答案，就像我們無法預測一樣。

I also came to this position by believing in me and us, doing my best, enjoying the moment, and having no clear direction.

With our music, I found myself who had forgotten my beloved members, family, and friends.

在我們的音樂中，我發現自己已經忘記了自己摯愛的成員、家人和朋友。

Worries about the future and endless efforts are all important, but the most important thing is to cherish yourself, encourage you, and make you happy.

對未來的擔憂、無盡的努力都很重要，但最重要的是珍惜自己、鼓勵自己、讓自己快樂。

The more uncertain the world is, the more we should never lose you, me, and our preciousness.

世界越是不確定，我們就越不能失去你、我和我們的珍貴。

Like the message of LOVE MYSELF that we've been talking about for the past three years, and our song, I'M DIAMOND, YOU KNOW I GLOW UP.

One night when we were all working together, RM said he couldn't see the stars, but I could see my face reflected in the window.

We made the story we wanted to tell each other into a song.
