字幕列表 影片播放 列印英文字幕 Are you okay, Greeg? What's wrong? Use your words, buddy. Wait, I forgot you don't talk. I don't know if you even can understand me, honestly. Oh, ew, what is that? That looks like a vape. Where did you get this? I'm not mad; I'm just confused, honestly. Instead of shaming you or grounding you, which I can't do because you're capable of creating portals to different dimensions, I'm going to educate you. Let's discuss the mystery and possible dangers behind vaping. What is it, and what does it really do to your body? Let's hold our breath and explore. Hey there, welcome to Life Noggin. Ah, okay, a vape shop opened up in the Life Noggin World. They really are everywhere, huh? Greg, did you know that vaping can affect your heart, lungs, and even your blood vessels? Shocking, right? I'm not sure if you even have blood, really. I don't know what you are, but I'm sure it's still dangerous to you. Vaping might seem like a safer alternative to smoking, but it's not without its risks. E-cigarettes heat substances like nicotine, flavorings, and chemicals to create an aerosol that you inhale. Unlike regular cigarettes, with 7,000 chemicals, sometimes we don't fully know what's in e-cigarettes, but one thing's for sure: they expose you to toxic substances. Vaping can harm your heart and lungs. Nicotine, the addictive agent in both e-cigarettes and regular cigarettes, raises your blood pressure and heart rate, increasing your risk of a heart attack. Emerging data suggests links to chronic lung disease and asthma, and even cardiovascular disease. I mean, why risk this? Wait, did another vape shop open? Animator, did you fall asleep? What is happening? You might find it difficult to quit vaping, and that's because vaping is just as addictive as smoking. E-cigarette users can even consume more nicotine than traditional smokers because of extra-strength cartridges or higher voltages. But that's not all. Long-term vaping can damage your blood vessels, which ups your risk for cardiovascular disease. Studies have shown that vaping causes more harm to blood vessel cells compared to non-users, affecting nitric oxide production, cell permeability, and leads to an increased release of hydrogen peroxide. Yeah, all those things, not good. I know it's tough, but if you're trying to quit smoking, e-cigarettes might not be the best option. With over 2 million US middle and high school students vaping in 2021, it's clear that a new generation is getting hooked on nicotine. Yikes. But promoting healthy activities, offering supports and resources for those quitting smoking, and open discussions on the dangers of vaping can effectively prevent vaping initiation among our younger people. You might feel bad at first when you try to quit, but if you push through, you can find yourself living a healthier life. No judgments here; you can do it. So, what do you think? What are your thoughts on vaping? Have you tried it or know someone who has? No, Greg, I'm not a cop. Let's share our experiences and support each other in making healthier choices. Remember, your health is precious, and so is your wallet; this stuff is expensive. If you're vaping or considering it, think about these risks. You can limit your accessibility to it, lower the nicotine amounts over time, try to counter it with another habit every time you get the urge to vape, and make sure you're in a good mental state. It might be an emotional crutch. Therapy, if you can afford it, can really help pinpoint the reason behind the addiction beyond just nicotine. Patches and gum are out there, too, and there are plenty of communities online to help you through it. Animator, can you please replace the vape shops with some Block Body Fitness facilities? Yeah, that's better. Do all the things that help this channel grow: subscribe, like, and whatnot. It really helps us out.
