So, some people have this quick⏤get-rich-quick notion.

I mean, maybe⏤it's like a casino, maybe it's... it's happened, but it's not... it's not the normal way.

Second, you're gonna spend your life learning.

You know, I read four or five newspapers every morning.

I read tons of stuff.

You're gonna learn⏤when you go out on the road, learn, learn, learn, you learn from clients, learn from competitors.

You learn⏤when we meet with small business, you're always learning.

你學習——與小企業會面時，你總是在學習。

And that could be a small thing that someone said, "Why do you do this?"

You say, "Oh, my God, we should do that differently."

你就會想：「天啊，我們該以不同的方式來做。」

So, a very large thing.

Even innovation, sometimes, is not an "A-ha", it's a lot of little things added on top of each other.

The iPhone was 3G, you know, the glass, the semiconductors, the batteries.

So, learn, learn, learn⏤treat people the way you wanna be treated.

You know, like, like, have respect for people and be willing to change your job a little bit.

像是尊重他人，還要願意小幅度改變你的工作。

Don't worry about your income level.

不要擔心收入水平。

You know, people like, I got... I take that job.

有些人會說，我接受那個工作。

I love the people, but it's less money.

我喜歡與我共事的人，但薪水比較少。

You know what? Sometimes it's the absolute right thing to do.

你知道嗎？有時，這正是正確的做法。

So, be a little bit flexible in the job you take and try.

所以，面對工作靈活點，多去嘗試。

You know, in your lifetime, you should be prepared to do a bunch of different things.

We tell people it's your job to take care of your mind, your body, your spirit, your soul, your friends, your family,

and you need to do that at any level.

Most of the people in my life who are always frenzied, they can't get it done.

I always tell them, it's you, it's not the company.

A lot of people doing that exact... exact same job and they're always at peace and at ease and they have their family time.

You don't get the quality without quantity.

You know, and I tell people, "So, you have to arrange your life."

So, it works for you in a way that you're taking care of your health.

以一種對你來說可行、有益健康的方式安排生活。

Like, when I go travel overseas, I schedule exercise time.

像是我去海外旅行時，我會安排運動時間。

Management is: get it done, follow up, discipline, planning, and now just facts, fact, facts, and now is get the right people in the room, you know, kill the bureaucracy.

管理就是把事情完成、跟進後續、有紀律、有規劃，實事求是、挑選正確人才，還有屏棄官僚主義。

All these various things gonna get done, which, if you don't, you won't be particularly good.

這些事都得完成，若不是如此，你就不會成為頂尖。

But the the real keys to leadership aren't just doing that or making done but having people who want to work at the place.

但領導力的真正關鍵，並不只是去做這些事或完成這些事，而是要讓人想留下來，為你工作。

So, you might want to work for me if you trust me, if you know what I care about is the client, the country, something different.

如果你信任我，知道我關心客戶、國家等不同的事物，你可能會想為我工作。

If the person is selfish, you know, blames you and takes the credit, you're not gonna wanna work there.

如果這人很自私，時常指責你並搶走功勞，你就不會想在那工作。

So, to me, humility, openness, fairness, being authentic, that's what creates leadership.

所以對我來說，謙遜、開放心態、公平、真實才是創造領導力的要素，

Not the smartest person in the room or the hardest working person in the room.

而不是要當最聰明或最努力的人。

And you can, you know, if you made a list of good CEOs, it's not their charisma, it's not always their brain power,

而如果做一個優秀 CEO 名單，重點肯定不是其魅力或腦力，

but you won't be a good CEO without that, because people want to work there.

但沒有這些，就不會是個好 CEO，因為人們不會想在你手下工作。

And so, to me, that is a whole different way of making sure you manage it.

所以，對我來說，那是確認你是否管理得當的不同方式。
