I really didn't like playing with Barbie Dolls or wearing dresses.

I preferred hanging around the boys and playing with action figures and cars.

我喜歡跟男孩子玩在一起 喜歡玩公仔人偶和玩具車

And playing in the mud And even playing with the insects sometimes

我也玩泥巴 有時候甚至會玩昆蟲

and frogs Not that many people liked me.

還有青蛙 很多人都不喜歡我

I got picked on.

我常被人找麻煩 被人針對

It made me very sad.

這讓我很難過

When I stated to hit puberty, that's when it got hard.

當我進入青春期 那是惡夢的開始

I felt fat and ugly And I got bullied for being the Tom Boy.

我覺得我又胖又醜 別人因為我是"假小子"而霸凌我

But I knew there was something more in me… …something that was missing.

但我知道 在我內心深處缺了一角

I didn't know who I was but then, I got a phone one day and discovered the term “transgender”.

一開始我不知道我怎麼了 直到我有了手機 然後發現了"跨性別"這個名詞

And I looked it up and it made so much more sense to me.

我上網查了資料 一切好像都有了答案

I realized that I was transgender I didn't tell anyone until grade 8.

我知道我是跨性別者 但在八年級前 我沒有告訴任何人

I was too scared to come out because I though people would not like me.

我害怕出櫃 因為我怕人們不喜歡我

But surprisingly no one really hated me for it.

但令人驚訝的是 沒有人因此討厭我

I had so many friends whop cared and tried their best to understand.

我有好多在乎我且願意努力了解的朋友

But sadly some people didn't But that's okay, it's hard to understand.

有些人並不像我這麼幸運 但這也沒關係 這本來就不是容易瞭解的事

Now I am very happy with who I am And I'm proud to be myself.

現在 我很喜歡我自己 也為身為我自己感到驕傲
