So the first time I came to Japan I was high school students.

So I lived here for about four months, went to high school and excuse me, I have my tea here.

The southern part of Japan is the most Japanese, it has the most history.

An old feeling like a very historic feeling and I love that vibe.

I studied a lot of Japanese history and folklore and all that stuff.

So I really really loved the southern part of Japan just because it was the most Jap japan to me and maybe it was because I was a high school student there and it was my first time living in Japan and that's where I am naturally drawn to now.

If you are looking for a place that's a little more in aka is what we call it, a little more countryside, a little more historic, lots of shrines, temples, museums, things that you would not particularly see as much.

If you lived in the north, I would go for somewhere in the south.

I think it's slowly transitioning into uh more of a Tokyo vibe to me but it's also very touristy.

So if you don't like to be in the tourist type area, I think Kyoto might not be the best, but Kyoto has a very historic vibe still and they're preserving a lot of things and I think that's really great about kyoto.

I love seeing the shrines and the temples and the history but it is very touristy.

Yeah, so we're going to the temple right now and this is the biggest temple on this island, wow, you can smell the incense here too.

So if you have a goal in mind and you want to get a job in a specific area like I.

I think it's a very great place to raise kids.

If you want to live in the south in the Chicago area, kyoto area, Osaka area.

I think it's a very educational place to live and you can experience a lot.

Another place that I lived when I came back to Japan was al Maury and that is in the north of Japan, the very, very tip of the Han XU region closer to Hokkaido, it's very, very cold up there.

Whereas the south is very warm if you like warm weather.

I would go for the north of Japan and the north has a lot of histories as well.

I lived in Hirosaki, Hirosaki is very gorgeous.

It has probably my favorite castle that I visited in Japan almost like I would call it, people in the jet program would call it a fake city because it was so tiny, like it was so small but it tried its best to act like a city.

It was very convenient but it's very isolating.

So at the time they didn't have a train going into Al Maury so I would have to take a plane if I wanted to go anywhere but now they do have a train which might be a little bit better but when I lived there was very isolating, there's a lot of older people, there's more, there's more nature but the summers are very short and the winters are very long so I didn't particularly enjoy it that much just because I'm from michigan and I am sick of the cold, I wanted to get away from that.

So the other thing about Al Maury and the north of Japan that I love is the nature, oh my God the nature, it's probably the most beautiful in Japan, I would have to say if you wanted to live somewhere in the north of Japan and you love nature.

The rent is so cheap in the north, so cheap, like my apartment was 9000 yen a month and you can find bigger and more luxurious places for cheap in the north.

So if you want to find someplace cheap to live very much in nature and countryside, I would go for the north and you like sports and the cold.

That's the best place to live for people like you, I forgot to mention, the only place in Japan that has a difficult dialect to understand is Al Maury.

If you're studying japanese, Al Maury is not the best place to live and this is only an Al Maury, other places in the north speaking a dialect similar to other locations in Japan, although you'll find each part of Japan has a specific way of speaking, I haven't lived everywhere obviously, so I'm just stating opinions of where I've lived, but I've lived in the south in the north and now in the central part of the ponto, which is Tokyo, I, I want to say something about Tokyo.

Tokyo is very busy, it's very packed full of people, not the best for people with anxiety like me, so if you have anxiety, depression, stress, I highly discourage living in Tokyo.

I have gotten used to it and I still enjoy Tokyo because I feel like Tokyo has a lot to offer if you want to live here, if you want to level up in your job and your career, Tokyo is the place to be.

I, I think it's a great place for events and parties and meeting new people, There's a lot more foreigners here, it's a very touristy still, but I love meeting people from around the world, I have friends from Russia, have friends from England, I have friends from Australia, have friends from everywhere and I love that part of Tokyo, you'll never be bored, I feel like Tokyo, there's always something to do, there's always something going on, there's always stuff to see and do and I just, I never have gotten bored in Tokyo, but the rush of life and the madness of life here in Tokyo is draining my energies a lot and I just really need to kind of get away from that, so if you want to be a model, if you want to teach english, if you want to do anything here, I would highly recommend Tokyo if you like the city life, if you like going out all the time partying, whatever, like there's always something to do if you're a very social person, if you don't mind the crowds and the pack trains and things are generally far away, so it takes me about 40 minutes to get to work each day, so if you don't mind long commutes and high rents then I would recommend Tokyo, it's very expensive to live here, it's not the most ideal, but there are places like Yokohama and Chiba, which is actually where we live is in chiba.

So we live on the outside of Tokyo, but it's easy to get into Tokyo.

So people, when they say, where do you live, like we usually say Tokyo because technically we live in Tokyo, technically we're close to Tokyo, that's like the closest city that people recognize, but there are places on the outside of Tokyo that are cheaper, so and more quiet, so there are places that you can live their quiet and cheap and not so far away from the city, but Tokyo, I've lived here for five years, I can't believe I've lived here for five years, this is insane because I lived in Nagoya for three, which makes me live in Japan for almost like eight years, I think nine years, I think about nine years now um that I lived in Japan in total, Tokyo is very busy, crazy, lots of opportunity, very expensive, if you like that kind of thing, I recommend Tokyo, which leads me to the best place to live in Japan, this is like clearly like my, my opinion, I want to live in Nagoya again, I don't know why I'm singing this, but I miss Montoya so much, I moved here because a relationship, I don't regret it because I feel like Tokyo has pushed me in my career and my Youtube life and all that stuff, so I don't really regret moving here, I think it's great to experience other places, I love moving, I love experiencing new locations, so I was okay with it, but I found that quickly, Tokyo is not for me, I made a video about that, it'll be linked down below and I talked about why Tokyo is not for me and it still isn't.

So I want to move back to Nagoya and the reason why I want to move back to Nagoya, you know, some of you guys have seen an article called Nagoya is like the most boring city in Japan.

It's in the middle of Tokyo, right in the middle of Tokyo.

I just feel like Nagoya was just the best time in my life.

I feel like Nagoya was the best, most relaxing place to live for people that have anxiety or stress, it's not so overwhelming of a city and that's what I loved about it so much and I can speak so passionately about it because I lived there for two or three years and I just moved to Tokyo because of a relationship, I didn't move because oh I wanted to, I really want to experience Tokyo, I moved for a particular reason when I left to go, I feel like I left my heart and my soul behind because I loved it so so much.

I feel like I'm not really in Japan when I'm living in Tokyo.

So Nagoya was like the best place for me to live and I just like talking about this, I get so sad because I just, I miss it so much.
