when Max's brother invited us to go skating in the forest

before the season was over.

Already had a visitor

from Indonesia.

I was particularly nervous to go skate

because I have the skating skill of a brick

but I figured I suck it up

and channel that nervous energy to something creative.

(speaking French)

So naturally on top of having to learn to skate

I also decided to carry around my big camera all day

and magically, it only fell once.

had decent to amazing skating skills.

And because Max didn't want me to slow down the group,

he rented a sleigh for me to hold on to.

And then at some point,

I just ended up sitting on it

because I was slowing them down,

even with the learning aid.

we began to have fun and it was so much fun.

made the whole experience even more special.

that he was incredibly happy to be there with us.

Although he tried to fight

all the other animals that we met along the way.

After it was all over,

we parted ways with the rest of the family

and drove back home.

That was like the funnest day since the pandemic.

and a gas station convenience store.

The ride home was quiet

and we were relieved to be home

where we get to be warm and cuddle up to each other

and finally get some much needed rest.

Hey guys, it is now Monday.

We had a big day yesterday.

So we're gonna go take it easy today.

We're gonna go grocery shopping

and then we'll see where the day takes us.

Little Brutus was crying all night last night

'cause he had a big workout

but we massaged him this morning and it was cute.

And I think he feels a lot better today.

I'm wearing my Polo bear sweater and my sweatpants.

after getting like quick groceries and stuff.

And I also picked up a new camera.

So for Christmas,

Max bought me a really nice full-frame camera.

And while I love it so much,

I really don't need another expensive full-frame camera

'cause I have this one, which I already love so much.

And instead he got me a different vlog camera

which we have right here.

So it's this one.

So apparently, this camera is made for vloggers.

I just want like a light camera that I can carry everywhere

and isn't as intimidating to talk to.

Ooh, it's really light.

So there it is.

These are the goodies that I bought at the Asian market.

Just some of my snacks.

I got lychee candy,

some jelly, jellies,

and some peas.

So I'm gonna make dinner

and I'm just gonna whip up something quick and easy.

I've never cooked with this before, black rice.

I'm just gonna make sausages with it.

So it's just gonna be rice and sausage.

you weren't picked up that much.

And I have the flattest head in the world.

So basically every day I have this routine

where I make my head look not as flat.

I feel like my sweater smells like fries.

Okay, so the next part of it is,

I'm gonna do my concealer.

I use the NARS light 2.3. Madeleine?

That's how I look.

I just use a Real Techniques sponge.

I don't like it damp,

so I like dry it out by, like, rubbing it.

I use the lighter shade to basically highlight,

like under my eye. That much.

The Fenty beauty powder.

This is a blotting powder.

It really doesn't do much.

Lightly tap it in.

The Glossier Cloud Paint is my absolute favorite.

I've used it for like three, four years,

the exact same color,

and pop it on here, here, here.

Like, it kind of flattens that side a bit more.
