  • "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" is a hugely popular television show in the English-speaking world.

  • The host of the same name, interviews celebrities, does stand-up comedy, or even interviews stars of viral videos.

  • Ellen uses a really simple language in her show, and to date, she has over 2,600 episodes.

  • So, there's lots of opportunities to practice listening.

  • "Atypical" follows the story of Sam Gardner, a high school student with autism.

  • Sam has all the struggles of a normal teenager, but with the added challenge of being atypical or something that's different than normal.

  • A lot of the show centers around Sam's family, friends and support group, and so there's a lot of dialogue in the show.
