I'm going to be talking to you about ballet. Pas de Bourree is a traveling step that moves
back, side and front. And the position you should have with legs is you're going to have
a coupe to the back with your foot pointed and both legs turned out. That's the start
of your position in plie. And then, you're going to come to second position with your
legs out and releve to the side. And then, you're going to cross forward and go back
to that coupe position. So, demonstrating this Pas de Bourree, we're going to plie,
back, step to the side and step back to the front. With your arms, you're going to have
a simple arms out to the side. I'm going to demonstrate out to the side so you can concentrate
on my legs. So, you're just going to turn out, side and back. And this step can also
be moved but it's important not to travel the Pas de Bourree when you're in plie. You
want to travel it on the releve step. So, traveling the Pas de Bourree, you're going
to plie with knees out to the side. Your foot in coupe. And then, you're going to turn on
the Bourree and come back to that position. So, demonstrating that from each corner. We're
going to bend the knees and then, Pas de Bourree and land on the other side in coupe position.
So, demonstrating it straight up. Front Pas de Bourree. And demonstrating it turning would
be Pas de Bourree to the side.
