  • watermelon juice, so I'm feelin' pretty good right now.

  • We just finished up at the fishing village

  • and now we're gonna hike up these stairs

  • to the Big Buddha, we've got this

  • gorgeous cloud cover, which hopefully

  • means we're gonna get some good bee-wah.

  • - I just wanna make sure that no matter

  • how beautiful this film is, my posterity knows

  • this climb was hard as hell and it's hot as hell.

  • $20 a piece was kind of steep, but

  • that ride was like 20 minutes long and some of

  • the most beautiful views I've ever seen.

  • It was really really cool, you have to do it.

  • some of the new stuff they got.

  • It's one of the oldest tea shops in the city.

  • Ice cream here is a big deal and

  • one of the funny and interesting things to do is

  • to see what the 7/11 culture is

  • in a different place, and in Europe

  • it's like you can find the finest

  • wine and cheese in the 7/11 and here

  • you can find freaking blueberry lavender Haagen-Dazs.

  • Look 'round, are you one of them

  • Yeah, see how they can all see

  • Pointless and worry

  • Like a chicken noodle soup, scrambled eggs

  • unlike anything you've ever had and then

  • white bread toast with butter and then milk tea.

  • - We're headed up Victoria Peak and

  • we're gonna get a view of this gorgeous city.

  • - I'm kinda nervous 'cause I'm doing, like.

  • I'm in my last, like, Borders Story Mode.

  • I have to make sure I have all

  • the story stuff before I leave, and--

  • - I have three thousand subscribers and

  • - So Victoria Peak is this last thing

  • on my list that I have to get and

  • we're gonna go check that out.

  • - This is Hong Kong.

  • Taking your time

  • - It's a super easy walk and the humidity

  • just like goes away once you're up here which is

  • really wonderful considering how hot it's been.

  • - Johnny needs like a special shot

  • for his trailer and so he just made me

  • hide in this bush with all this trash.

  • It's time to go get some lunch.

  • We're gonna go to the birth place or

  • believe birth place or birth place of milk tea.

  • It's believed to be the place that

  • pioneered the unique style of Hong Kong tea

  • which is a fusion of British milk tea and Chinese methods.

  • (upbeat music)

  • - This is my favorite meal yet.

  • - [Johnny] The noodles, we have--

  • - They're like nice and salty and

  • like a little, they have a tiny bit of kick.

  • - [Johnny] This is like cheap good food and

  • it's quick and it is a dream - So nice, it's so nice.

  • - [Johnny] and they're so nice here.

  • The milk tea is amazing, this is a top place.

  • I mean, this is one of the oldest

  • tea shops, fusion-y tea shops.

  • - I can't talk.

  • Mong Kok, I feel like, is where you're

  • gonna get a good local, bustling vibe.

  • (upbeat music)

  • And you're also gonna find there's

  • a lot of good inexpensive shopping and

  • food and things to do, it's a must.

  • - Mong Kok's a must.

  • - [Izzy] They're not gonna believe that one.

  • It's super easy to forget that

  • Hong Kong is an island, it's actually a

  • series of over 250 islands but a 15 minute

  • drive away you are suddenly in beach land.

  • (soft music)

  • - Doing this was a total afterthought and

  • a lot of the locals were like no

  • the beaches aren't great but look.

  • ♪ I keep watching the world change

  • - I mean I'm coming in here just to

  • get a couple of shots for my Borders episode.

  • I kinda wanna go swimming, let's buy a swim suit.

  • Oh, there she is, she's already shopping.
