spoiler alert.
This is actually gonna be really simple.
There's just one company that doesn't way better than the rest.
So I've been testing sim cards and WiFi devices here in Japan for at least the last two years.
Now, it started when I was sent a WiFi redder to check and test.
I've been running around and comparing its other WiFi, testing it doing research.
I did a whole video on it.
It was longer than it needed to be.
But from there I got kind of curious.
And so I started testing a lot of stuff and long story short.
There is no shortage of options out there.
You can get them online.
You can pick them up at the airport.
That is even Sim card vending machines spread throughout Tokyo that you're just going pop your money into.
But I have yet to find something that is a better value and more trustworthy than this video runner right here has been more than two years since they sent this to me, and I still use it and recommend it because it is dirt cheap and reliable to give united how reliable this is I have uses for countless livestream have used it everywhere from northern Japan to southern Japan.
Used it on road trips and deep in the mountains.
Heck, for eight months, this is the only WiFi that I had here in my house as a YouTuber.
You want to talk about a reliability test, and I'm sure there's going to be a lot of people who are like this.
Do is being paid by this cup.
No, no, I am not.
I get free WiFi, which is nice, but I don't get paid.
And of me being able to recommend the same WiFi company for over two years isn't proof enough.
I would like to refer you to the comments section on either this video or the previous WiFi video that I did, which I'll link up here.
A lot of regular viewers have uses over the years, and I openly encourage experiences and reviews down in the comments section.
That being, said, a note on SIM cards.
While I am personally partial to WiFi just because of the flexibility it provides, and if you're traveling with somebody, it's just cheaper to have one device for two people.
I do understand that a lot of people don't want to have to carry an extra device and would rather just have a SIM card right there in their phone.
My video does have SIM cards as well that are just as reasonable.
And I have yet to run into any trouble with them.
Either way, what I like about it is the simplicity, the entire thing.
They mail it right to you with a return envelope.
And when you're finished, before you leave Japan, you pop it in there and drop it in the post box and you're good to go.
I'm gonna link it all down in the description so you can get the most accurate prices and everything like that, along with the code that you can use.
I get nothing from that, but it should make daily rentals cheaper for you.
And no, I do not know how they keep it so cheap, but it works and it's not gonna break the bank.
They haven't.
I'll let you get back to planning in Japan trip.
If you want more quick tips like this, I will link a playlist right here.
Don't forget to hit that subscribe button and I will see you guys again real soon.
I was halfway through this video and I realized I still have my PC glasses on.
Would have been weird to take him off part way through.
I don't even need glasses.
These are for the computer.
