Wow.
They dance very well.
They do.
There's a lot of good dancers here.
Andy is such a huge fan of yours.
And the fact that we've made him dress like this while you're
here is probably upsetting.
I just want to say you're my hero.
Thank you, Henry.
Really.
[LAUGHTER]
Thank you.
I don't know that I could--
You're mine.
You're mine.
You're my hero.
Thank you.
You're the only person on that stage who is my hero.
[LAUGHTER]
And tWitch, I watched tWitch on So You Think You Can Dance.
Oh, Henry.
He was amazing.
Thank you very much, man.
I watched you on Arrested Development big fan, man.
Thank you.
[CHEERING]
He's incredible.
And I watch you.
And here I am, too.
Here you are.
Yes.
You're excited to be here for many reasons, I know.
And we're friends for a long, long time.
Yes.
But someone's on the show today that you're excited about.
I love magic.
And I watched Shin Lim win America's Got Talent.
And I went into his dressing room just now,
and I gave him a hug.
I just met one of the greatest magicians in the world.
He is.
He's amazing.
And he'll be out here a little later.
I mean, that's not even a hyperbole.
Yeah.
No.
He's amazing, and I can't wait.
We have him on the show at the same time that--
Thank you.
--you're on.
You're fantastic in Barry.
Thank you.
And you've got tons of nominations.
Congratulations.
Thank you so much.
That's very exciting.
[CHEERING]
Put them up.
Put them up.
[LAUGHTER]
Boy, you are such a good sport.
Yeah.
[LAUGHTER]
He loves it.
So now, you'll be going to the Golden Globes.
Yes.
And I think that you love it more than any celebrity I
possibly know.
Because you were a fan.
You take pictures with everybody.
I do.
Well, I think, also, if you see something
and it is so incredible-- if you see a performance,
like Sam Rockwell as Fosse, you have to write a letter.
If you see Patricia Arquette in--
The Act.
--you know, Escape from Dannemora,
you have to write a letter.
Oh, Escape from Dannemora, yes, that was amazing, too.
You know?
You do.
Yes.
You write fan letters.
I do.
I write fan letters.
That's really sweet.
I get none.
Yeah.
Yeah.
[LAUGHTER]
Well that's not fair.
Because you should also receive fan letters.
Yeah, you would think.
[LAUGHTER]
Oh, you need to sit back on the-- are you scared?
Are you not staying long?
Because everyone wants you to sit back.
I am.
OK.
All right.
Now, you and Adam Sandler are good friends.
We are.
Have you seen Uncut Gem yet?
I have.
It's unbelievable.
I wrote him a letter.
[LAUGHTER]
As you should.
But I was in "The Hanukkah Song" many years ago, in the '90s.
And I called him up and thanked him
for putting me in "The Hanukkah Song."
And then he called me and asked me
if I would be in The Waterboy.
And that started our relationship.
Your friendship-- that's great.
He really is amazing in that.
Astounding.
I just realized I don't write people letters,
because they're here.
And then I can just tell them--
That's right.
--in person.
Yeah.
Because I get to see them all.
Right.
Because I thought I'm rude.
But I'm not, because I see them.
That's right.
OK.
Good.
All right.
You give them a personal in-person letter.
Yes, I do.
I said to Adam, you know--
when we traveled to do press for The Waterboy,
we were having a cigar.
I learned how to smoke a cigar with Adam on the set.
And we were standing on a rooftop in New York
doing press for The Waterboy.
And he said, how do I grow up?
How do I get out of this character and just
playing this character?
And I said, Adam, you are so talented.
You'll figure it out.
And Uncut Gems, which opens I think Christmas day--
and I mean this from the bottom of my heart.
Every single thing he has done in his life
has funneled him into this performance.
It's heart-pounding.
Yes.
It is heart-pounding.
That is a good word for it.
Directed--
Uncut Gems--
--well.
--go see it.
And Adam is so different in this movie.
Because it's a serious role for him.
Can we show a picture of your new dog that you just got?
Yes.
It's the cutest dog.
It's a Goldendoodle?
Goldendoodle, yes.
Aw.
Hi.
Look at it.
I mean, it looks a little like devilish.
[LAUGHTER]
She's a thief.
She's a thief.
She will take anything that isn't hers.
I have a million toys.
She couldn't care less.
I have a contract for Barry.
It was ready for my signature.
And all I saw was Hen.
The rest of it was eaten.
Oh, no.
That's not OK.
Ooh.
Look at her.
But then she's adorable.
Maisy.
She has a sister.
There she is.
Aw.
Sadie is a year and a half.
She's the kind of beige-gray.
She's a Labradoodle.
And Maisy was born June 29th.
She's adorable.
Hi.
She's adorable.
[LAUGHTER]
You did say hi to your dogs just now, right?
Yeah.
OK.
I did.
Do they watch?
You know what?
[LAUGHTER]
They actually have their own television.
Oh.
And Daddy says hi.
[LAUGHTER]
Daddy says hi.
OK.
[LAUGHTER]
All right.
We're going to take a break.
We're going to talk about your book and possibly play a game.
I cannot wait for both.
OK.
We'll be back.
