- Ah-ha!
- Ah-ha what?
- Ah-ha, I suspect someone
is about to walk through that door.
- Excuse me, I am looking
for Ernlock Holmes and Bert Watson.
- That would be us,
world's greatest detectives.
- Splendid, I am Lady Lulu Quackerville,
and, well, my little duckling Lily has been missing
for ever so long.
I simply must find her,
here is a picture of her.
- Wow, that's an unusual looking duckling.
- I know, but I love her.
Will you take my case?
- We shall find your Lily, Lady Lulu.
- This is where I last saw my Lily.
- Tell me, Lady Lulu,
was Lily wearing leaves when you saw her last?
- No, she was just wearing feathers.
- Like this one?
(tense music)
- And this one?
And that one?
- Why, yes.
- Ah-ha, I think we've found your duckling, Lady Lulu.
- Detective Ernie, ducks don't build their nests in trees.
- Yes, but this is an unusual duck, Detective Bert.
Go up and investigate.
- (sighs) why is it always me?
- Quack, moo, quack, baa.
- Wait a minute,
you may have feathers,
but you're no duck.
- Am too, quack, baa, quack, baa.
- You're a goat,
an imposter, come here.
- Quack, baa, quack, baa.
- Whoa.
(water splashing)
- A goat with feathers?
I think that fall made you confused, Detective Bert.
- I'm wet, Ernie, not confused.
- Oh dear, I fear we shall never find my duckling.
(tense music)
- Lady Lulu, was Lily wearing shoes
when you saw her last?
- No, she had nothing but her own dear little webbed feet.
- And did they look like this?
- Why, yes.
- Ah-ha, follow those footprints
and we'll find your duckling.
- Quack, baa, quack, baa.
Quack-quack, baa.
- I'm not so sure.
- Quack, baa, quack, baa.
- You again?
- Quack, baa.
- Goat, what are you doing?
- Oh, Lady Lulu,
I've always wanted to be your pet.
And, since you love ducks,
I decided to become one.
Quack-quack, baa.
- Well, I'm very flattered
but I must keep looking for my Lily.
(squeaking)
Who are you?
- It's me, young Lily, Lady Lulu.
Don't you recognize me?
The neck, the beak, the wings.
- But you're not a duck, you're--
- A swan.
Hey, it surprised me too,
I never knew until I grew up.
Like my new look?
- I told you this was an unusual duck.
- You told me?
- So long, Lady Lulu,
I'm flying with the other swans down to (mumbles)
for the winter.
- So long Lily,
send a postcard.
Oh, thank you,
you truly are the world's greatest detectives.
- Anything for a fellow duck lover.
- Elementary.
- Baa, baa.
- Well, goat, now that Lily's gone,
you can be my pretend pet duck.
- Hm, sorry your ladyship,
but I decided I wanna be with someone
who can see me for who I really am.
Baa, how'd you like a pet goat?
Baa.
- Ahh. (laughter)
(clock ticking)
(upbeat music)
- Goodnight Bert.
- Goodnight Ernie.
(tapping)
- Uh-oh.
(snoring)
