It's like a year old

But for me it's new because I've never been here, and I'm super excited because it's actually the first permanent Pokemon cafe.

I have high hopes for the food usually with these like character cafes the food can be a little crappy.

But because this is a permanent cafe, hopefully hopefully it's at least you know edible this time. I'm actually mostly excited about the menu.

I will show it to you guys in a second and you'll see why I'm excited,

But first let me introduce my friend Sophie! Sophie actually does Twitch. so I will link her down below. Go check her out.

So they give you a little paper hat when you come in. This is Sakura Afro Pikachu

It's a new spring character, which arguably could have been made a lot cuter.

I'm kind of disappointed because you'd think that Sakura Pikachu would be freaking adorable, and you would want to buy all the plushies.

Sophie: Like the cute, like pink Pikachu. Sharmander: Oh my - Sophie: with the sakura bits on him-

Right? Next year. Make it happen, Pokemon. So with this cafe you have to actually book in advance

It's really busy and you need to make a reservation. Me and Sophie made our reservation probably two or three weeks ago.

It's all in English, I believe. I think I remember there being English on the website, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

There's a little touch screen where you can order food, and we have a total of an hour and a half here and you're allowed

To make orders up until 30 minutes before your time is up.

Let's order some food and I'll show you guys what I'm excited about on the menu.

So this is like the osusume- the current osusume menu. Yes! This is what we came here for~!

It is a freaking

Vegetable burger. A veggie burger, guys! This is like unheard of Japanese character cafes. It's always meat dishes.

It's a limited edition spring menu, so it will be off the menu soon.

They have lots of really cute fancy cocktail type drinks. Oh, a Eevee Coco~!

Look at this Gengar smoothie. I had my eye on...

Is that the one? No, that's not it. This one. This is ditto teeth. It looks like a sunset.

It's really pretty so I think I'll get one of those.

Oh, they've got sweets.

Pikachu a la mode... Eevee parfait...

Jigglypuff cheesecake! They've got a decently sized menu. I'm pretty impressed with it.

It's definitely a lot bigger than a typical pop-up character cafe.

They also have these Pokemon

Lattes, which are pretty neat because they let you choose your favorite Pokemon, and you can choose from all these different characters.

I think it's the first hundred and fifty one. Yeah, so I knew they'd have a Paris, but unfortunately, they don't do soy milk

So I'm not gonna get one. If you're into lattes, that's really fun. So we've made our order

It was kind of expensive. I think it came to about $50 or so.

We got two main dishes, two drinks, and a dessert. So actually I guess it's not too bad

Usually these like character cafes are a little on the pricier side. Fingers crossed that it actually tastes good this time. We will see.

Time for the taste test. It's huge! I don't know how I'm gonna get this in my mouth.

But look at how adorable this is~!

All right, it's softer than I imagined which is good

When we saw the burgers come out were like, "Oh god, the buns look so hard. This is gonna be disgusting."

The buns are really soft and chewy

However, it is lacking ketchup and as a Canadian, I do not approve.

But honestly, you just get it for the cuteness, so I can't complain too much.

mmm. I should have taken off the tomato.

Sharmander: Do you like tomatoes? Sophie: I don't. Sharmander: *Laughs*

Sharmander: Just going to take everything off. Sophie: Yeah. Sharmander: *More Laughing*

I don't know why they didn't put ketchup on it.

Okay, if you come to this cafe bring like a little package of your own ketchup. You won't regret it! *Laughs*

Sohpie: Don't judge me. Oh my god. You're exposing me, stop! I can put some of the lettuce on it. Might be nice. Yeah, dad. I'm gonna find killer sauce

mmm! It's good!

As far as veggie burgers feels it's like decent. It's not bad!

Sophie: The veggies are actually very good. Sharmander: I love how they give you like little side dishes of fries, salad, and these assorted veggie chips!

Which are always my favorite they're usually really yummy. I think this is purple potato

mmm, these are really good.

Again, the fries need ketchup. Who the hell serves fries without ketchup???

What's wrong with this country?

Sharmander: Tastes like McDonald's fries. Sophie: Yeah, I know the fries are pretty good. Sharmander: Tastes like it came straight from McDonald's, yeah! And they also give you a little vegetable soup!

It tastes so unhealthy, but like, good! *Laughs*

It's like a Slurpee from 7-Eleven. You know what those are?

Yeah, okay.

Yeah.

I don't know what the light-blue layer is.

Basically pure sugar.

But it tastes different in this one. This one is definitely grape... maybe ramune?

I think all the syrup is like stuck to the bottom. *laughs* But it looks really pretty so I don't want to stir it up.

Cafe Worker: Okay. Sophie: It's like, jelly balls at the bottom of it. I wasn't expecting that.

No, my LED lights went out!

So they give you this really cool coaster with LED lights that like lights up rainbow colors to illuminate

Your drink when you put it on top, but mine died.
