字幕列表 影片播放 列印英文字幕 if you've ever read a page in a book, got to the end and just forgot what you just read. Your mind wanders, get easily distracted. Here's why. When you read something, you feed this incredible supercomputer of a brain One word. Uh uh, time metaphorically. You're starving your mind, and if you don't give your brain the stimulus it needs, it will seek entertainment elsewhere in the form of distraction in the form off mind wandering biggest myth and lie about speed reading. I think it's spread around by slow readers is that if you read faster your comprehension with what you feel like it would go down. But it's not true. Truth is faster. Readers tend at better comprehension because they have better focus. Lou Slow is kind of like riding a bicycle. Slow wobble, and then you fall. But here's a secret. If you want better comprehension while you read, read faster because it's like driving a car. If you're driving a car, going slow through traffic and I really focused on driving, you're doing five different things. You're drinking your coffee, you're texting, even though you know you shouldn't. You're putting on makeup. I saw someone the other day. Shave it. You're doing five everything, But if you're racing cars, you're taking care of in turns as fast as you go. Do you have more or less focus? The answer is obvious. You're focused on what on the act of driving and on what's in front of you. That's exactly what it's like for reading. When you're reading faster, you focus on the act of reading and what's in front of you. If you want to maximize that, only your speed evaporator comprehension. While you read, I would invite you to a very special master class. But on my mind, I'm gonna share with you and cracked the code on the secret outer. Read faster, not just speak smart reading. Really better focus. Understanding and retention invite you in this master class.
