  • It's Monday, I know you wake up, Punch the alarm clock.

  • Broccoli, Get up, do all your morning stuff, get dressed for work, open the door and almost fall out into nothingness.

  • Literally.

  • There's nothing outside the door, and you barely keep your balance on the edge.

  • You slowly get back into the apartment and run to the window in the living room.

  • The street outside looks normal, but there's not a single soul out there.

  • You open the window, but the glaring blackness meets you there, too.

  • You fall back, snapping the window shut.

  • You gather yourself and call your parents with a huge relief.

  • You hear your mom's voice, she asks if you're okay and tells you they're in the same situation.

  • After making a few more calls, you come to a conclusion that the whole city must be locked in their homes, having no other choice but to stay put.

  • You decide to check if you're well prepared.

  • Good thing you've stocked up on food for a least a few days.

  • Electricity check Internet.

  • Also check water, both hot and cold.

  • Check.

  • Let's not have bad.

  • The phone rings.

  • It's your boss, she tells you.

  • There'll be no work today because of well, the endless dark abyss behind the doors and windows, You say it's okay, men hang up.

  • So, what you gonna do next?

  • Obviously you go to sleep in turning off the alarm clock for good day.

  • One waking ups never been socially.

  • You look at the clock 3 p.m. Smiling to yourself.

  • You go make some coffee again.

  • You take the mug with you to the living room, fall on the couch and turn on the TV.

  • Nothing on the air but streaming service Is air working just fine Setting to binge.

  • Watch your favorite show.

  • You don't even notice the day.

  • Go by.

  • Just being lazy for a day.

  • Feels awesome.

  • Day too.

  • Maybe just one more day of doing nothing Sounds pretty good to me.

  • Day three being well rested and totally awake For the first time in months, you're bursting with energy.

  • Not feeling like lying on the couch all day or surfing the web.

  • You casually check if the endless chasm is still there.

  • Yup.

  • Looking as dark as ever.

  • Oh, well, you almost closed the door, but notice something lying right next to your feet.

  • A grocery bag from your local store.

  • You take a peek inside and see all the good.

  • You usually get their ham cheese, some fruit and veggies, juice, milk and what not perplexed.

  • You take the bag and shut the door.

  • You decide to cook a good lunch and dinner for yourself.

  • After a couple of hours, you're already hungry and the meal is steaming.

  • Having eaten, you take your laptop and start looking for stuff to d'oh.

  • You need some action and you stumble upon yoga.

  • Good star.

  • You spend the next few hours watching tutorials and trying to repeat all the awesome it's It's 9 p.m. And you're a bit tired from all the exercise.

  • How about calling it a day earlier?

  • Tonight?

  • Nice one day seven.

  • For the last few days you've been perfecting your yoga technique, chatting with your friends and family, watching TV shows.

  • You never had the time to catch up on sleeping as long as you like, and basically having some of the best time in your life.

  • The black nothingness behind the door keeps bringing you food, and you also found you could place orders with it.

  • So today you're having steam fish with homemade sauce and coleslaw for side dish young.

  • You've looked up the recipe online.

  • Now that you have the time, you've started to become quite a cook.

  • Day 12 your apartment is sparkling clean for the first time in ages, you finally got down to that leak under the sink in the bathroom and unclog the kitchen sink, finding all the info you needed on the Web.

  • When you look in the mirror, crystal clean, too.

  • You're amazed at how fresh you are.

  • No more dark circles under the eyes and the skin is glowing.

  • Whistling a merry tune.

  • You open the door, smile and wink to the abyss outside.

  • Grab the groceries and go practice some yoga.

  • It's becoming a good habit.

  • Day 21.

  • You've got your day fully scheduled.

  • Now you wake up at 8 a.m. without the alarm clock, take a cool shower, have breakfast and slowly sip your morning joe while scrolling through the feed.

  • Then you open the door.

  • Say hello to the dark void and take the bag.

  • It left for you.

  • You started cooking every day instead of preparing meals for the whole week.

  • Then you do some yoga and spend several hours learning new skills online.

  • It's amazing what you can find out there by now.

  • You know the basics of photo editing.

  • You have 1/2 knitted scarf lying on your bed stand, and you've made yourself cool.

  • No overalls out of a pair of old jeans and an old T shirt found in your wardrobe.

  • Today you feel like learning a bit of digital illustration because why not Day 25 chatting with your friends?

  • You realize how you miss them all.

  • You decide to take a day off from yourself.

  • Education and chores.

  • Call them off for a video chat and you talk like there's no tomorrow.

  • During the call, one of them stands up, takes his phone and goes to the door.

  • He opens it, and there's the familiar blackness and a bag of groceries on the floor.

  • Your friend says he forgot to take it in.

  • In the morning, you talk and play games with your friends late into the evening, and after you've said your goodbyes, you have dinner, go to bed, read a book and fall asleep.

  • Day 30.

  • It's been a whole month since you've become confined your home, but it's been probably the best time ever.

  • Even though you can't go out, you move much more and have even shed a few pounds.

  • You look as fresh as you've never been.

  • You've learned a lot more about the world in yourself than in the past few years.

  • And most important of all, you've had the best quality time with your close ones in months.

  • But still, it makes you sad that you can't visit each other.

  • You're hungry for real people.

  • In live conversations.

  • You've even started missing your colleagues and your job.

  • You open the front door, greet the void and say, a dark abyss.

  • Maybe it's time to call it a day.

  • It's been great, but I need other people.

  • The void doesn't answer as always, so you close the door and go about your daily business.

  • Day 31.

  • You wake up, take a shower and breakfast soup, your coffee still scrolling the feet on your phone.

  • You absent mindedly open the door and don't even register at first that something's changed.

  • You grasp the bag on the floor and realize you're grabbing the empty air.

  • You look up all around you.

  • Doors are opening and people are emerging from their homes.

  • You look at each other fascinated, and then crane your next to look at the blue sky above.

  • But something's not right.

  • You look around and notice it on the walls of every building.

  • There's a single phrase written in black.

  • Appreciate what you have, and then the phone starts ringing.

  • Friends and family are calling.
