Is that a good thing? Do you get along with your family? -Oh, my gosh, yeah. So, I was telling some friends earlier -- Everyone's always asking, like, "How are you doing with this whole quarantine thing, and blah, blah, blah, You're with your family. Like, how is that?" And I keep saying, you know that saying like you can't choose your family? -No, yeah, exactly. -Well, I would totally choose them. -Aww, that's so nice. -Yeah, and I just -- Like, I've always known that, but I came to that realization the other day, was I was just like, "I would totally choose every member of my family." -That's fantastic. So, who is there? Who is in your family? -So, my mom and dad are here, and my older sister, Dallas, and my younger sister, Madison, and then we have five dogs. [ Laughs ] -Wow. -Yeah, 'cause I have two dogs. And I live in a building, so it's just not safe for me right now to be living there with, like, other people right now that travel a lot. So I'm -- I, like, went to my mom's, and it's been so nice. -I heard that you've been getting back into painting, 'cause you have this -- -Yes. -I am not a painter at all, by the way, but I have -- I do have, like, a setup here, just so you can see what I have. -Ooh, let me see. Wait, nice place. -Right? -Oh, my gosh. That's so nice. -I mean, I'm ready for painting, but I've just never done it before. But I thought it'd be kind of fun if maybe we painted a portrait of each other since we're BFFs. -Yes, absolutely. -Yeah? -Let's do that. Let me grab -- -Yeah, you go. -There we go. Okay. Let's get started. Let's do it. -This could be fun, right? -I'm ready. Are you ready? -Not really. I'm really not good. So I'm really kind of scared, 'cause I want it to be -- I want it to be you. -Well, I want it to be you, so I'm scared, too. And I'm not that great, either. I've just been doing it for fun. I've been painting a little, but that's it. -Alright. While we're painting, you had some pretty epic performances recently. -Thank you. -And really, hopefully, I gave you a message through Scooter just to say how awesome you were. -Aww, thanks. -But you were -- The Grammys was insane. -Aww, thank you so much. -What was going through your mind when you did that? -So, when I did the Grammys, I was so nervous, and it had been actually kind of a rough day. You know, earlier that morning, everyone had found out that Kobe had passed. So it was a very somber day in the arena. It was at Staples. And it was just, like, I was very nerv-- nervous, but I also was very confident. I'd been, like, practicing so much and waiting on that performance for so long. I always hoped that if I stepped back on-stage, that that would be the song that I would sing. -I loved the beginning of it, 'cause you were like -- You started, then you go, like, took a breath. You're like, "Let's start it again." I was like, "No one ever does that." And I thought it was awesome, 'cause I was, like, rooting for you. I was nervous for you. And I go [Gasps] and then you just crushed it! -Oh, thank you. -And I was so happy. I'm like, "Ah, I'm so proud." I was flipping out. That was so cool. And I'm like, I could just imagine the pressure in being there, and everyone in that audience is your peers. -Oh, yeah, and people you look up to. Like, there's people in there I idolize or people that I want to work with, and you want to be able to prove yourself when you go in there and you do it, because you want those people to think, "Oh, wow, you know, they would be dope to collaborate with," or something. So there's a lot of pressure in that room when you do it. But I got emotional because I saw my family, my mom and my sisters sitting in the front row. And that, to me, was, like, really, really special, because the last time we all listened to that song together was when I was in the hospital. And I didn't know if I was going to sing again. So it was a really beautiful moment for all of us, and that's why I was so emotional when we started the song. -Can we talk about the new song? -Yes! -Of course I loved it immediately, but "I Love Me," I love the message behind it. -Thank you. -And obviously, people love it, as well. But it's -- Man, you got pipes. You can sing so well. I just love it. Every time you even come on the show and we've done Musical Impressions -- I mean, your Cher is un-- -Yeah. [ Laughs ] -People freak out, dude. I mean, it's phenomenal. -Thank you. -Are you working on any impressions while you have -- -Well, you know, I've been watching a lot of "Schitt's Creek." -Oh, yeah. -So, my favorite character on "Schitt's Creek" I have to say is Moira Rose. -Ah. -So I don't -- You got to give me something to say, and then I'll do it. -Okay. Alright. Say, "I could never go to the store right now. It's too lovely of a day." -[ As Moira ] "I could never go to the store today. It is too lovely of a day." -[ Laughing ] Oh, my gosh. That is exactly her. You nailed that. -[ Normal voice ] It needs some work, but I'm getting there. Thank you. -I've been doing -- I just saw "Knives Out." Everyone told me to watch that movie. -Yes. -And I realized that Daniel Craig, he really chose, like... [Southern accent] a very Southern character. -Yes. -"How could he be coming in here when I was standing over there?" [ Normal voice ] So I've been just doing that over and over and over again. -That was good. -I want to make sure the part is right here in your hair, as well. -I'm getting your eyes right now. -You are? -Yeah. -I think I'll have the eyebrow there, I think. This is interesting. It's a really -- -Mine is so bad, so bad. -Yours is bad? -So bad. -[ Laughs ] -I kind of love it, though. Like, it's bad, but, like, good. Oh, my God. What is happening with your nose? You've got a vagina for a nose. -[ Laughing ] Oh, my God. -I'm so sorry. -I'd be lying if I didn't hear that before. No, I'm just kidding. -[ Cackles ] -[ Laughs ] -Oh, my God. I am so sorry, Jimmy.
