This is the lock picking lawyer, and what I have for you today is the model 8 10-1 padlock from the Swedish company Anchor Loss.
It's a small but high quality padlock that's obviously not going to withstand a great deal of physical force.
But it does pack a fair bit of pick resistance and weather resistance into a very small package that makes it a great option for low security outdoor applications, things like electrical panels.
It has a disk detainer core with 11 disks in it, which is well above average, and those disks all have false gates.
So between the number of disks and those false gates, it should be a very tricky pick.
The first thing we do when picking a lock like this is rotate all of those disks as far clockwise as they will go, and it seems like a couple of them are hanging up.
But I think I have all those disks where they belong, and I'm going to get the pick that Bosnian Bill and I made pickup disc number one, and we're going to find, disc to and get to picking, So number two is loose.
Three is loose.
So it was four five six, upping on seven.
Okay, eight is binding.
Nice click there.
So is nine.
I got a quick out of nine, but still feels like it's binding.
There we go.
Getting movement in the gate.
Nothing on 10 or 11.
Back to the beginning.
Nothing On 23 for quick out of five.
Quick out of six.
Seven is binding.
Quick.
There.
Nothing on eight, nine, 10 or 11.
Okay, Nothing on 23 Okay, four is binding.
There we go.
Got some movement.
Quick out of five.
Quick out of six and we open this up.
So, as you saw a fair bit of pick resistance, particularly for its size, and to round off the package, a pretty good price is well, these air currently selling on Amazon for just $25 for a two pack.
In any case, that's all I have for you today.
