  • Oh, it works now.

  • All right, Cool.

  • I can't hear anything, So I'm not sure.

  • Exactly.

  • Have life.

  • Shame works this technology stuff.

  • You know, I don't really know much about it.

  • You know, last time I did live from actual had a goal of what I want to talk about.

  • But this time I'm just hanging out.

  • I was gonna make a video today, but sad to live stream instead.

  • Yeah.

  • I don't know what the delay is from the real time to the video to jet, so there's a little bit of delay going on here, but I see that audio is working now.

  • Says good chest filling up fast.

  • You got to make sure if you'll tell us any questions here that I'll be able to hit it.

  • I've also been messing with these output output settings When it comes to he's output settings, when it comes over, Yes.

  • I got to make sure it all works right.

  • Was of the ash from India.

  • Lot of con Sean.

  • Okay, Boomer, let's of RG by Hunter.

  • All right, cool.

  • A our house.

  • I was development coming along.

  • It's not it's not having done.

  • I was development in a while.

  • Now, Junior, you're not gonna vision, do you?

  • Hang out and help me get this.

  • No doubt to deploy through Roku.

  • I didn't even use a note.

  • Have don't lots of love from the UK Your videos help me secure my first software.

  • Deb job six months ago is a Web developer.

  • Many things, No problems like Dragon.

  • I'm glad I could help.

  • What's up, Eggar?

  • Carson Hassan.

  • Portugal would be really cool is if I could see on this where all y'all are tuning in from.

  • So I know there's a lot of people from India, United States north and south of here in Canada and Mexico, down in Brazil, Portugal and pretty cool to see where everyone's from.

  • Arkansas.

  • Another Portugal.

  • Dublin, Ireland.

  • So y'all are y'all been celebrating since his weekend, Huh?

  • American Cowboy couldn't get it done.

  • That is, if you paid attention to USC.

  • How's the coffee going?

  • Covers going good, Really?

  • There's a bag of coffee right back there that to keep back there, you know, keep that aroma in the room, but coffee's going good.

  • Thank you for asking.

  • I'm Computer Science Student College.

  • What are the most important languages to learn I have only been taught java well, for whatever you want to do, that's gonna be the most point language before you're doing right now.

  • Spoke some computer science.

  • Then whatever language they're teaching you in computer science to get the best grades to be able to learn the most estimates support.

  • Because higher you can get in one language, the easier it'll be able to go on laterally and learn C plus plus from Java or even python from Java or any other language.

  • So make a little bit easier as you go through, as long as you learn one language and then transfer instead of learning the basics of each everyone.

  • Bryce Bolton, you're from Peng.

  • Go to That's Ryan from Blackwater now, but close enough.

  • How many applications you expect from plant to 100 online?

  • How many applications do you expect from flying to 100?

  • Online?

  • Do you mean how many responses of your applications?

  • It depends.

  • Did you cater those resumes to the job you're applying to, or did you just have one generic resume and say Here, take it.

  • Take it.

  • Take it.

  • Take it.

  • Take it.

  • If you just said here, take it.

  • Take it.

  • That may be one.

  • Maybe none.

  • Maybe too, if you're lucky.

  • But if you catered the resume towards every single job you got that you apply to, then a better chance.

  • Knots Island.

  • Yeah, my buddy.

  • Nobody lives out there and not silent.

  • A few friends over there.

  • Nuts Island, Virginia, Virginia side or North Carolina side?

  • Probably probably North Carolina, Brazilian and Netherlands.

  • Boring old North Texas.

  • Uh, man, this is cool.

  • I like this.

  • Even though it's the only time I ever stream.

  • Do you play video games?

  • Greetings from Greece.

  • It's almost 1 a.m. here.

  • Yeah.

  • I used to play when I was in like, middle school.

  • Called the Duty Moment.

  • Referred to on Xbox, of course.

  • And in a play, Water Warcraft.

  • We didn't really tell many people that played that time, but I don't really care about talking about it now and then.

  • I play fortnight sometimes not too much anymore.

  • You're for Blackwater, man.

  • Straight out of red Red.

  • Dead redemption, huh?

  • I'm from you.

  • Not read.

  • I'm from Red Dead Redemption.

  • So I guess that makes sense.

  • C++ worth learning in 2020 yet?

  • Java, Scotland?

  • No, I just really like Java.

  • I'm biased.

  • But Colin, I mean, seems like that's a move when it comes to Ah, like Andrew Development, how many jobs did you apply to before getting a job?

  • You got out of college?

  • Well, the thing is, the way I got my job when it came out of college when I came out of college is from an internship I had while I was in college.

  • So before I really had the time to start applying to a bunch of different jobs, was already in communication with the owner of the company for the job that I got when I graduate from college that I held for up until the second half of last year.

  • So not much.

  • But if we actually want to answer that question in a real way, more realistic way.

  • How many job, How many internships that I applied before I got the internship that led to that job seven or eight.

  • And I got two of those internships that I applied to out of those seven or eight your your channel, help my change careers and get my first Deb job in without a degree without having a degree pretty cool.

  • You know, as wild as I remember, my dad was talking to me.

  • He knows this owner of Ah, I don't know.

  • Maybe it has to be software development, I think is the owner CEO something of this sulfur development firm, if you will.

  • Let's just pretend that's what the person who owns.

  • And that guy said that his best.

  • So for developers are the guys that are self taught because those are the people.

  • At least that's what he thinks.

  • Those were the people who actually get whatever needs to be done done because they're genuinely interested in learning.

  • A lot of people go to college just to get a college degree in or to get a job.

  • Not always.

  • Because they're genuinely interested in learning.

  • Take without what you will.

  • Ron.

  • Farce Run.

  • Yeah.

  • Haven't heard that one before.

  • All right, I've seen it.

  • I've seen your three Converse, sir.

  • N c Bryce.

  • I see something on the web.

  • Vilma.

  • Student in the Netherlands.

  • I got my first part time react Jazz job.

  • Thank you for inspiring me.

  • Not a problem.

  • Congrats on Congrats on the job.

  • React Js get to it.

  • What projects are you playing on building fun, artificial intelligence projects, machine learning, if you will.

  • Interns and temps or some of the best hires I can agree.

  • Coating phase.

  • What's up, man?

  • What do you like more webbed?

  • Ever mobile.

  • APS?

  • Uh huh.

  • I like both different facets of them really interests me.

  • The reason I got into the mobile, Devlin like, off the get because it is less confusing.

  • I was development.

  • You're gonna be coding and swift as the language ex good as the I d.

  • And you're gonna be putting up on the APP store When it came to wed Development.

  • I'm like, look at all these different technologies and text editors and 90 years and I could be using gonna have to do the back and in front.

  • And there's a lot more that went into it, at least in my mind that I was leaning on mobile APS off the gate.

  • But now what?

  • I did him a job was straight up full stack development, everything from front and back in database and in between.

  • And I think, whether I think Web apps yeah, C sharp for games C plus plus for the rest coating.

  • Jesus, I address this innit?

  • Another video.

  • You'd be surprised if you didn't see that video.

  • How many people comment about how I look like Jesus?

  • The beard and hair.

  • Okay.

  • What has been a favorite project?

  • You worked until date?

  • Um, probably this artificial intelligence sudoku solver that I created because I went ahead and created the game and then went ahead and created the algorithms in order to solve the game.

  • And that was a lot of fun.

  • And I have really loved the Joker's when I was younger, I did them all the time.

  • So just to be able to kind of have that come full circle and integrated into coating that was a lot of fun.

  • Maybe I'm maybe that's also recency bias.

  • Because while I did that, the ree years ago, maybe maybe two years now two or three years ago will say I've been doing a lot of artificial intelligence work lately.

  • So recency bias Israel thing.

  • So considering them in tow, artificial intelligence again, that that's probably why I answered it like I did motivation for coding, please.

  • Well, motivation I have for coding is just have fun while doing it.

  • Here's a thing when it comes to coding.

  • Sometimes you don't feel motivated, even though you know you like coding One night, you know, you may know you have phone back your head, go ahead and sit down working a little problem for 5 10 minutes.

  • Next thing you know, an hour's going by and you've been getting to work.

  • But I like to say it's less motivation.

  • Maur discipline.

  • If you want to get something done and you gotta make get part of your daily routine part of your life, that this is what I got to do.

  • Like people who go to the gym, they make sure that they go to the gym every single day or every other day, or whatever their schedule is to make sure that they get everything done that they need to get done.

  • Well, a.

  • I learned to code.

  • I don't know.

  • I don't know if supposedly there are application.

  • There's artificial intelligence that are already creating their own APS under Amazon.

  • I've heard that through the grapevine, don't know how true that is.

  • Don't know if it's online, never looked into it, but maybe they already are coating, But can they change?

  • Their own code?

  • Is a whole other question, in my opinion, because having something that could be able to write code okay, that's still wild.

  • But that's a little bit more plausible than having a program and artificial intelligence being able to change its own code in order to be able to do basically whatever it wants.

  • It is, is Python the only way to a I and machine learning?

  • Ah, lot of people do python.

  • A lot of people like Python.

  • I created a few things with Python, but again I'm biased.

  • I like Java been doing a lot of, ah, looking into processing.

  • It's like a what's the best way to describe this is like the It's like a layer over top of Java in order to get into like a Maur visualizing aspect of artificial intelligence in the programs that you write, who are We are here and we need help.

  • I don't know what that means to sell for engineer, require math or math literacy.

  • Certain aspects of it, Yeah, deep learning.

  • Yeah, that applies.

  • When I was, uh, just saying it just it just I don't know.

  • It's it's interesting when it comes to how far we think these things can go and how far they actually can go.

  • Do you think that team treehouse tech degrees we're pursuing I don't know if they could teach you how to do what they're technically says, then my guess.

  • So I don't let me take a step back.

  • I hope what I just said.

  • But I'm not sure that the degree itself will hold any weight for applying to jobs.

  • I think that the stuff that you learn in the projects that you build and put on your resume in portfolio will help you get a job.

  • I'm sorry, my injured job class in two weeks.

  • Do you have any advice?

  • If you're in, like, a college or something, then I would say for advice, Look into if you have a book that you read the chapters try to get ahead.

  • Whatever material that you're gonna be learning, I know a little bit harder if you're just starting off into coding.

  • So when you enter the semester, try to be ahead of the schedule.

  • If you know you're gonna talk about variables or functions in the next class, then read up on him, read upon a chapter that you're about to learn because while if you read up on it off the get, you may not understand it.

  • When it comes into class, you'll start being able to connect the dots.

  • Then, when you go home and do the assignment, or however your classes structured, you'll be ableto basically have three looks at it while everyone else has maybe one or two.

  • So just be prepared to be prepared for the class.

  • That way you can actually understand what the instructor is talking about computer science herself for engineering and why.

  • Well, I did computer science degree.

  • I feel like most colleges offered you to science degree.

  • It's more versatile in the sense that I feel like if you get a computer science degree, it's you can get a soft engineering job or any other fast set that falls within computer science.

  • But I think suffrage near you know, 100%.

  • That's what you want to do.

  • Hey, I can't really go wrong there, can you?

  • So I take the aye aye internship or the Web and Mobile Full stack development.

  • Do whatever you find the most interesting and look into the company's in the positions and see how much of the work they say, is the work that you do.

  • What happened to your trading about program that you were going to share?

  • Well, I was looking for a project to not only build for myself, it build and share with the channel.

  • And at the time when it came to the stock train algorithm, some people showed interest.

  • But in regards to the amount of views that it got in the first week or two on the amount of comments relative to those views, I didn't see enough interest in it for me to pursue that and put all that work into it for a video.

  • Siri's Now, uh, now there's a lot more people who are interested in, and I think there's another fella who made this trading baht video and that kind of viral.

  • And then I'm assuming that my video was in the recommendation.

  • A lot of people clicked on that.

  • The resource is when it comes to coding in stock trading algorithm.

  • So a lot of people been asking me about that lately, but as it sits right now, it's not having and the latest video at 3 10 it says we need you, who are they, uh I have to look into that.

  • Do you think C++ is good for getting an internship?

  • Yeah.

  • I mean, yeah, it's a coating internship.

  • You have C plus plus, Even if they knew jobber see shock for something similar.

  • You have c++.

  • And it's an internship, so they understand.

  • You're just, like, at the basic level.

  • Yeah.

  • I've been three months on the Web, Dev internship and hit any.

  • Well, you just hopped up in a chat there.

  • Any tips on how to get hired?

  • It depends.

  • You want to get hired at the company in which you're interning, or do you want to get hired?

  • A different company?

  • If you want to get hired at the company you're interning, then apply to a job.

  • Uh, if they have an open position, then apply to a job there in the mirror, Recognize your name.

  • Go ahead, hand your resume to the person you know is gonna be looking through the resumes personally instead of doing online or do it both.

  • There just got to get the word out there that Hey, you want a web development position where you're working otherwise, just share your experience on your resume and then give it to the other company.

  • If you're not looking at a job at your current internship company, Tinsel not being nervous during interviews, I seem to not be myself during interviews.

  • I guess I just need to do it more good old shot a liquor?

  • No, no.

  • Um, I would say I'm not very good at giving that advice because I go in straight the autopilot when it comes to internships, and I get nervous as well, so I don't know.

  • I don't know what to tell you.

  • Jesus Abroad.

  • Degree for student doing bachelors in it.

  • How could he know which field to dive into any tip shadow from Pakistan, By the way, great videos.

  • Thank you, Mohammed.

  • I would.

  • Here's the thing when it comes to the field you want to dive into.

  • It's exactly that.

  • Whatever you want to dive into, if just whatever interest piqued your interest the most, maybe have to take a few different electives and that allow you to better decide what you like.

  • No.

  • Jumped again.

  • He double program rather than computer hardware in computer science college classes.

  • Can you do more programming rather than computer hardware in computer not her research.

  • I understand that question, but computer science classes and computer science classes you doom or programming than anything that comes to computer hardware.

  • Are you gonna let this guy?

  • If Yes.

  • What is your favorite?

  • Destro?

  • Yeah.

  • I used to be strictly a boon to just cause that's what he used it work.

  • But now I use arch.

  • By the way.

  • I can't.

  • I can't.

  • I can't mean without smiling.

  • Not very good.

  • Is it necessary to transfer to I do actually use our clinics.

  • By the way, that I really like it in the customization.

  • What not?

  • It's a necessary to transfer to a four year university or is a associates degree enough to be able to get a job?

  • I don't I don't know.

  • I've never been through the process of only an associate's degree and then applying to other places so you have to test that out.

  • Get back to us.

  • I think your portfolio, as well as your associate's degree, will work in your favor.

  • About to start bachelors, a computer science, Any suggestions?

  • But I'm in advance.

  • I'm advancing Python.

  • I learned on my own and you Demi you to me.

  • I know what you mean is any suggestions.

  • I mean, I would just say I made quite a few videos when it comes to preparing for a computer science degree in things, that nature.

  • So take a look at those.

  • But when it comes to right now, definitely go into these classes, whether it's python class or Java class or C plus plus, as if you don't know anything.

  • Because here's the thing.

  • Some of these classes I knew a little bit and when we had the 1st 345 weeks of class and like I already know all this stuff and then, you know, week 89 and 10 hit and I thought, Oh, I could just treat it like I did the first few weeks by not really studying that much because I already know this stuff and they hit hard because, well, I actually had to study because when I didn't study, I wouldn't I wouldn't do too well.

  • I won't learn too much because I didn't know that part of it.

  • So just go in there, pretend that you don't know, don't know anything.

  • By that I mean with an open mind at a big argument about this.

  • But do you think calling yourself software engineer when you have only done Web development is right, by the way, anyone can call themselves what they want.

  • But is it right?

  • I guess it depends what you mean by Web development.

  • If it's front and development on Lee, then I mean in my mind is that's not considered a softer engineer.

  • It doesn't really.

  • Oh, that's coding face in my mind that doesn't really concern.

  • Consider it as a soft engineer.

  • But, you know, Web development idea what development?

  • But I did front in, you know, typescript and bootstrap in HTML.

  • Things that nature.

  • And back in at the Java spring boot overturned a database.

  • I would consider myself a software engineer, so that's just my take on it.

  • So, yeah, you do more programming.

  • I already answered that question.

  • I I tried to answer that question.

  • What's up?

  • What's up, Nico?

  • Start learning about programming.

  • Can you recommend me some lessons, please?

  • You just have to dive in as someone who was interested in learning.

  • And here's the thing when you're first starting out learning, you really want to be in in a situation where all right I want to follow this single path so I can get to the top.

  • It's fastest possible.

  • Even that's what I say.

  • You know, pick a language, start building things so you can get this experience as you can in that language.

  • But in order, pick that language.

  • There's a whole lot of research that goes into it because just your pure desire to learn will take you to all ends of the Internet, learning just reading up on what you could build with Java what you could build with C plus.

  • Plus, it's probably what brought you to much handle learning a little bit about computer science, learning a little bit about what, you know, languages Should I learned to do artificial intelligence, and then you're like, Oh, look at all these different ideas and text editors and you just start doing a little bit of research here and there about all of those different things and all of that knowledge over the span of 345 10 years is what will make you a good software engineer.

  • While some people may be focused enough to just just do all right, I'm interested in Cody Java.

  • I'ma do Java I'ma be amazing at it and they don't really see anything else.

  • You're straight up tunnel vision.

  • I don't know anybody like that if if you're like that, good on you.

  • But I think all that all these questions that you're asking and everything that you look up regarding these questions and your interests I think that's a good thing.

  • So look at it as a good thing not It's something like I just want hurry up and learn so I could get a job and get paid.

  • Just enjoy the process.

  • What classes did you take in college?

  • Go on.

  • Old Dominion University Computer science curriculum.

  • Look at the mandatory classes and computer science as well as your general education.

  • Those are all the classes I took along with, uh, at development as an elective, artificial intelligence classes and elective and a few other Web development as an elective.

  • Those are the classes I took in school could ever fully with one big project, using all my skills, get me hired because it could.

  • What tip can you give me on starting university?

  • That isn't programming.

  • I can already answered that tonight in your current job, what self development model he used.

  • I don't have a current job anymore.

  • This is my current job.

  • I'm really struggling to decide between math, math, literacy.

  • Because if I choose Met lit, I'm scared.

  • I'm scared and not get these.

  • Well paying jobs and matted to me is difficult.

  • You have any suggestions?

  • I don't.

  • I don't I'm sorry.

  • I'm not sure which way you should go with that age.

  • Want to stop by and let you know?

  • The coffee order came in yesterday.

  • My girlfriend.

  • I love it.

  • Delicious.

  • Have a good stream session, man.

  • Thank you.

  • Desson will appreciate that.

  • I always love to hear feedback when it comes to that, starting with bashers and cyber security.

  • What are your thoughts on it?

  • Cyber security is Coop.

  • What you want to do?

  • Penetration, testing or something in that room.

  • Look for your comment.

  • Who's that?

  • That Who was that?

  • What?

  • Did I just see that comment cooled Engine 360 with copyright sign in the trademark there.

  • What do you want to be?

  • Penetration tester.

  • I'm just curious if you don't know yet.

  • Hey, you don't know yet.

  • That's cool too.

  • Only creating portable job development environment on a USB How do I accomplish this?

  • I don't think this video this life seems long enough to answer all that.

  • Would you recommend me to do computer studies instead of computer science?

  • Which one is easier and which one has the least amount of programming?

  • Computer studies are not sure.

  • I don't even know what goes into computer studies.

  • Is that, like computer engineering?

  • His computer engineering versus computer science, Then computer engineering has less programming the computer science, but it still is programming.

  • I love how you share your knowledge with every one like you do you actually care?

  • Compared to many others, I got the programming a lot more because of your videos.

  • Thank you.

  • Go appreciate that.

  • Do you only use Lennox even for gaming?

  • No.

  • What?

  • The computer I'm on right now is actually Windows 10.

  • Maggie, I actually plan on making a video here because most people starting out, they don't.

  • They may not know much about Lennox, and I don't know much.

  • Yeah.

  • May not know much about Lennox, so they only have Mac os or Windows 10.

  • I think I want to take someone, make a video where I take you through the entire process of going from Windows 10 and downloading your i D and dogs market and coding up an application and creating a lot of stuff.

  • Hold on one sec.

  • I'll be right back.

  • Alright?

  • Audio's working again.

  • I don't know how that got me.

  • You did?

  • I'm going back up in the instance of questions While the chat catches up.

  • My counselor told me to take one inch of java to insert of that structures three to ST structures for assembly language of machine organizations are all those necessary?

  • Did you take those?

  • I took intro java.

  • Well, I took what I do.

  • First I do job or C plus plus at a job.

  • That one course.

  • I think so.

  • Do you?

  • I didn't, like, basically intrude to C plus plus for two years.

  • And then we transfer that knowledge over to Java.

  • But yeah, I did an insurer to programming language, data structures, discreet structures, and then assembly language.

  • I think we called it something else, but yeah, this is necessary.

  • You're going through computer science.

  • They ought to have some type of work flow of the curriculum.

  • So follow that.

  • I can't believe the chat hasn't even hasn't even caught up yet.

  • Or at least I hope it hasn't caught up yet because I see that Mike is working now.

  • But I still see people saying that there's no audio.

  • So, uh, I'm not gonna talk that cause I don't think that'll get back to me here soon is working again.

  • I'm assuming that it's working again.

  • Okay, so I want to ask about how how can we learn about the NBC and others and what not?

  • I think that has been.

  • That was a question that I answered when Mike was muted.

  • So I think there's a course by Harvard.

  • I don't remember if it's their Internet programming course, or if it is there I was development course.

  • I kind of get those intertwined sometimes.

  • And they go over the professor there at Harvard.

  • Mind you, this is free on YouTube.

  • Video course goes over N V.

  • C.

  • So Thio consider taking a look at that.

  • Maybe Stanford, actually, what?

  • I know just do some research on it, and you'll you know, things will start falling together.

  • What?

  • You read more and more about it.

  • Do you like them?

  • Yeah.

  • Cool.

  • Trying to go away.

  • Back up see if Cool Ninja responded.

  • I couldn't see so some responded to cool ninja.

  • But I don't I didn't see your response from my initial question.

  • Hey, far is what suggested do you have for upcoming youtuber?

  • Well, if this is your main account, you know, get a profile picture, do some channel art and then bring some value.

  • Here's the thing.

  • You gotta you gotta remember that a lot of people you need to be able to bring value to them, not just hope that they watch your videos because you think they're entertaining and then make sure you thumbnails on point.

  • Make sure your titles are enticing and it's just just stick with it and all.

  • I'm c I am 3.5 years into YouTube, and I I remember, like for the first year, I'm like, I think things are gonna go well, but I I didn't think that I was like, five years.

  • Maybe I'll hit 100,000 subscribers and I think those after two or three years, I had 100,000 drivers.

  • Now we're, like 172,000 So I mean, I was just making it.

  • I mean, I kind of discuss.

  • Why started YouTube?

  • Why continued with with YouTube and coding and things that nature.

  • So in the last video, a big fan Roe from South Africa, T.

  • Rowe and you have got me in the right path and doing my first year in sulfur engineering doing internships after your advice.

  • Good stuff, good stuff.

  • When was the moment you're you considered yourself to be a cell for developer after you were able to do the task given to you at your job or after building projects that you understood?

  • I don't know.

  • I don't really know if there's like that one moment where it's just like, all right, I'm a software developer now.

  • I mean, don't get me wrong.

  • Once I had a job as a software developer saw fringe near tomato potato.

  • I consider myself a cell for developer, but I think I should consider myself a cell for developing.

  • Before that you especially feel like a soft developer.

  • If there's a program that you're struggling on and you finally fulfill the program that hand and complete it, you really feel like it's offered of a softer developer.

  • That point.

  • Why is your discord service so quiet and What's your discord?

  • Well, I felt like this in all honesty, I started this court server, so I could I want to kind of hop into it maybe once a week and kind of kind of chat.

  • But I realized that without me in there, not many people.

  • I mean, people chat with each other sometimes, but I don't know.

  • I think I'm just gonna freeze the discord server are deleted or shut down.

  • Some manner so made with the next few weeks.

  • Why's is going to be your only life seeing this is fun.

  • Yeah, well, I didn't know what else in titlists, and I don't I plan on doing any future life streams In all honesty doesn't mean I It may mean I won't.

  • I don't know.

  • It'll be interesting.

  • All right.

  • So cool into 360 said I'm probably going into security.

  • Softer developments since I have a boat.

  • The passion for coding and networking.

  • By the way, what language would you suggest after C plus Plus, I don't know.

  • That's really cool that security saw for development.

  • So you know, you're no script script, kiddie.

  • You'll have the pin penetration testers using your software.

  • If that's a route you go.

  • I guess there's different facets when it comes to security self development.

  • But I don't know what language I would suggest that receive.

  • Plus plus, it just depends when it comes into, all right, Actually, here's a little bit better advice than I don't know when it comes to security cell for development and you know you're going to get your cybersecurity degree.

  • Look into what places you can work if you have.

  • If you want to stay at home, look at places around where you live.

  • That offer job that you want to dio and look into what languages and tools that they use.

  • And if you know you want to apply to that place and work in that place, then followed through with that.

  • If they use python, go with python.

  • If they use Java, Goa, java, they go c++.

  • Continue advancing your skills, and it was.

  • Plus, I still have people saying that the audio is good.

  • Now.

  • I think you all need to hit live on this.

  • Move my chest behind.

  • Sorry, Maybe I need a hit.

  • Live on this have a basic knowledge and a lot of things like cyber security, Android counseling job for her Web competitive programming, linens and others.

  • What career would you suggest?

  • Which ever?

  • One floater.

  • But it doesn't exactly.

  • Obviously you have a just a genuine interest in all of this.

  • So if you like all of them equally, look at me.

  • Just pick one pick.

  • Want to go with it?

  • I love you.

  • Brought from India.

  • King suggest me something for Internet of things in machine learning combined.

  • I don't know.

  • I've I've done I've tried Internet of things, you know, work with little bit of hardware here and there and whatnot the machine learning make games and created artificial right algorithm that I learned how to play the game.

  • Do you go live on twitch?

  • I'm going level twitch in a very long time.

  • When you thought an android development I've read an article that says that companies won't put a lot of money on both Iowa Senator development.

  • Where where there are cross about from technologies, some companies do.

  • I mean, the big tech companies, they typically d'oh.

  • I mean, you have Airbnb where a couple of years ago they used thio have react Js integrate into the application.

  • But I think it's react.

  • Yes, Uh, I may be wrong, are react native.

  • Rather You know what I meant.

  • Whatever the mobile is.

  • And then they ended up taking it out and just going straight up.

  • Native, they do have flutter now, which I believe is Google, which is very interesting because of the language that you use for flutter is different than the language that you use for developing.

  • Android applications would be really cool if you know right now.

  • Because because Google owns Android would be really cool right now.

  • That and Google, instead of saying hey, Katelin for android natively, they would say what they used dark for flutter.

  • Whatever it may be, let's use that to create the android applications and use our technology from Florida to create the IOC applications, Jerry building a native android application and then a cross platform, if you will.

  • I ose applications using the floor technology.

  • I always wondered why they didn't let go about that.

  • Obviously, it's easier said than done, but cool thought, huh?

  • I'm in my last year on Khalid.

  • I'm in my last semester of C s degree.

  • How can I polish my concept for job interview?

  • Which concepts needs to be revised Which personal projects I should do to decorate my CV.

  • Please guide me for whatever job you're applying to like.

  • This is very broad example.

  • But bear with me here if you've created Web applications and mobile applications, and let's just stick with those two.

  • If you're applying to somewhere that doesn't Web development, then put up your Web applications.

  • If you're applying to place that does mobile development, put your mobile applications and maybe put, you know, may put two of your mobile applications and want a Web application.

  • Or put up two of your Web applications in one mobile application.

  • Just all depends on where you're applying.

  • Just make sure you Katie your resume there and then wherever you're applying to.

  • If it's a big company going glass door whatever website it may be to see if they have any generic questions that they ask coding questions, interview questions so you could be better prepared.

  • Here's the thing.

  • I don't like to go into an interview and they're gonna ask me all these technical questions, and I don't I have no idea what they're talking about.

  • I like to be prepared for it regardless of whether they tell me or I look it up online.

  • I'm studying front in this year, but I'm not sure what is the safe point to get an internship this year.

  • Where do I need to go?

  • I feel like there's never a good answer to that.

  • I just started applying to places because I realized that I should probably get an internship, and if they ever asked me to do anything, then I'll do my best to figure it out.

  • Do you ever watch videos from other YouTubers and program community?

  • And they give that advice.

  • I definitely don't watch videos from other YouTubers in the program a community, except for maybe one or two, and I don't watch all.

  • There's may be only one or two videos as because I don't want to be influenced by someone else in the making of my own videos, especially within the same space.

  • But I have seen a few of those videos that may have been recommended to me that I found interesting that what is the instrument page of First of Like coffee?

  • At first, apply coffee exactly how you spelled it.

  • No spaces.

  • There should be only a couple like 22 posts.

  • I believe if you go on my instagram forest P night.

  • Look on who I'm following.

  • I'm only following two people my wife, Molly, and then first apply coffee.

  • So that's an easy way.

  • And it should be in the description of this video.

  • Actually, that's actually a easier answer.

  • What do you D'oh, that's not coffee or programming.

  • I mean, YouTube videos and in coffee and then programming.

  • But I also like Thio and I have a lot of different activities that I like to do.

  • Outdoor activities, computer engineering, computer science, which is more valued when it comes to computer engineering.

  • That's more valued when it comes to computer science as more valued.

  • It just depends on where you are.

  • What sector would job job?

  • What job pay far do you recommend college students take this c++ er job are out.

  • I mean, whatever your college teaches you, right, a lot of colleges you hear a lot of colleges air shifting towards python.

  • Personally, I don't like that.

  • I know a lot of y'all are gonna like that.

  • I'm saying this, but I mean, it's not like it's a secret that I feel this way is that I feel like python shouldn't be the first language that you learned.

  • Because while it may be ah, easier barrier to entry if you know nothing about coding, I feel like it makes it more difficult to learn other languages because c++ it java there.

  • Syntax is much more similar than Python and everything else.

  • I feel like python sin.

  • Taxes is just much different than C plus plus in Java and C, Sharp and Swift.

  • Even Scotland like those air in a bubble where they have similar syntax and python.

  • While okay, I can see the similarities there kind of in their own little bubble over here, where I would teach someone job or C plus plus, because the skills that they learn are better transferrable, and that's strictly syntax speaking.

  • But then again, you can create programs and python in like 123 lines.

  • That may take you 10 times the amount in other languages, So I know the arguments.

  • Those were just my thoughts.

  • What you think about coding boot camps.

  • If you go there, you're dedicated.

  • This is what you want.

  • Do you want to learn, and you don't just go there and think that they'll teach you everything.

  • Then that's good, because in high school, for me at least, I know, you know, I go to class kind of attaining nobody information.

  • I'll be able to pass any test that they put at me, maybe do a little bit cramming beforehand, but it comes to coding.

  • That's something that you actually need to dive into in class on your own.

  • A lot of people like to talk about how their self taught developers by having no computer science degree or anything of that nature.

  • But when it comes to you even having a computer science degree, a lot of these people are also self taught because you're not gonna learn everything in class like it's a one hour class a handful of times a week.

  • How much are you really gonna learn?

  • Rather than going after class?

  • Four hours a coating, you gotta learn a whole lot more.

  • What do struggle with most?

  • Win?

  • You first learned to code just I thought there was like I thought there's gonna be a moment where I just started catching on to everything.

  • But I realized that everything is still a struggle.

  • What computer science, computer engineering are largely interchangeable.

  • The only difference is the egos and hardware.

  • CS goes into software.

  • No and yes, computer science in community nearing are largely interchangeable.

  • I disagree with that because of your next point.

  • I feel like a little bit contradictory.

  • The difference is, computer engineering is is largely focused on the hardware side of things where computer science is largely folks on the software side of things.

  • Someone call him interchangeable.

  • But I would call him related.

  • It's information systems a good degree if I want to become a soft engineer.

  • I've always in my mind I've always I've always thought of information Shin Systems more so in the information technology side of things.

  • So I don't know, I don't know.

  • I'm learning Java, and I want to know, Is it possible to clear the console inside the program?

  • You could just talk clear, but yeah, there ought to be.

  • You ought to be able to just have your program clear the council, just like when you're in terminal in your typing clear is seen not applicable anywhere in practical life other than us design.

  • No, I think it extends for there in that But I remember writing and see one time and I didn't like it, so I didn't do any more research beyond that.

  • I think that wasn't operating systems class of mine.

  • What is a better way to start on video games development?

  • So there's a few different ways to go about this.

  • I think, you know, creating simple games like a flappy bird or an asteroid or something like that.

  • Of course, you know, if you don't know anything about it, that may seem a little bit far fetched, but just a simple terminal type application.

  • Let's not even, let's not even say, five bird new animations or anything like that.

  • Let's say tick tack toe like you do take that toe that's technically a game and create that in the terminal, and then you can go that route or well, I do recommend that should be your 1st 1st method.

  • You can also go the game development engine route like fortnight that is created using the epic games on Real Engine, and then you have unity, which a lot of people use for mobile game developed.

  • So I would say just have some fun in the terminal, creating some games.

  • And if you want to do Maura Maura, when it comes to using the engines, then I mean, that's the way you feel as well.

  • Just depends.

  • Personal preference.

  • Do you think it d be a role?

  • Is a good entry point to tech currently and finance, but was to become a software development, a developer doing the self taught route.

  • I feel like a D B a.

  • The database administrator that typically isn't an entry point, is it?

  • I feel like you typically are some sort of, you know, lower level when it comes to the database work.

  • And then you work your way into the database administration position similar to like, I feel like you need to be a software developer.

  • There's a few different things to be a softer developer and a senior, softer developer.

  • And in a tech lead, our project manager or something like that.

  • Then I just feel like a d b a position to something you grow into instead of an entry point.

  • Just started working as back in performance tester.

  • Do you think it would be possible to transition to a developer?

  • Roll down the line?

  • Yeah, Yeah.

  • I mean, yeah, I'm obviously s degree.

  • But that was me reading from the comet.

  • Yeah.

  • I mean, I think he could.

  • As long as you show that you're able to develop the software portfolio, Have you gone through any other courses in your open source computer science degree curriculum?

  • Yeah, I've gone through a few, not as in depth, because I've kind of already done.

  • It is my own computer science degree, but I've gone through a few of them, tried to a few of home, some of my new We're good, Just based on past experience, some of them like like when I was doing some of the poor across I'm like, Is this one better than this one?

  • When it came to like in charge of programming, I think I changed it from the U V.

  • A course to Harvard.

  • The reason I put his u V A course and for Virginia.

  • So maybe I was a little bit biased there.

  • I think I also chose it because of the language.

  • I think they may have gone with Java and Harvard got going with something else.

  • I'm not sure I could be wrong there.

  • Did you go through calculus at University.

  • Yeah, I went through two years of calculus to use a calculus and then, you know, lineage, run all that fun stuff.

  • In all honesty, calculus to, for me was easier than calculus one.

  • I don't know if because the calculus one was like a what do they call it?

  • Not like a filter that there's a word for, but like a filter course.

  • They feel tired.

  • All the people who aren't really serious about it when Cal Kwan and then count to is a little bit easier or because I already knew the fundamentals and a basic so cock to it made a little bit easier.

  • Whatever.

  • And girls just, you know, in a girl's and derivatives was a difference.

  • Advantage.

  • Disadvantages.

  • But where did your comment go?

  • Wasn't between using tools like wet floor in traditional job scripts, he says.

  • A she male, whatever you're doing, creating sites, so I mean, I guess it's just whatever you want.

  • Tokyo.

  • I obviously had experience with HTML CSS bootstrap I would use instead of instead of diving deep into CSS.

  • And then there's that Java script used typescript when I was doing, you know, the traditional development.

  • But when it came to my own site.

  • I knew I knew what I want.

  • I don't want to focus on the development route.

  • I don't want to focus on getting the site up, making good things, that nature.

  • So I thought that Web fl
