  • Hey, guys, we're doing something a little different today.

  • Um, I thought it be interesting if I went through all my social media's and downloaded the data and just saw what's on their cause.

  • Honestly, I've never I've never done this before, and I'm curious.

  • Okay, So all these all these sites are basically gonna email me download your data.

  • Please know that archives may take a long time hours or possibly days to create what?

  • Google and Snapchat ready for download cables.

  • Start a snapshot.

  • All right, so what did Snapshot give me here?

  • It looks like we have some sort of web page.

  • Um, location history.

  • This is interesting.

  • What is this every day?

  • Look at this.

  • So it split the archives into two gigabyte parts, and there's 75 parts because it's 155 gigs of data.

  • Just devote me holy crab.

  • It extracts all.

  • You can't even see what I'm doing.

  • But we're extracting.

  • This is the first ones.

  • This is a There's a two gigabyte archive.

  • We're gonna get the other one's going.

  • Oh, yeah.

  • Wow.

  • They've got a lot of stuff here.

  • Calendar.

  • Can I open this in, like a calendar afterwards?

  • was gonna do.

  • Uh, here we go.

  • Interesting.

  • Oh, yeah.

  • They've got my contacts.

  • Google photos.

  • Wait a second.

  • What is this?

  • What's up with this?

  • You are l Wait.

  • So you're telling me Google just stores it like publicly?

  • For what?

  • Wait a second.

  • Wait.

  • That's a public link.

  • No, it must be because I'm logged in a screenshot kamynin incognito browser, which is like, Wait, look, this is my exam schedule and wait.

  • You're telling me that's just a public link?

  • This is a picture I took about banking information.

  • Somebody could find this girl.

  • It's highly unlikely because it looks like they just created, like, a random.

  • You know, I don't know what the reason for this is gonna This is me editing.

  • I just want to quickly say that I'm not claiming that this is happening.

  • I'm just saying that from my perspective, it looks like this is what's happening.

  • Maybe other people who have Google phones can download their archives and see what they could find.

  • I don't know.

  • I just don't want to make it seem like I'm attacking Google.

  • I'm just saying this is what I found.

  • Oh, what's this?

  • Abandoned house.

  • Okay, That's probably from Google.

  • Drive like you guys can see that, right?

  • It's just downloading in the bottom corner.

  • Like Google must know that they're doing this and I don't really understand.

  • Please, Somebody tell me if I'm incorrect.

  • Okay?

  • This is a video.

  • What the hell?

  • What is it going down?

  • It's downloading my video.

  • So thes are videos I just took on my phone and I didn't post them anywhere.

  • These air just videos.

  • They're sitting on my device.

  • What about the people that take news on their phone?

  • And they think they're safe on their phone and then Google just upload it to the public Internet, Is that not?

  • Is that not a problem?

  • I don't do voice memos anymore, do I?

  • Okay.

  • Could go.

  • Time is sunset.

  • What time is sunset?

  • Wait a second, Wait a second.

  • It was recording before I said Okay, you go Look, it just did it again.

  • So wait a second.

  • What else did I say?

  • Okay, Google.

  • What's the temperature outside?

  • It's literally just always me Ask in temperature.

  • Okay.

  • Google, What's the temperature?

  • Okay, Google, What's the rate of inflation?

  • Okay, Google, How doe I fish Ethernet cable up two floors.

  • Yeah, purchases.

  • What am I worrying?

  • Oh, that's weird.

  • What?

  • I ordered this on eBay.

  • This must be like third party data that eBay is giving to Google.

  • So I'm wondering, is Google buying data from, Oh, Amazon?

  • Oh, ships is returnable.

  • Or maybe it's just because I was logged in with Google, but I was on Amazon.

  • I don't understand.

  • They have my address.

  • They have all this private information Soleri irons when I got a soldering iron.

  • Google has every order that have done on Amazon for E bay.

  • Why?

  • I'm not sure.

  • That was only the first part of Google's data.

  • Remember, there's 75 parts we only looked through report would.

  • But I'm gonna extract these two, and I will see what's up with them.

  • Okay, Googles, with the weather tonight.

  • Okay, so it looks like it's just repeating the same stuff.

  • Um, okay.

  • Google, Have you ever had that kind of diarrhea that just keeps coming and you can't make it stop so that you just stick a broom up your bottle?

  • I saw that wasn't me.

  • So I'm here with some guys that you just met.

  • I'm you know, I'm Nikita.

  • So I've known these guys for a little bit, You know, they're running this tech startup was meeting with them just to see the space and talk about, you know, this video that was recording?

  • No, it's gotta protect it.

  • Can't be.

  • My stuff would be if you found a folder that's like from tomorrow crazy.

  • I'm sure they have just I didn't find any tomorrow.

  • Yeah.

  • So I'm wondering like you said, if I delete it from Google photos released from there like that.

  • Just like that.

  • You deleted it from your phone, and then you deleted it from Google photos, and then you download your data.

  • Check that date.

  • Is that link still a lot?

  • Okay.

  • So you can see this older abandoned house.

  • We're gonna delete the picture.

  • Remove it.

  • Everything from the trash.

  • Delete forever.

  • Do this action.

  • Is the link still active?

  • Looks like it's still active.

  • Okay, so this is, you know, an example of one of the lengths that sent to Where were you guys saying?

  • Basically, my worries that this might be most likely some sort of like container name, for example.

  • Like Asher does a similar thing with blob storage where you'll have like the name of the container, then like this looks like there's multiple slashes in here.

  • So maybe there's like this some path.

  • But my worries that this might be consistent and this is obviously just the first part of the image is just a time stamp.

  • And then so the only really part that looks like it would be generated for uniquely for each image is this last piece, which I'm not even sure if it's it's randomly generated.

  • Or maybe that's even just a time stop, because that could be, like, maybe like the seconds or something else like that as well, right?

  • My fear is that this might be just like the name of a container.

  • So then, if an attacker wanted to like, say, stumbled upon like a celebrities like container or something, that they just have to vary this last little piece, toe like figure, other find.

  • All the same, I'm sure this is all kosher, like I'm sure they're legally allowed to do this.

  • Yeah, I must say it's somewhere like in terms of service, just like the bigger picture of what we're talking about, right?

  • You know, people don't care enough.

  • They should probably care more.

  • I think showcasing like what's available when you do download data is important because it's not really like an immediate security issue or anything.

  • It's just because, like you said, you know, like only if somebody was maybe writing a bought that random weeping may be found.

  • If there is a pattern, try and find the others.

  • But it is possible that maybe this could be a way somebody's pictures could be lead.

  • That's what I found.

  • Interesting is there's a There's a big object like this.

  • Thing's gotta be like that isn't loading up the op now?

  • Yeah.

  • So why is it centered?

  • It'll be all around you.

  • Oh, yeah, Just like did you find a sound block place?

  • Your block on the table is actually making noises.

  • Yeah, that's funny.

  • I just see, like, a little bit.

  • You know what I think is really good?

  • How how it tracked You were saying, You know, with the with the pictures, right?

  • You found you found pictures as well that were public, right?

  • I did in fact, find pictures of public.

  • I found pictures from conversations on Google Hangout.

  • Oh, So that's what the pictures were Oh, but they were inside the Google Photos folder.

  • Oh, and Cameron found the purchases Reservations folder with all all his orders as well.

  • All right, guys, I just want to end this video off on the note that I don't trust.

  • What I said in this video is fact.

  • Of course.

  • Maybe if you're interested, you should do your own research.

  • Everybody who's watching this video as a YouTube account, you can download their data on Google and see if they can find anything in Google photos.

  • Yeah.

  • Going to your own research?

  • Come to your own conclusion.

  • Thanks for watching the video.

  • Uh, yeah, yeah.

Hey, guys, we're doing something a little different today.
