you're very easy.
They do say about crocodiles.
Is the ones you can't say you should worry about lies.
Field.
It's hard to stay relaxed in this nerve racking situation, but if I breathe too hard or quickly, use up my air supply.
The first signs of life.
Awesome squeaker catfish named after the strange noises they make way.
They stick close together partly for protection.
But whether from Tiger Fish or Crocs, I'm not sure.
Just talk way came over just down into one of these drops on there was a love shot.
Whatever.
That is that speak and shut off.
That was a little, I think.
Luckily, it was a lot unnerved.
I head quickly back to the surface, Say that way.
With an active crock close by, I'm anxious to get out fast.
I don't want to offer attempting silhouette for any longer than I need, but, um, unexpected visitor.
But I mean, that's just a lesson, you know?
Yeah, you sort of tune into the Squeakers.
So you're looking for those, but it's It's not to become so preoccupied with those that you're not always also keeping another for something else that feed on these little Squeakers.
Here we are drifting with speakers like a log, my first dive with a crock.
But that's not what I'm here for.
Uh, no talking fish.
What's a little pretty small things?
UH, one place, but tight, efficient.
It's funny her in parts of Africa they do so they have almost supernatural powers on dhe.
It's the last time I was here.
They were everywhere.
There was something huge concentrations on them.
It's almost as if they vanished going into another dimension.
The Okavango is vast, and the tiger fish could be anywhere during the wet winter months.
The whole place teems with life, But the huge extra volume of water is also making my search much harder.
I select a new place to dive a stretch of water where the omens look good, Good.
It's almost like being in a plane and flying in from the store.
It's bright around you on just being taken this case by the current to this area of dark.
But actually, as you approach, it lights up.
But you're always rather concerned about what might be there.
I have to remind myself that I'm here to find tiger fish.
So far, there's no sign of them on my dive.
Time is running out.
Tiger fish have moved on.
I wonder, or is my presence down here making them wary?
It looks right at me Keeps moving.
I follow it trusting in brands theory that the water is still too cold for this large reptile to be in feeding mode.
But even if this is true, the croc will still bite me.
If I get too close to its head.
And with a large struggling object clamped in its jaws, it could then throw itself into a death roll, spinning its body with enough force to dismember me within about a foot of its tail.
Unbelievable.
Get this close way.
Holding tile, talking Eloise Crocodile Harry It makes sense when their body temperature is low on way are a bottle like this tragic silhouette against.
I could do this.
I believe you took my carry enterprises, but it won't be long before the water crooks like this one are getting dangerously warm.
For now, the beast intentions seem benign on.
We're able to swim safely back to our boat, just getting breath back a little bit.
Not necessarily all down to exertion.
Um that was me touching a crock.
A live crock.
Um, I was trying to put into words while I was down there.
What That felt like I was partly, quite detached theoretical about it.
I know what brothers told me about these being very special circumstances.
Here.
The body temperature is right down.
We're approaching them in a way which doesn't make us look like prey because we're on the bottom.
Were not silhouette is above it.
But even so, actually putting that into practice.
Having experienced that, I think I feel that was an important hurdle to get past.
So if we do run into one again, uh, I'm gonna be calm.
And the thing is, I feel I can now focus more on looking for the tigers.
Been continually looking around.
