The sequel for Sin City, titled Sin City: A Dame to Kill, by Robert Rodriguez and

adapted from the stories of Frank Miller, will be in production this summer and casting will start soon.

Rodriguez has confirmed that actors that were present in the first movie,

such as Mikey Rourke and Rosario Dawson, are already confirmed.

Angelina Jolie, who was attached at the time, when years ago the movie

tried to start production with the newly house The Weinstein Company, has not yet been confirmed.

From the interview with Rodriguez, MTV said that the dramatic structure

of the first movie in three acts will stay the same. As an anthology it was fortunate.

At the moment the director is finishing Machete Kills,

the end of which will be very close attached to the new production of Sin City, but that is the project.
