Now, this is a K f a to G T x 6 80 I bought for a budget build project.

It cost me £70 used at C E.

X with a two year warranty.

I'm not sure what I'm actually going to build yet, so I also bought this a GTX 10 50 that in some places costs double the price I paid for the 6 80 having compared the 6 80 10 50 t i many, many months ago and finding that they were quite close in performance.

I then got to thinking about how well the non ti I 10 56 80 would compare on whether or not you should buy the older Kepler beast.

Instead, there's only one way to find out this K f A 26 80 runs at standard reference speeds with a 1000 and six megahertz core clock on 1058 megahertz boost clock.

It features two gigs of G d.

This pallet 10 50 also runs at the reference Speed, stated on invidious website, features two gigabytes of G d.

Six pin connectors required with the latest 397.64 drivers at the time of this video installed, it's time to see how these two cards compare with five modern games, starting with Assassin's Creed Origins.

And I've decided to form at the video in split screen to give you a better side by side comparison.

At 10 80 p.

Lo.

Both cards shared a similar average frame rates, with the 10 50 pulling slightly ahead.

As you can see by the 500.1% low of 19 there was more stutter with the 6 80 especially when turning things up to medium.

Perhaps because of Thievy Ram limitation, though the two gigabyte 10 50 didn't start up nearly as much in far cry five, a side by side benchmark for digit shows nearly identical performance figures from the very almost exact average two matching percentile figures.

The rise and 5 1600 CPU I used never became a bottleneck, meaning at no point did it hold either of these two cards back.

Both cards felt smooth to play with at medium settings.

The other 10 50 in this case seemed to exhibit the occasional stutter in fortnight at high with 10 80 p resolution.

Of course, both cards made light work off this title, averaging around 70 F.

The 1% and 10.1% lows were slightly better with the 6 80 Though this minimal difference couldn't be felt, it's harder to gauge completely accurate figures in games with no built in benchmark toll.

So different areas of the mat may very in determining which of these GP use comes out on top.

Either way, you'll have a decent gaming experience with both.

And as you can see, I've left the temperature of both cards up throughout Onda.

As expected, the 10 50 will always run caller and a little quieter than the old school powerhouse in Pub Ji.

Once again, it's a similar story.

The game averaged around 60 f.

S on both colds, although the maps are different in the footage, the figures were taken after playing across both maps with both cards and working out the average combined again with no built in Benchmark told the results will vary their no matter the map.

The 10 50 will stutter a little more, as seen by the 500.1% low figure on screen again.

If you have a 6 80 you'll have a great time.

And if you have a 10 50 you'll have a great time at medium settings.

Finally, with Ghost Recon wildlands.

Guess what?

The results were stupidly similar with 6 80 pulling very, very slightly ahead, though not enough to feel or notice in actual gameplay.

Here I ran the in game benchmark three times with each card, ran the frappes benchmark test and then recorded some gameplay.

Which might, I say, gave both cards a little bit of a workout with noticeable micro stutters during intensive or explosive scenes.

Over all, these cards come very close.

If you have a 550 what power supply to 16 connectors and confined a 6 80 under £100 or dollars, then it's an ideal choice.

If you want to buy new hardware, have a weaker power supply or just want guaranteed modern support for longer than the 10 50 will be the way to go.

I certainly didn't expect such close results today, though.
