  • What's up, guys?

  • Jay's two cents here and Phil is actually out of town at a wedding.

  • So this one is going to feel very much like classic Jay's two cents because I'm ready to finish my personal bill.

  • We've got all the parts we've been waiting on to get it done.

  • The audio is going to suck.

  • The lighting is gonna be really out of car contrast.

  • Exposure whatever.

  • Give the gift of five performance portable gaming this holiday season with the main here element laptop ville, but all 25 micro center locations The Intel core I 7 97 50 h processor in video, Artie X 2070 Mexico graphics 32 gigabytes of DDR four and two terabyte N v M E S s d.

  • Make the element one of the fastest laptops around.

  • While the magnesium alloy I'd lightweight chassis keeping ultra portable while weighing in at only £4 to learn more about the element laptop for me and gear.

  • And to find the micro center location nears to you click the link in the description below.

  • All right, so here we go.

  • Here is the color scheme that we're going with now.

  • Remember This is a nebula theme called it Nebula because the colors are going with our like a purple and blue, which have a very kind of a galaxy nebula look, So I'm starting wire this all up right now, and I'm noticing I don't like the door that's on this thing because, like I showed in Alaska, when you open it, it's like pinches off all the wires.

  • It makes it very difficult to wire them up.

  • And since I've got my key Beaumont cables right here, I did a piece cable, cable mod.

  • You can follow the Lincoln description below.

  • They are sponsor of ours.

  • They are cable provider.

  • But as you can see, because the wiring here is so short because it's going to such a short run when you open the door, it kind of pinches off.

  • It makes it impossible to get these in there.

  • So I just decided to just take the door off.

  • The problem is that exposed parts of the case that weren't painted on this wall bracket here.

  • And so what I'm gonna do now is I'm gonna take the power supply back out, paint that while I sort of start getting everything wired up.

  • So one of the nice things about the inn when Crown fans that you can see right here we've got six up top to keep things nice and tidy.

  • These fans are daisy changeable.

  • So not only is the power days attainable, so is the RGB.

  • So I've got this one wire right here.

  • It's one cable and that controls both the power for the pumps or the fans as well as the RGB.

  • But I'm not.

  • I wasn't sure whether or not I could actually use all six fans on a single daisy chain.

  • So I wired it up and I'm using this cheap power supply with a fan hub.

  • Kittle bm fan, huh?

  • Here to test it.

  • So I'm just kind of taking you guys along for this ride right here so you can see the way I do a lot of my testing as I go That way, I don't have to redo a lot of things, especially in a build like this.

  • This is not an easy build to take back apart.

  • We're also using a jumper on the end of our 24 pin.

  • This makes it so that when we flip on the switch right here.

  • You get power, and as you can see, all of them are running full speed because I wasn't sure who would lose any voltage across the board.

  • Now, the nice thing about a cease motherboards is they do have I'm looking for it here h amp fan and show There.

  • Right there.

  • It's not focusing, but h and fan hitter, that's high EMP, which is nice that I can pull the wire, right.

  • Phew!

  • That corner and put it in.

  • So I have to do much in terms of wiring swarm into right now is I'm gonna go ahead and get this power supply shroud off of here.

  • That way I can get that painted.

  • I'm not gonna do any polishing to I'm going to a clear coat polishing.

  • It's on the back side and I'm going to see and it's through very tinted glass.

  • But I know what's back there.

  • So that's why I made the tubing back here.

  • As clean as it is.

  • As you can see, we've got This is where it comes up off the pump, goes back over to the G pews, comes out of the GPS into the CPU and then into the top, right and all that.

  • So anyway, let me go and get the shroud off of here.

  • Even though I know it's not gonna be seen, I care.

  • All right, so while that is drying up, show you guys a couple of things that I got.

  • I just also got some thumbscrews that were in the same color.

  • Theme is what I have with cables.

  • And what's nice is I wasn't sure if they were gonna that they appear to be a pretty good match.

  • Good enough anyway.

  • And these thumbscrews are gonna be for various places case, but mostly right here along the P C.

  • I express excuse right there so that we could just add a little bit more color to this because what's the RGB lighting is on.

  • Fans were on and stuff and make a lot more sense to the color theme.

  • So I got purple, black and blue, and I'm really impressed with how well that they match.

  • It's clearly a different shade of purple.

  • This is definitely more of like a point more of a violet, but it's close enough.

  • So I did a black purple, blue, blue, purple, blue blue black sort of similar to how the wow that shows you just how reflective this is, huh?

  • Anyway, but what I'm noticing is the black just sort of blends in because it's so dark in there, any way that I think I'm gonna replace the black purple.

  • So what?

  • Blue flanked by purple.

  • But I love stuff.

  • Little stuff like this.

  • I tried to do this with Skunk works with the green, put the green that I'm using it Skunk Works is just so neon and so bright that analyzing can't get that right.

  • I think I'm gonna have to move that purple up because I've got an extra school, right?

  • So if I got a couple there, it's too.

  • So I'm gonna do to purples in the middle.

  • And I moved those three.

  • All right, so there we go.

  • That is what The purple blue blue purple role playing purple, blue, blue, purple patrol.

  • That's hard to say for purple, purple, blue, blue, purple.

  • And I know that, like some people may not like this, but I think once everything is lit up and all of the chrome and nickel is shining with all the colors of fans it'll just all tie in all the time I spent farting around with screws, I was able to get this painted.

  • You can see there's a slight difference in texture, but that's because this part was actually clear coded this part.

  • It's not like I was saying, Once it's in place here, you can't even tell.

  • But there's a slight texture change, which gives me a nice uniform bracket.

  • I guess without a door now, which will be a lot easier for the wiring the other night seemed to about the thumbscrews is I can use them on the power supply so they get the holes lined up because it's kind of difficult with this the way it is to get a screwdriver in there, you could use a little stubby screwdriver, but even this is kind of in the way.

  • So using the thumb screws in here, it makes it easier to mount the power supply and also gives just a little splash of color every time I go toe filmy style growing.

  • One of these stupid things in there I can't do it.

  • Tournament do now is I'm just gonna take the additional cables, get them all plugged in these two e.

  • P s for the CPU power up there on top.

  • So you've got to train these cables and use the combs to do that.

  • Then what's their train?

  • You can actually slide the combs kind of out of the way.

  • You see how I'm sort of training this one right now?

  • Thio go the way that I want and then what I usually do after they're nice and trained it, I just sort of slide it all the back across there, kind of like that.

  • That something sort of like that kind of unfortunate that I can't get a penny p.

  • E s combed together like I was able to do what the PC I'II plugs.

  • What I'll do is I'll kind of get the Radius.

  • Sort of how I want it.

  • Probably zip.

  • Tie these together on the back.

  • I'll take these and just sort of like, Okay, it's got to go that way up and over the cliff, you say there's a clip right here.

  • The clip is on the top, so I mean, it's got a curve this way over itself.

  • So I prepared.

  • I'll just sort of I kind of do the slinky thing with it, which will sort of start to train its CEO.

  • Now it's morning to rotate that way more naturally.

  • I'm just gonna plug in everything on this end first, cause obviously we can't can't start training things unless we have tie downs in the back that we're gonna use because I want things to go straight up.

  • I don't want them to curb.

  • So do something in the back to sort of time down the position I want.

  • That's why we don't start training until we get everything sorted.

  • Routed where we needed to go.

  • In my opinion, the GP wires of the ones that are hardest to get looking good and the ones that look best are always the guys who will, like individually sleep.

  • Each wire I've seen guys even braid them together looks phenomenal.

  • I clearly don't have any skill.

  • I feel like the GPU cables can make and break an entire stick of a system.

  • I don't know, because if you look on this side, obviously that's just like Ball doesn't look good, so but they're not trained yet, either.

  • But that's what it looks like.

  • That's all the cables are in the system.

  • Clear enough because we're running all m dot to storage.

  • That's all there is fan cables.

  • We're gonna be running off the headers and splitter or the jump the daisy chain.

  • Is it the A pen 24 pen, GPU.

  • There is no other wiring in this, What, with the exception of the pump, majority said, I'm gonna probably wire directly into the power supply, so it leads directly, but we figure out how I'm gonna do this.

  • All right, so we got the e.

  • P s plugged in 24 pin once again, the GPU cables or what I'm not in love with It's no fault of cable, Ma.

  • It's just how short they are on the fact that they've got shrink tie into this tea and all that.

  • It's just when the back doesn't look terrible, but doesn't look great either.

  • But the problem is like the way it twists.

  • You can see so much blue right there.

  • And there's just no way.

  • There's no way to make this look meat unless I'm gonna individually wire it myself.

  • Measure each strand and one at a time to get those perfect, uh, links.

  • That's never gonna happen.

  • And it's making me so sick of this mess.

  • Then the next you want to start like thinking about the idea of a future.

  • Build it doing rigid power cables.

  • Yeah, it's a thing.

  • It's solid copper wire that you bend and then be very careful.

  • Obviously they touch him, but you can sleep it, too.

  • But that's probably all as good as it's gonna get, because it looked even worse when I was trying to, like, make it go in the middle and go through there.

  • But if all goes according to plan, I might actually get this booted today.

  • The video won't be life today.

  • The video will be done today, probably multipart within a single video.

  • But I might actually get booted up today.

  • All right, so a couple goes up the camera so a couple of hours have elapsed.

  • All the wiring is in its nose.

  • Praise.

  • I'd like it, but once the panels on the back, it's not too bad.

  • I also forgot my pinning tools at the other studio so that I could pin the water pump up.

  • So what I did is I just have the standard say that coming up 1600 then it's just all pushed down there.

  • So it's a bit of a wiring mess back here.

  • But believe it or not, everything is wired.

  • That's it.

  • That's all the wires that are there.

  • If we come around, look at the other side.

  • Everything is in, as you can see, not really a fan of how these fan wires hooked are laying.

  • But that's everything.

  • So what we do right now?

  • Two things I'm gonna do the satisfying peel, Theo.

  • All right, so my 10.

  • 80 p panel hooked up to this rig, which is really funny.

  • It's all running through here.

  • If you've wondered how you connect stuff, these three thumbscrews unscrew the spring loaded, the back comes off, plug everything in running the whole plug it in and then put it back.

  • We've got one more appeal to do way, Theo.

  • Not too shabby.

  • I forgot to turn on the power supply, and it's like behind the glass.

  • I am not gonna take that off again.

  • I'm going to use something long and pokey.

  • Yeah, ha ha.

  • The question is, will it boot?

  • No, because it's not plugged in.

  • It's important to have your system plugged in.

  • If you wanted to do something.

  • There we go.

  • It's not gonna go to an OS or anything, because we do not have the M doctors in there.

  • They're gonna be running off of the dim dot to slot that goes next to the ramp.

  • Let's see if it powers on.

  • It does, and everything is lit up.

  • Everything is little.

  • Oh, my God.

  • The blocks GP blocks the CP block.

  • That's a good sign, because the connections are a little bit weird with Ian.

  • Win stuff to see people on 79 g h.

  • We're getting a picture.

  • Be two.

  • There we go.

  • Oh, my God.

  • It works well.

  • The picture image on screen.

  • There we go.

  • It's alive.

  • Finally.

  • Okay, So that's what this part of the video is gonna end.

  • Actually, um, we have to.

  • Clearly, where's the light?

  • I really think this guy, like clearly, I have to do all the B roll montage and all that sort of stuff.

  • So why don't we just go ahead and get the operating system installed, get or installed and they just let you guys to the amazing this starting.

  • It's done.

  • Thanks for watching guys.

  • We'll see you in the next one.

  • I really like what, Five months?

  • Four months?

  • Hey, we're getting faster.

  • Didn't dig a year.

  • Um, actually, it's not 100% done.

  • I'm still not happy with the SL I bridge.

  • I have a different bridge.

  • It's on its way.

  • So I just took a basic.

  • I think one of the Gold Bridges actually and painted it just to match the same case paint even right over the logo thing that, like lights up to see how we look from behind.

  • It looks terrible, but that's because the whole chrome paint thing I tried to do didn't work out.

  • You guys saw that video months ago, but that's besides the point.

  • I was thinking about actually painting the dim dot to cover to match the system.

  • But these are small tweaks I might do over time.

  • In terms of the fluid.

  • This is just distilled water with Pete Petey Nuke not PC Nuke.

  • It's actually the mayhem is inhibitor.

  • I'm not running any of the pastels and stuff.

  • I've had too many issues with those in the past, plus the only place you can see it is right here in the reservoir.

  • And I wasn't sure if the L E D lights from the fans were going to give off enough light or any sort of UV at all, but it's actually got a UV blue dye in there.

  • I wanted to see how it would perform.

  • How it would look doesn't show up at all.

  • But I'll show you with this.

  • You be flashlight here.

  • It's the, um, electric blue UV clear, so it's clear until you hit with UV light and then, as you can see, kind of lights up a blue color.

  • So I was hoping to kind of get that to light up, but I'd have to put a actual you be stripping there if I wanted to light up.

  • And I don't think I'm gonna do that.

  • The chrome tubes turned out fantastic.

  • The lighting.

  • Right now, I just have it sort of fading between that kind of a purple and a blue color, sort of like a spacey sort of theme.

  • I think we've reached our limit.

  • How many RGB fans we can actually daisy chain, because the front fans will give off kind of a periodic like a blue led or a green led just sort of a flicker just real suddenly doesn't bother me, though, because from the angle would be looking at the system from kind of where you guys are right there.

  • You can't see it anyway.

  • That's that's more or less.

  • But my view is gonna look like I'm gonna see the rear fans, which are gorgeous.

  • I'm going to see all this chrome tubing, chrome fittings, chrome back plate.

  • I will have one of the a, c R O G um envy Link Bridges coming, which are gunmetal brush gunmetal, which will match the motherboard and haven't RGB logo on it, which I'll probably make the purple or blue color to match the rest of the system.

  • As you see, I tied in the nebula theme with the cables from cable.

  • Ma.

  • We talked about that in the log part of this video that you saw earlier, and that's pretty much it in terms of cooling, though CPS idling at 33 C, it'll run five gigahertz on water, but I'm to play around with it and see exactly where I want it to be.

  • I want ultimate stability over the maximum core clock, and so we'll see how that kind of turns out.

  • So that's that.

  • I'm glad I didn't go with any sort of a died fluid.

  • I think that clear looks fine.

  • Any color I would have died.

  • It wouldn't have perfectly matched anything going on in here in terms of the blue or the purple for the violet, whatever color you want to call it.

  • And I think that that might need to train a little bit longer.

  • Actually, they're starting to spread.

  • That's okay.

  • Time will take care of that.

  • But that's it.

  • That's my build.

  • Now you're gonna see this again in the future video.

  • But that's because I'm gonna kind of take you guys along for the ride.

  • Where?

  • Remember I told you this could be the centerpiece of my new home office slash gaming room?

  • Well, I needed my system done.

  • And now I've got a sort of gut that room and pull the carpet out because my puppy ate the carpet, which is since been remedied.

  • But in terms of puppy training and all this stuff anyway, if I seem tired, that's cause I kind of am.

  • I pulled my back muscle back my back muscles.

  • My one back muscle.

  • I pulled it somehow and I'm not happy.

  • It's hurting, and this system is far too heavy to lift right now for me.

  • So it's gonna sit in here for a little while because I have a room to gut.

  • I can't even take a home yet.

  • That's depressing.

  • You know anything about it, But anyway, I'm gonna go, guys, Thanks for watching this long billed Siri's.

  • I hope the way it looks makes you guys happy.

  • It certainly makes me happy.

  • And since I'm the owner of this rig, I think that's what matters most, and I'm kind of okay with the way it turned out.

  • So if you don't like it, that's fine.

What's up, guys?
